At the hospital Vanessa asks faux Jenna what's inside her locket and says
that it was Jenna spying on her for Alan. Vanessa should have known that
Jenna's friendship was an act, but never believed Jenna would do this.
Jenna tells Vanessa that she didn't know it was bugged-- she'll do
anything to prove her friendship. Vanessa asks where Alan is.

Alan/A-M: The Spaulding board members have all agreed to meet with Alan
tomorrow. Alan says that he will walk in with his son beside him. Alan
came back to Springfield for revenge, not to get to know A-M. He
says he's very proud of his son and loves him. A-M tell is father he's
waited all his life to hear that, but that he doesn't know his father.
A-M asks Alan if he loved Hope. Alan tells him, yes, but that it changed
and that love became a weapon. Does he love anyone now? He didn't
have an opportunity in prison.

Tangie at the Roadhouse: Alex come in to ask Tangie about Alan.
Alex is worried about Alan-- he's turned his back on everyone who loves
him. Tangie is not that close to him, but Alex thinks Tangie is his
type. Tangie is not interested in him, but Alex says that if Alan is
interested in her, she's in a lot more trouble than she ever dreamed of.
Tangie doesn't want anything from the Spauldings & doesn't have to talk
to Alex since she doesn't work for her. Cutter show up and interrupts them.

Diner: Buzz asks Nadine what reward he should ask Alex for, but Nadine
doesn't want anything. After he leaves Nadine tells Eleni that Buzz
would be with Jenna if Nadine hadn't erased the videotape, so Nadine &
Buzz's relationship is built on a lie.

Hospital:
Dylan has survived the surgery, but Eve tells Ed that the surgery didn't
go very well. Bridget asks Eve if Dylan will be o.k. Eve explains that
the surgery went smoothly, but the nerve damage to his eyes was more
extensive than originally thought. Bridget asks if he's blind, but Eve
doesn't say --nothing is sure. There is a phone call from Billy, so
Vanessa talks to him and tells him the results of the surgery. She
starts crying after the phone call and Matt tells her that his arms are
around her, holding her (he isn't really touching her).

Roadhouse: Cutter tells Tangie to tell him if she hears anything about
the hit-n-run since it happened close to the Roadhouse. He tells her not
to trust the Spauldings-- he's heard about all the people they have
hurt. Tangie tells him that A-M was the man on the beach who saved her,
but he says he already figured that out. A-M shouldn't be trusted since
he's a Spaulding, but Tangie says the A-M is not like Alan & Alex-- he's
a good person, honest, kind and can love. Cutter: Are you trying to
convince me or yourself? Jenna comes in looking for Alan and tells Alex
that she's very upset with Alan. Jenna is about to tell her why when
Buzz comes in. Jenna leaves after asking Buzz to get her some water so
that he won't see her pregnancy. When he gets back, he tells Alex that
something has changed about Jenna. Alex asks if he still cares about Jenna.

A-M and Alan sneak into the Spaulding offices and Alan gives A-M a ring
that belonged to Brandon-- that symbolizes everything the Spaulding
legacy stands for. A-M tries it on, but asks why he didn't give it to
Phillip. He had his chance, but he blew it. Holding on to Spaulding
will be the hard part. Alan is concerned about A-M's youthful naivete.
Does A-M have the same passion for Spaulding that he does for Tangie?
He can have only one of them.
Jenna storms into Alan's house, looks through his desk and finds a tape of
Vanessa from the bugged locket. She ruins the tape and cries about her lost
friendship and being used by Alan.

Hospital:
Ed tells Eve that she did great in surgery-- it's a miracle that Dylan is
alive. Eve hopes that Dylan feels that way when he wakes up. Ed asks
Eve where his clothes from last night are. She avoids answering him by
going to tell Dylan's family/friends that they can go in for a short
visit. The whole crowd goes in and Dylan wonders who's there. Bridget
holds his hand, Josh asks how he feels, David kids him about the bandage
around his head--it's a good look for him. Dylan asks if Nick is there
and tells him that he's going to build his house-- Nick says he's
counting on it. Eve kicks everyone out except for Bridget. Dylan tells
her that he made it and feels safe now. Bridget tells Dylan that he's
strong and made it through the operation. They will be together-- that's
all that matters. Dylan asks her what else-- there's something in her
voice. "What aren't you telling me?"

I left out one scene in my update and thought people might want to know
about it:

Ed at an AA meeting:

Ed tells the group about the anniversary party where he accidently
drank booze. He didn't stop drinking it until it was all down-- he got
such a rush and he liked it. He remembered the good parts of booze, not
the bad stuff. Since then he can't think of anything else. He tells
himself that he can handle it, that he shouldn't tell the person he
loves, that it was only one drink, that things are different now--he's
happy, and maybe he's even cured of alcoholism. Last night he bought a
bottle of scotch as a gift, remembers stopping to pull it out of the bag, but
doesn't remember anything else and he's scared.
