GUIDING LIGHT UPDATE

Monday, September 30, 1996

**Holly isn't buying it that Roger's a miracle waiting to happen
**Dinah and Hart become engaged
**Josh and Reva spar about Reva "In all her Glory" while Buzz listens in
**Blake takes Meg's advice on how to handle Ross

Let the show begin...

FOLLYBEND: Holly and Meg are playing on a blanket on the floor when a
distraught Blake comes in and announces that she has to ask her mother do do
something really repulsive or Roger's going to kill Hart.

LOONEY BIN: With eerie music in the background, Roger is squeezing the crap
out of his clay sculpture. Ross comes from behind and rests his hand on
Roger's shoulder noting that Roger has made quite a mess. They proceed to
discuss Roger's sculpture with undertones relative to Roger's latest agenda.
A team of doctors come in to talk with Roger.

THE FARM: Dinah asks how the ring got into the apple and wants to know if it
means what she thinks it means (boy this chick needs **everything** spelled
out for her). Hart says that it means he loves her, wants to marry her, and
spend the rest of their lives together.

LOWHAD: With Buzz listening outside the door we hear Josh telling Reva that
they said all their is to say. Reva wants to know why Josh is trying to ruin
her marriage to Buzz.

**Roll Lighthouse**

Reva lambastes "Bud" for running across town and telling Buzz what happened.
Josh thinks that it says a lot about Beva's marriage if she doesn't want her
husband to know.

FOLLYBEND: Blake updates Holly on Roger's situation. Holly replies that she
likes laundry because it does not involve decisions (sounds like McLaiby's
viewpoint on how the woman's brain works) Needless to say, Blake looks at
Holly like she has two heads then tells her mother that she would know for
sure if Roger is faking his new personality. Holly isn't so sure, but she
decides to go see him anyway. Blake cautions Holly not to be alone with
Roger.

LOONEY BIN: Roger puts his act in high gear for the team of doctors
evaluating him.

FARM: Dinah brings up the tiny detail of her still being married to Roger.
She still cannot believe that Hart wants to marry her. Hart says that they
are one person and one soul for the rest of their lives. A weepy Dinah goes
on about Hart "Oh, you love me....you don't judge me....I'm so safe with you"
blah blah blah While Hart gazes on (looking like he has a stiff neck) then
asks Dinah if she will marry him. To which Dinah replies "I can't, I can't".

LOONEY BIN: The dream team shows Roger pictures of ink spots and asks him
about his dreams. They also want to know if he feels remorse for what he did
to Dinah. Roger plays the gentle giant to the hilt then they ask him about
when he raped Holly. On cue Holly walks in as Roger is describing his
feelings about the rape.

LOWHAD: Reva didn't want to hurt Buzz. Josh thanks her for giving him the
pleasure then asks if she told Buzz about her little striptease for Alan.
Reva (not knowing that she's giving Buzz an earful) says "No, and I certainly
didn't tell him about you haulin' me outta there naked back to the pond."

**Halftime**

Reva goes on to say that she was trying to humiliate Alan (and we see Buzz
leaving). Reva thinks Joshua is jealous of Buzz and Alan. Josh thinks Reva
has gone over the bend. "Does Annie know about all of this?" wonders Reva.
"She doesn't need to deal with it," says Josh. He then mentions that Annie
is out of town. Reva gazes at Josh and says "We're alone."

FOLLYBEND: Blake tells baby Meg about her indiscretion with Rick and how
much she loves Ross.

LOONEY BIN: Ross and the doctors leave Roger and Holly alone. Holly tells
Rog that she's ready for his next act. Roger tells her that it's a miracle
but he's a different person now. Holly: What's the plan? You always have a
plan. Roger: There's no plan, this is all new to me. Holly: Ahh, it's
tough being a miracle. Roger: I'm a changed man, whatever I do will be
based on love not revenge and power. Holly: And that would be a miracle.
Roger: Even through your cynicism it's good to talk to you (he touches
Holly's arm) Holly: Talk's fine, but don't touch. (looks like the laundry
lady is gone)

FARM: Hart realizes that they have to wait until she's divorced. They
discuss Roger and how Dinah feels guilty about getting Hart involved. They
rehash the same old Roger stories, how he drugged her, stole her money, and
he's a horrible father. Dinah think's that Roger will do something terrible
to Hart. Hart won't let him. Dinah finally accepts Hart's proposal and the
seal it with a kiss.

LOONEY BIN: Roger never meant to harm Holly, he feels nothing but love for
her. Holly is totally convinced he is lying.

LOWHAD: Reva wants to know where the children are and w/ sexual undertones
says that there is a reason she asks....Reva wants the children to spend the
night with her. Josh says no, not after what she did with Alan. Reva is
ticked and calls Josh a self-righteous, sanctimonious prig then storms out.
Josh is totally frustrated.

FARM: Hart and Dinah come up for air to extract the ring from the apple. She
takes off Rog's wedding rings and Hart places the apple ring on her
finger.....and they're down for the count.

FOLLYBEND: Ross is with Blake and Meg. Blake wants the scoop about Roger
but Ross is all googly eyed over Meg and babies. Ross goes to get Meg's
bottle and Blake tells baby Meg that once Ross holds the twins in his arms he
is not going to care who's they are.

BEVA'S PLACE: Reva calls for Buzz. He comes down the stairs with his gym bag
saying that he didn't expect Reva back so soon.

FARM: Hart says he's going to teach Dinah how to ride horses. She thinks
the horses are going to need a caretaker because Dirt will be busy racking up
frequent flyer miles.

LOONEY BIN: Roger gets to Holly by telling her that deep within her still
lies the crazy uncontrollable passion they share which she's traded in for
her new well ordered life. Holly neurotically denies this and suggests to
Roger that if he wants the doctors to believe him he should show some trace
of his old self, but she doesn't want Blake tangled up in this.

LOWHAD: Josh is walking around the house picking up toys. He puts them down
on the table then throws them around in frustration.

BEVA's PLACE: Reva offers restitution for her sins, but Buzz just leaves
without saying a word.
