Guiding Light Update for Wednesday, October 1, 1997

This is a brief update because the past 3 weeks
have been hectic and I'm still catching up.
So please excuse this update if it isn't that
good because I haven't had that much time
to put into doing my updates.

Alan and Josh show up at Cross Creek to find Annie and
Reva and Fran. Alan unties Annie. Annie is livid
that Alan paid Fran to keep Annie from Josh so he
could reunite with Reva. Fran admits that Alan paid
her off but that Reva paid her off also. Fran just
wants to be left alone and tells them she doesn't
want any more money...just please leave her alone.

Annie is unforgiving of Alan and everyone. She
later returns to Cross Creek and vows to destroy
Cross Creek and everyone that has ruined her
life. She throws a brick through the window and
once inside takes a drink and ends her sobriety.

Harley is upset that Phillip feels she needs
protection. Harley of course thinks she can
take care of herself. Annie calls Harley and
tells her she will make her pay for what she
has done to her. Harley is shaken but decides
not to tell Phillip about the phone call.

Matt overhears Blake and Ross discussing their
children. Matt is hurt when he realizes that
he and Vanessa may never have a chance to plan
their child's future together.

Rick is filling Ed in on the situtation with
Michelle and Jesse. Ed reveals to a stunned
Rick the Jesse was the recipient of Maureen's
heart.

Reva tells Josh that she wants to give up
the search for her sister. She just can't
take it anymore and wants to move on with
their lives. Meanwhile, Cassie feels awful
when after Billy shows her a wonderful
time on the town. Cassie is finding it
hard to live with herself and her guilt.

That is all for yesterday.
