[D,E,C]:
-------

Ed 'n Eve go shopping for a new mattress, and soon find themselves
bouncing and rolling around atop one another right there in the
department store showroom.
   [A very funny scene, but let's face it, folks;
had that been, say, Sid and Gilly, security
(or at the very least an irate sales staff)
would have been on them like white-on-rice.]

Jenna's there, too, unspotted, in the baby department. The Jen-ster
is forced to cabbage-patch slap a politically-correct (albeit otherwise
quite intelligent) saleswoman, who assumes she's married ("...I'm a
single-mother...and many of your other customers may be, too...").
Matt and Jet arrive on a "cheering-up expedition" (he's bummed about
Lucy's attitude toward him, and thinks his sister is actually breaking
up with Dylan --- they used to visit the furniture dept. of stores when
they were youngsters as an antidote to mild depression (and pretend they
were "rich").
Awkward scene part two, as Ed inquires about Matt's job status, and
the boy, pissed _just_ a bit ("Did my father put you up to that
question??"), replies that he's a "professional vagrant" (yuk, yuk, yuk :) ).
Bridget rides to the rescue w/info about her brother's job w/Dylan. Ed
and Eve takes it back to the mattresses (later seguing to waterbeds).

[Back at Company, Matt and Jet continue their dept. store chat,
and we learn the kid that Matt pulled from a burning shed when
he was eight died despite M's heroics. Jet consoles her brother
(apparently, the episode traumatized him long-term), reminding
him that the fact that he TRIED was of major importance:
    "...just keep trying, Matt...". ]

Chez Bauer, Michelle storms into the kitchen w/ Bill trailing about
three feet behind (half-day of high school).
At first, Bill assumes she's pissed that Ben found it necessary to
tell a cadre of his pals about the budding M & B relationship (a stance
somewhat mollified when, not understanding the true source of her anger,
confesses that he gave Ben $20 bucks to take a hike the night of their
beach stroll --- Michelle is impressed by her suitor's, um, "largess").
Ed 'n Eve return w/ the mattress, and Bill lends the good doctor a
hand taking it upstairs. Later, with Eve evesdropping, Bill and Michelle
engage in another convo, and she admits that the main reason she was
angry earlier, is that Ben popped off about "crazy Eve", not long out of
the loony bin, moving in chez Bauer.
   Whoops. Break out the lithium.

[F]:
---

Tangie, concerned about "Explosion Boy's" (Alan Michael's) physical
condition, hightails it to Eve's, and solicits burn first-aid info under
the guise of doing research for a Journal article.
Later, she places a "call for help" via a coded newspaper ad (per
written instructions in a book cover).
[I assume that was the book of poetry Alan gave her.
Though Alan Michael warned her that his father was
"trying to kill him", remember, T still doesn't know
    Alan's true identity.]

[A,B]:
-----

Buzz and Deenie decide to get hitched in Vegas (and later divorced)
in order to protect their Soul Mates contract.
Caroll (who won a radio contest) and the Cooper clan board the Train
to Vegas in glory, besiged by media reps (and an overbearing producer).
Eleni privately expresses concern to Buzz, that the marriage-trick may
backfire and hurt Nadine.
Lucy opens a pack of photos she had developed commercially, and
discovers that Matt rescued Marina.

Back at Meals On Wheels (which is closing for a week), Jenna bops in
late w/ a bottle of fine champagne and balloons, fields a call from
Vegas, and learns that Buzz and Nadine are (just now) planning to get
married (!).
Filled with joy, she transports to the train station, missing Buzz by
mere minutes. The Big J learns, however, that the Soul Mates Express is
stopping-over in Denver, and she prepares to intercept The Father of her
Child in the high country. ;))
