Blood in the Board Room: Alan joins the board meeting and offers to show
a video that should interest the board members. Alexandra does a royal
swan dive right over the edge in attempt to prevent him from pushing 'play.'
She claims his mere presence make a mockery of the meeting and he should
be asked to leave. Nick cancels the meeting- just 'cause it wouldn't be
right when Mum is so upset. Needless to say the members are starting to
think Alex is crazy, and Nick guilty of...something. They want to vote
anyway. Nick says a final 'N-O-!' and promises to answer any allegations
at a later date.

After the board members leave Alan pops in the tape and reveals it to
be an Alan-Michael Promo tape. 'You sure fooled us' Alex says. Nick
looks nickish, AM-nervous. Alan says he would never play his trump
card at such an early date. Alan suggests nick just get it over with
and resign. "Over my dead body" Alex bark- bringing up a subject Nick
would rather forget, and AM knows nothing about. Alan offers up the
idea of Nick on trial, and Nick toys with calling Alan's bluff. He
claims that the showing of the tape would only implicate Alan in the
MURDER. Alan dares him to call. AM sweats.

Alex takes charge and kicks the cousin out of the room. Both try to pull
on the others heart strings in hopes of the other backing down. Final
Alan just says it and tells her they should compromise so they can be a
family. Turns out Alan's idea of compromise is letting AM run Spaulding. Alex
laughs at him and tells him she knows he will only hurt his son again. So
much for family unity.

Later AM confronts his papa about 'murder' talk. Alan tells his son
that no one's been murdered and asks him to just sit tight and trust
him.

Enter Mindy-a woman with a mission-to wring her husbands neck.
She bitches him out for putting his own worries about the Presidency
over concerns for her brother. She also is mighty p.o.'d that he
spent most of his time at the hospital making business calls from
the pay phone. Nick defends himself by saying that was all he
could do. The little misses, however, says he did not have to DO
anything. He just needed to be there. The two leave and go to
the Diner for some good hometown greek cookin'.

Chez Holly: Roger proposes to Holly after she angrily shoves him out
of her bedroom and slams the door. Holly is taken aback. She tells Rog
he must be crazy, but he wants real answers. She tells him his draw
to Alex will always be like the drone to the queen bee. She shows him a
photo of the happy couple at a country club function. Rog spies a bag
full of clippings of he and Alex in their hay day and asks Holly what
the deal is. Poor Holly is embarassed at first, but finally admits
to falling for the dodger when she was sent to seduce him in alcapulco,
and that she was terribly hurt by his marriage to Alex. "It hurt me
deeply. And it still hurts" she confesses.

Rog comforts her and they have a roll in the hay which brings them
back to the question at hand; Holly, will you take Roger....
Rog turns the charm on and has his beloved on the edge of an
'i do' and a liplock when there is a knock at the door.

Enter Alex: Roger! I need to talk to you. Alex busts in.
Holly stares shocked at the queen bee her drone.

Jenna's Penthouse: Knock at the door. It's Nadine. Jenna is not thrilled.
Nadine somehow manages to work her way in toting bags of old baby clothes,
pregnancy books and Moussaka to keep Mama Jenna healthy. Jenna declines
Deenies hospitality, but this blonde ain't backing down. She expresses
concern for Jenna's health, but J. calls her on it suggesting that the
feelings are guilt for keeping such a juicy secret from her hubby.

Now their getting down to business...Deenie wants to know if Jenna
spilled the beans to Buzz when the met the day before.(She did not)
She also wants to know what Jenna's gonna say when she starts busting
out of her designer duds...Jenna offers some lame exscuse about
a salesman from Chicago and a one night stand, but Deenie's not
satisfyed. "He's not going to buy it." "Too bad" Says Jenna.

Deenie then swings into protector role and tells Jenna that
Buzz should not be denied the role of being his childs father
(again) But Jenna's done and shoves her out the door once and
for all. She gathers herself and promises her baby to take care
not trust a single one-not Nadine, not Buzz, Not Alan...not one....

The Diner: Eleni and Buzz are arguing. Eleni says that Nadine
wants some devotion and love from her hubby, not glitter and glitz.
Buzz thinks his wife needs a little glamour tolken.

Over in the booth Frankie sits with Blake and a big fat check
for 30K from Ross. Frankie announces he is going to go on a
search for a new office and leaves Blake safely at the diner
filling out paperwork. Buzz joins him.

While they are Office hunting they overhear Jenna trying to rent
space from a slimey landlord. Jenna's almost got the space until
the man figures out that she's the dame being sued by Alexandra
Spaulding. Suddenly, the office is no longer available. Jenna is
highly upset and leaves cursing Alexandra Spaulding and the control
she has over Jenna's life.

Later when Buzz returns to the diner he tells Eleni she's right.
Nadine may not appreciate a monetary favor from him, but he
knows someone who would. He then goes to Nick and asks him to
drop the charges against Jenna. This would be considered payment
for his part in the Nick-Bahamas rescue. Nick tells him to consider
it done.

Later on Ross meets his wife. He tells her of the fiasco board
meeting and mention some other deal with some other company. Looks
like Ross is ready to jump off the Spaulding train. I smell set-up....

Van & Matt: Matt asks Van to go to the Bauer cabin with him. She is
hesitant to leave the hospital, an dylan, at first, but he convinces
her that they need to 'talk.' After they 'do it' they discuss Van's
situation. She is highly stressed; dylan's condition, Alan's blackmail
etc. Matt tells her he is upset that her pressures are so great and
he is unable to help or protect her. He feels his presence in her
life isjust another added stress and suggest they take him out of the
equation. After some arguing and many hugs she finally agrees.
the two sadly part.
