Note: My apologies people, I have a ten minute special report in the middle
of the show...aaaaaaaaaaaaaauggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! If
anyone was interested in Latrell Sprewell's side of the story as to why he
went out of the way to attack his coach, I hope they enjoyed it....*snarl*
I'd rather have watched Ben and Blake exchange insults. *sob* Anyways, on
with the show....

*outside/inside Company*

Michelle and Jesse are talking about the close call she had with her father
almost catching them the other day. She tells him that her father bought
her story about sledding. Michelle tells him that she took everything out
of her savings and Jesse tells her that he has two motorcycles that they
can sell. They talk about how everything is going to go how they planned.
Jesse gives Michelle his mother's ring.

Jesse finds Buzz inspecting a motorcycle. Buzz tells him it could be just
what he needs. Nola comes up and tells them that the bike has "soft tail?"
Jesse says she knows her bikes. Nola tells them how she used to ride around
with her ex-husband. Nola encourages him to buy it and starts badmouthing
Jenna. Nola is telling him that he has to buy it....Buzz can't
decide...Nola drops a hint that all is not well with Jenna and the baby.

Meanwhile at Company, Michelle is telling Dahlia that she is planning on
running off and marrying Jesse. Dahlia tells her that she can't do that.
Michelle and Dahlia discuss the fact that they were going to plan a big
wedding together. Michelle says she wants to seize the moment. She begs
Dahlia to be happy for her. Dahlia tells her that she is and she'll throw
them a big party when they get back. Jesse comes in and Dahlia tells them
they can tell everyone they are there groupies and are in Chicago with them
and Marcus.

Jack Blue comes in and he and Jesse have a run in. Jesse tells his father
that his mother would have him b/c he is a drunk. They walk outside and
Jesse tells Michelle that she is her family and when they have kids he'll
be the kind of father he would have liked to have had.

*Marler Household*

Ross and Blake are discussing what a snake Ben is. Blake's opinion of him
is more negative than Ross'. There is a knock at the door and Blake opens
it to find Rick and Abigail at the door. Blake doesn't want to let him but
Ross tells her he needs to talk to him. Blake blasts him for trying to hire
Ben and asks, "How could you? Ben Warren isn't looking out for Abby's best
interests; he wants headlines." Abby asks Ross if he'll represent her and
he says yes. Ross asks Rick how he feels about it. Rick says its Abby's
decision and he hopes she is doing the right thing.

Blake runs off to tell people that Abby has hired Ross. Ross tells her not
to tell Ben and Blake says, "I wouldn't dream of it" and leaves. Abby tells
Ross that she doesn't want him to patronize her or lie to her and tell her
everything is going to be alright. She wants him to be honest with her.
Ross assures her that he will be. Rick tells them that they can't afford to
make any mistakes this time. Abby says sometimes she wonders if he isn't
the one who is deaf.

Ross goes to check on the twins while Abby and Rick talk. Rick apologizes
to Abby, but he wants to make sure that Ross is on the right track. Abby
explains how she has gone against her belief that violence is wrong and how
she has done a very bad thing. She tells Rick to stop trying to make her
see that what she did wasn't wrong. She tells him that she is paying for
what she has done by losing him to anger and bitterness. She isn't the one
changing...he is.

Rick tells her that he is angry at himself for not being able to take care
of her. He tells her he is lost. Abby comforts him and tells him that he
can't fix everything. She says she can't worry about herself and him at the
same time. Abby doesn't want him involved in the case.

Blake comes home to a strategy session. Rick (alot more humble than he has
ever been) tells Blake how grateful he was that Ross quit his job to
represent Abby. Ross tells Blake about the new witness that Ben found for
them.

Ben's Penthouse:
Blake visits Ben as he making notes by talking into a minirecorder. He
makes a memo to himself to buy a black teddy for Blake for Christmas. Blake
informs him that Ross has resigned from D.A. & that Abby has hired him.
Blake tells him to go away. Ben tells her that he is far from out of the
picture.

*special news report inserted here* [Damn, why didn't it take place during
another mushy Messe scene?] Ben makes a bet with Blake that if Ross loses
Abby's case due to Ben's interference she'll sleep with him...if not, he'll
pack his bags and never darken the fair city of Springfield again. (Am I
right on this?) Blake takes the bet. Ben tells her that he'll collect when
he wins and she'll enjoy it...She says that she just loves a man with all
talk and no action. Ben's reply: Is that why you married Ross? Blake leaves
in a huff.

Ben is on the phone with the governor exchanging small talk. Ben wants to
use a marker he has to get the D.A.'s job in Springfield.

*The Firehouse*

Jenna comes home from shopping. Harley tells her Coop is fine and gives her
the three telephone messages that she got~~~all from Nola. The two discuss
how annoying Nola is. Jenna is more worried about Buzz's interest in Nola
than she is Nola's interest in Buzz. Harley discovers that Jenna has been
to the doctor and wants to know why Buzz hasn't gone to any of the visits
with her. Jenna tries to avoid the subject but Harley isn't buying. The two
of them argue. Jenna finally tells Harley that Buzz isn't the father of her
baby.

Harley asks Jenna how she could betray her father and mentions that the
baby is the only thing that is tying Buzz to them right now. Jenna tells
her it happened once in New York. Harley figures out that Jenna slept with
Jeffrey to save her and Phillip's life (or cover anyways). Harley
apologizes for getting on Jenna's case. Jenna tells Harley that Nola knows
and has been hounding her every since.

Harley tells Jenna that she can't tell Buzz that he isn't the father until
he gets his memory back and has some sort of frame of reference to tell
him. Jenna doesn't know how much longer she can do this. Harley says she
has to go but that she'll take care of Nola if she does anything. Harley
leaves and Jenna looks at the results of her test and says, "its a boy."
