working when he is still recovering. She tells him she's convinced he's
changed since he rescued her from the grain bin. Amanda pops in in her
riding outfit and asks Roger why he called her out here, and what is he up
to now. Dinah looks on suspiciously.

invalid, hoping to win Phillip back, but he does have a plan.

herself in a Goshen outfit. Does she feel she has compromised her morals?

  Blake's Hospital Room:
Blake is over the moon about her boys and the fact that Rick is going
to keep her secret. Ross is looking at the boys through the nursery window
and talks with another dad. The dad says he could tell the boys apart
easily. Ross looks a little concerned.
Lillian asks Blake if she's worried about the changes that will take
place in her life when she brings the babies home. She isn't worried, and
apologizes for hurting Beth years before. Lillian forgives her. Blake says
she had no idea of how to make a family until she met Ross. She can't wait
for it all. Ross arrives wearing a great sweatshirt that says "I'm Kevin
and Jason's Daddy". Blue is his color. Jason is out of ICU. Ross wants to
know why the boys don't look alike.

  Abby's Apartment:
Abby is nervous around Rick. She doesn't want a ride to work, and Rick
wants to wait for her. They talk. Rick wants to know if they're okay.
Abby says she knows that something has been bothering him, and the kiss was
her gift to him.

  Alan's Room:
Alex tells Alan that he must follow the doctor's orders. Alan will do
so, but Phillip will be by his side. Alex starts to yack at him and he
tells her to shut up. Phillip said he won't leave town until Alan is on his
feet and he will take him at his word. The doctor enters, then Phillip.
The doctor has a prognosis.

  Abby's Apartment:
Michelle barges in with presents for the babies. Abby runs out to
catch the bus. Michelle had picked out gifts and gives him a card to sign.

  Jessup Farm:
Amanda is surprised that Roger, Dinah, and Hart are staying at the farm
together, and that Roger is rushing the divorce through so that Hart & Dinah
can be together. She brings up the fact that they put Roger in an
institution, and Roger says they're past all that. He's worried about
Amanda. She's not worried about him. She mentions the time Roger broke
into the Spaulding house. Roger says he doesn't remember. Hart wants to
talk to Roger.

 Blake's Hospital Room:
Blake has some excuses - it the lighting, it's the difference in size,
no says Ross, they don't look alike. Babies are all coneheads when they're
born. When they're born by C-section they're heads are round. That's why
they look different. Ross still thinks it's strange that they don't look
alike and they're identical twins. Suddenly Blake exclaims, "Oh, Ross how
could something so horrible happen?"
"What if one of our babies got switched?" Ross doesn't think so, and
tries to reassure her. Blake wants Ross to match the hospital bracelets up
to be sure. Ross leaves as Rick arrives with the gifts. Blake tells Rick
her problem.

  Alan's Hospital Room:
The doctor wants to send Alan to a facility for rehabilitation. Alan
wants to do it at home. Phillip asks to speak to the doctor outside. Alan
thanks Alex for supporting him. She says the cure may be worse than the
disease. The doctor tells Phillip that he doesn't think Alan is prepared
to make the decisions he must about his recovery. Phillip will take care of
it.

  Jessup Farm:
Hart & Roger talk on the screened-in porch. Hart thinks that Roger
likes Amanda. He says she's attractive and easy to look at, and that he had
shock therapy, not a lobotomy. What is Amanda doing here, Dad?
Amanda & Dinah talk. Amanda is amazed that they all get along. Dinah
was skeptical until he saved her life. The least she could do is take care
of him. She shows Amanda her ring. Dinah thinks Amanda is there to get
information about Blake and the twins.
Roger doesn't know Amanda well, but finds something compelling about her.
Hart thinks that Amanda is sneaky and dangerous. Roger explains that she's
been rejected by her father and brothers, and is vulnerable. A truck
arrives, a surprise from Roger.
Amanda doesn't want Dinah to sneak around for her. She's happy for
Ross and Blake. Amanda makes a few cracks about the Blake, the babies, and
Rick, but Dinah doesn't understand. Hart rushes in and brings them out to
see the surprise.

  Blake's Hospital Room:
Rick is upset that Blake used the baby switching idea with Ross. She
wanted to buy time. Rick refuses to be more than a godfather, but Blake
gets on his case. Ross arrives and says everything checks out, but still
wants to know why the boys aren't identical. Rick says he knows why.
Rick mentions polar body twinning (?) which may or may not be a real
term. He gives Ross the gifts. Ross thanks him for saving his sons and
wife. After Ross leaves to get the boys, Rick tells Blake that he will keep
the secret. Blake thinks he should go after Abby. Rick feels badly for not
helping her when she was drunk.

  Alan's Hospital Room:
Alan tells Alex he is patient and will make things right with Phillip.
Phillip enters and tells Alan he won't be needing rehab equipment.

  Jessup Farm:
The gift is a piano. Roger says he has no money, and can't even tip
the movers. Leo bought the piano, but he is not here to take the credit.
Hart & Dinah leave to take care of the movers. Roger sits down and begins
to play Amanda's favorite.

Blake's Hospital Room:
Ross brings the babies to Blake as Rick looks on. Blake asks Rick to
remember what she told him. He leaves and tells Abby to come with him to
Goshen.

  Alan's Hoispital Room:
Phillip tells Alex he is sending Alan to a rehab center. Two men enter
with a wheelchair. Phillip says he's leaving, says goodbye and walks out.

  Jessup Farm:
Hart & Dinah cuddle outside and Hart admits he was wrong about the ECT,
it was the best thing for Roger. They kiss as Roger plays with Amanda (on
the piano). Amanda still wants to know why he asked her there. Roger
grins and says "As a matter of fact, there is something you can do for me."
