A Fancy (Spaulding??) Dining Room: Alan and four potential investors are
having a business meeting; Hawk is there to serve.

Mental Hospital: Hart runs in, out of breath, looking for Roger who has
just escaped again.

Casa Reardon: Matt, Bill and Dinah worry and fidget about Vanessa's
whereabouts. They call her cell phone number.

A Road, Outside of Springfield: Vanessa drives fast. The phone rings; she
doesn't answer. Suddenly she blinks, sees Zachary standing in her path,
and swerves to avoid hitting him. The car crashes and flips over, landing
upside down and smoking ominously. Vanessa is unhurt. She contemplates
just staying put until the car explodes, but at the last minute she climbs
to safety.

Casa Reardon: Matt doesn't understand why the phone rang and then went
dead. The three search for a note, missing the test results once again.

Mental Hospital: Roger's doctor thinks it's curious Hart is so concerned
about Dinah and she wonders aloud if Roger's paranoia may have some basis.
Hart assures her he hates Dinah and he and the doctor debate the merits and
demerits of shock therapy. Enter a guard to report that Roger must have
left the hospital grounds. Cut to somewhere else in the hospital where
Roger has donned some kind of uniform.

Spaulding Business Meeting: Enter Reva, dressed to kill. She lays it on
especially thick with the potential investors. Finally she distributes her
version of Alan's proposal, figured by Alan Michael, showing that Alan's
plan over estimates the profits greatly.

Spaulding Den: Amanda greets Philip, back from his trip to visit Beth and
Lizzie. Feigning interest in his personal life, she gets him to admit that
Beth threw him out and wants a quick divorce. He has brought the money to
pay for her stocks, however, so the trip wasn't a total loss.

Roadside: Vanessa crawls out of the car and hugs Zachary. She's glad she
didn't hurt him; he's relieved she didn't kill herself.

Casa Reardon: More searching for Vanessa. They call Bridget, Wanda, and
finally Frank Cooper, who agrees to keep a look out for her car. Matt and
Bill go to check on the burning dinner and Hart appears at the door.

Spaulding Den: Amanda continues her fake concern for Philip about the
demise of his personal life. Philip vows not to lose Lizzie. Amanda
offers to just borrow the money for the IRS from Philip and still keep her
stocks--that way he can go home to be with his family. Philip is upset,
but not too stupid to see through her schemes.

Spaulding Business Meeting: Reva continues to point out all the pitfalls
of Alan's proposals. Finally they all leave. Enter Hawk, set to serve,
but the party's over. Reva dismisses him. Alan comes on to Reva,
insisting that she enjoys all this intrigue, and, by default, him too.
Much tedious conversation between these two with each baiting the other.
She keeps saying she's going home to Buzz and he keeps asking why she
doesn't leave. (We keep wondering where the fast forward button is.)

Casa Reardon: Hart wants to come in and warn Dinah about Roger.

Roadside: Vanessa and Zachary watch her car burn as she bemoans the fact
that she didn't die already. (Roger skulks nearby.) She's upset her
family will suffer because of her illness. (Roger spies, unnoticed.)
Zachary insists the doctors could find a cure for her illness. Helicopter
noises in the background. Vanessa has a new idea--to fake her death.

Spaulding Den: Philip says thanks but no thanks, Amanda. Now give me the
stock certificates. She goes to the safe and puts the money (bonds,
stocks???) from Philip inside, retrieves her stock certificates and hands
them to Philip. She leaves for bed and Philip sits down. He removes his
wedding ring and contemplates his future.

Casa Reardon: More Dinah and Hart squabbling. He wants her to stay inside
so she will be safe from Roger. Then he calls Bridget to warn her,
incurring Dinah's wrath. They argue about shock therapy and she shows him
to the door.

Spaulding Business Meeting. More boring discourse. Alan claims Reva loves
his world where she never has to worry about being hungry again.

Spaulding Den: Enter Roger, ready to burgle the safe. Enter Amanda
downstairs for a midnight stroll.

Casa Reardon: Hart says Dinah is stupid to be jealous of Bridget. She
admits she's really worried about Vanessa. Finally he leaves.

Roadside: Vanessa tells Zachary she wants to pretend she died in her car
crash. Will he help her? (Tune in tomorrow.) Freeze frame.
