It's Halloween, and Hart and Bridget are driving to a pharmacy to refill
Roger's pain pills. Hart is concerned that Dinah is alone with his father,
but Bridget reassures him that Dinah will be fine. Suddenly she says they
missed the turnoff. She's grinning but Hart isn't.

Back at the Jessup barn, Roger is busy gathering Petey's toys and hiding
them in a trunk. He gets back to his chair just in time because Dinah &
Petey forgot his Halloween sack. While Peter retrieves it, Dinah lets
Roger know that she is watching him and doesn't buy his innocent act.
Roger is undisturbed, but then Dinah notices how dirty his shoes are and
wants to know how they got that way if he can't get around.

At the Bauer cabin, Annie & Phil prepare to go back to SF. Philip gives
her a pep talk as she frets over Jeva and whether or not it's too late for
her marriage. She doesn't know that Reva is taking care of the children
for a while.

At Josh's, Reva tells Josh how happy she is to have the kids coming to
her house. Josh asks her if that's all she's happy about.

Outside Cedars, Rick is trying to tell Abby the truth about his fling
with Blake and the twins. Abby wants to know if he is in love with a
married woman. Rick says, "No, it's much worse than that."

Dr. Sedgwick has just heard Blake mention Fern LaPlant's name to Ross
and assumed that she told him everything. She tells Blake she's so glad.
Blake wiggles out of another one by explaining "the truth" as helping Annie
cover her drug use instead of the real secret. As she talks, Dr. S. frowns
and shakes her head outside of Ross' sight.

Rick tries to lead up to things by telling Abby how he felt about Annie
and how upset he was knowing she loved Josh. "I got drunk," he says, and
Abby wants to know if that's what he did that was so bad. Just then a
patient is brought into ER and Rick must go. Abby walks into the waiting
room to find Blake.

Annie complains that Reva was in love with Josh when she married Buzz and
that she did it for the children's happiness. Phillip jumps in with
another pep talk. He tells her how strong she is, that she has conquered
her demons, and one ex-wife is nothing. Annie's not so sure. "Their love
is _always_" she says. After more encouragement, Annie decides to fight
for her marriage and is ready to go back.

Reva talks about a previous Halloween when Shane was a baby (before she
became ill) and all the fun they had together. As she speaks, Josh looks
at her more and more intently. The electricity begins to spark, then they
regain their senses and Reva goes upstairs to help the children pack.

Dinah continues to berate Roger, saying that he's been faking and isn't
in pain. Roger calmly explains that all he did was go to the bathroom.
Petey's ready now, and before they leave, Dinah throws him on grandpa's lap
for a hug, knowing it will hurt Roger's broken ribs. After they are
gone, Roger hobbles back to the trunk and looks through the toys he has put
there. Holding up a bright red robot he grins, "This is even better."

Getting momentarily off the subject of Blake's lying, Dr. S. tells the
couple that it is true that one twin is getting more nutrition than the
other. The tests will be ready soon. Ross and Blake discuss her lying for
Annie until he is beeped to the office. Blake will wait here for the test
results. As soon as Ross goes, Dr. S. is back. She looks like she wants
to talk.

At LOWHAD, Marah asks if Annie will be okay, and why they have to leave.
Josh explains that Annie will need to be in a quiet place. Reva & Shane
come downstairs with Shane's suitcase, which opens and spills all the
contents. A happy fight ensues, with Reva & Shane battling Josh & Marah.
The weapons are everything from Shane's case. They laugh and play until
Josh & Reva meet crawling along the floor.

Roger is making his way outside the barn and recalls Hart warning Peter
not to play near the pond or grain silo. He goes into the silo and sets
the door so that it will close shut and trip the grain. He is sure the
grain will fill the silo in a few minutes. Thinking of Dinah he says, "You
asked for it, you got it." Outside he carefully places the robot on the
ground near the silo.

Jet is grooving to a song as they drive along. She remembers that it was
from "American Graffiti". She and Hart talk about the movie. When John
Travolta and Suzanne Somers are mentioned, she comments about going after
what she wants and getting it.

Dr. Sedgwick is very angry with Blake. She was willing to keep her
confidence but draws the line at being forced to lie to Ross herself.
Although Blake tries to rationalize her actions and begs her not to tell,
Dr. S. is firm. She says that if Blake involves her in another lie, she
will tell Ross everything. She walks off, and Abby comes over and asks
Blake if she's okay. Blake says she has to make a phone call and waddles
away. She calls Annie but gets Josh. Josh tells her where Annie is and
that she's withdrawing from the drugs. Blake asks Josh to please tell
Annie not to say anything about Fern LaPlant. Josh is confused but agrees.

Roger is back on the chair, once again just in time. Dinah & Petey
return from trick-or-treating. She tosses the sack to Roger and he asks if
she's check the candy. Dinah has no idea what he means, so he explains
that all parents have to be sure the candy is safe, and what would Hart
think if you let something happen to his son. She stomps off to check the
candy, while Roger calls Petey over and tells him to wash the chocolate off
his face in the bathroom nearby.

Bridget and Hart are still driving around. Hart wonders when they'll get
there, and Jet is smiling.

Everyone is cleaning up the mess from playing. Marah remembers when her
parents set up a tent with card tables for her and her dolls. The three of
them happily remember this fun time. Marah suddenly wants to learn the
fox-trot to best a girl at school. Her parents are ready to leave and try
to put her off, but she begs until they relent. As Reva & Josh begin to
dance, the electricity sparks again and they gaze romantically at each
other.

Petey's back from cleaning up, and Roger says you missed a spot. He
sends him back to the bathroom. Dinah appears with the candy and wants to
know where Peter is. Roger pretends he was asleep and says he must have
gone outside. Dinah rushes out to find him.

Blake is at the Bauer cabin looking for Annie. She searches the inside
and exclaims, "What is it with me and bad timing?" Suddenly she has a
labor pain and realizes that this is it.

Jeva are dancing around the living room, looking very romantic and a lot
like old times. Their chemistry lights up the room, until Annie & Philip
walk in on the scene.

This time Petey's face is clean and grandpa asks him to stay with him.
He says the farm is dangerous at night. Dinah spots the toy and thinks
Peter has gone into the grain silo. She steps inside and the door closes
behind her. As she bangs on the door the grain begins to trickle down.

At the pharmacy, Jet is letting the air out of one of the truck's tires
(resourceful girl!).

Annie & Philip stare at Reva & Josh dancing. They stop and look back.

At the hospital, Rick suggests that he and Abby go to the park to talk.
Just then Ross rushes in looking for Blake. Abby tells him that Blake was
upset and made a phone call. Dr. S. appears and says she has the test
results. Rick looks very interested.

Blake goes back into the cabin after realizing that her car won't start.
She tries to call 911 but the phone is not working. As she considers her
alternatives, her water breaks.
