   Company.
Jet leaves Dylan in Mindy's hands and transports to Vanessa's, where
she's momentarily rendered speechless by Matt's remodeling handiwork in
the bathroom. In a word: HUMONGOUS! Including an out-sized marble
jacuzzi (Matt and Vanessa could assume every sexual position from the
Kama Sutra in that sucker). :)
Talk turns to Dylan; Matt assures his sister things will work out if
she and Dyl tell each other the truth and remain faithful throughout the
blindness crisis.

Back at the boarding house, while preparing green beans in the
kitchen, Dylan senses something's wrong in Mindy's life. She dodges the
question, and insists that her brother let the Lewis clan help him; get
the houses built, get him out of debt. He accepts.

[Barbara Crampton was wearing a very sheer off-white blouse; some "tit-
tay" visible, but the cameras were avoiding cleavage coverage like the
 plague :) ]

   Bank.
FauxRoss is "captured" (black and white footage) by the bank
security cam (routine procedure) in the act of withdrawing funds from
Ross' escrow account.
Blake arrives as Howie is spirited out of Dodge by Jenna. During
casual hallway convo with a teller, Blake is told "...you just missed
your husband, Mrs. Mahler...".

The real Ross arrives some time later, but the woman who handles his
account had already departed for the day.

Later (at the Journal?), Blake has a heart-to-heart w/Tangie, asking
The Dream pointblank why she didn't tell AM about her prior Alan
connection. Answer: Alan asked her not to. T continues that, IHO, AM
_really_ needs a loving relationship w/ his father.
Blake is in the act of warning Tangie to commit to either AM or Alan,
"Tell AM the entire truth..." when Alan Michael arrives to take Tangie
out on a date.

Ross transports to his wife's side, and in the midst of matrimonial
flirtation, learns that Blake saw "him" (actually, "his" back) at the
bank earlier.

Looks like another ship in Alan's "master fleet" is about to take a
hit below the decks. :)
[Unless Ross doesn't bother to relate time frames of his
and Blake's bank visits, and Alan activates a Plan B
to get Ross out of Dodge.]

[A,C,D]:
-------

With Alexandra at his side and a bank president hovering with a
contract, Nick puts his "John Henry" to a deal maneuvering Spaulding's
big-bucks between banks, in a quasi-attack on Lewis Oil (hopefully
forcing Vanessa to turn to Spaulding for help (and away from any forced
alliance with Alan)).
[Boy howdy, we're a far cry from the good ol' days of the
"My name is Nick _McHenry_, damnit!" battle cry, ain't we?]

Crosstown, Roger pulls a surprise visit at "Alan's Lair", and
announces that he's going to ingratiate himself with Alexandra (to
cover Alan's recent fumble in that department).
Alan admits he's a bit pissed that his sister is still vulnerable to
Roger.
Rog pays a visit to Alex in short order, warning her to keep her foot
on her brother's neck now that she has him in a spot (reference to
Alan's surprise "welcome home" party).

Back at The Lair, AM bops in with an expensive bottle of Napoleonic
cognac, interrupting Alan in a "post-Roger visit" furnishing-throwing
fit. Alan lets it be known that there'll probably be bloodshed in
Springfield before his quest for signatures is over.
AM remarks that Alan needs someone in his life he can love; a
romantic interest. Hlding a book w/a color glossy of Tangie in the
middle of the pages, Alan denies he has any women on the side. :)
AM presses: "If there is someone, no matter what the risk - what's
stopping you??" ... I don't want you being alone, dad...".
During subsequent convo, AM admits that he's taking his own advice,
and going for the gold w/Tangie: "...a person comes along like that in
your life, you feel like you can't pass it up...". Exit AM.

Jenna arrives with the cashiers check from Ross's escrow account.

Rog also returns, and reports that Alex has self-engineered leverage
to keep Vanessa in line (Jenna overhears the convo from the top of the
stairs).
Roger turns down Alan's cognac invite, opting to return immediately
to Holly: "You know, Alan; it's so good to have someone waiting at home
for you."
Jenna decloaks (walking w/back pain; hand on stomach).
Alan: (major brooding look; thick sarcasm)
"My, aren't _we_ the lovely pair..."
The Jen-ster notes that she saw the way he was looking at Tangie Hill
the other night --- like he didn't want to be embarrassed in front of
her at Alex's "surprise party".
Mr. Man has just been romantically busted. :)

At Lewis Oil, Mr. French the Banker gives Buffy and Jody - uh, I
mean Van and Josh, 36 hours to cover all of their notes --- or else.
Josh jumps ballistic and kicks the guy out of the office.
Bill (blowing right past a pissed Wanda) pays an unexpected visit to
his mom at work, and Van chews him out for hiding in Matt's truck and
playing private eye ("...you've got to respect other people's privacy",
etc.).
Mindy transports in with Dylan. He thanks Van and Josh for their
financial help --- then gets the bad news about Lewis facing financial
ruin. Wipeout City. Mindy runs to get Nick's help [Buh-ha-ha-ha-ha!].

Matt enters (Damn! Is this a near-record for major characters in any
single office??!), and is brought up to speed on Van's set-to with Bill;
they agree to talk about possible solutions for their problems in
general "tomorrow".
[Actually, Sid, Mindy, Eve, Fletch, Alex, (Ross),
etc. in Vanessa's office for the charity "skull
session" probably hold that particular record. ]

Mindy hightails it home, runs into the library, spots Nick (Alexandra
also present), and begins screaming that someone's trying to undermine
Lewis Oil "and we have to find out _who_ TODAY!"
Nick agrees to, um, "help". :)
