Guiding Light Update for Wednesday, October 29th, 1997

Phillip and Harley work through some of their
troubles and end up making love and spending
the night together.

The next morning, Reva shows up and finds them
in bed together which makes her decide to ask
Phillip to sneak her into the Spaulding mansion
without being seen. She tells Harley that
she wants to start the investigation for her
sister again. Reva tells Harley and Phillip
about her talk with Annie and how Annie showed
her the real cameo and hinted to Reva that
she may have done something to her sister.

At the hotel, Dinah and Cassie are arguing
and are almost in a cat fight. Dinah is
proud of herself for causing a scene and
making the social worker and attorney walk
out on Cassie. Cassie is livid that Dinah
has messed everything up and slaps Dinah
across the face when Dinah smiles because
she is happy she messed up Cassie's plans.
Hart comes in and gets between them to
stop the fight. Cassie tells Hart about
Dinah being happy she ruined everything and
Dinah jumps in by trying to get Hart to
believe she wouldn't do anything like that
and claims to be innocent. Hart is torn
and tells Dinah he needs time to think.
Dinah storms out not believing Hart didn't
take her side.

Cassie decides there is only one chance
left she has now to get her daughter back
and she intends to do it. Cassie tells
Hart she is going to remain in Chicago.

Alan is furious with Annie for setting up
Hart, Cassie, and Dinah in Chicago. He
tells Annie that she probably just ruined
every chance Cassie had of getting her
daughter back and now they will have nothing
to hold over her head. He worries that
Annie has ruined their plan completely.

Buzz and Jenna are together and he asks her
about "their" baby. Jenna lies because she
feels forced to do so since Buzz has amnesia
and wouldn't know/understand the truth right
now.

However, Jenna perks up when Buzz calls her
"Petula". She tells him that must be a step
in the right direction because that is his
nickname for her. She is hoping he is getting
his memory back.

Well, that's all for this Wednesday.
