GUIDING LIGHT UPDATE FOR TUESDAY, AUGUST 15, 1995
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DID YOU SAY MUSSEL SHELL, MONTANA???
Leo Flynn is in Roger's suite explaining that Hart was last seen in
Montana. Roger fumes, wanting to know when and by whom. Leo says that
that's all he knows and it's more than Roger knew yesterday. Leo thinks
that Roger should just dump Dinah because there's no guarantee that Hart
will help Roger get Peter back since he hates Rog and doesn't know about
Petey. Roger shouts that he won't do that to Dinah as she and Zeke (what
the hell is his name?) walk in. Roger brushes Leo off and he leaves.
Dinah asks what they were talking about and Roger says it's not
important. Dinah insists saying she heard them and that it's about her.
Roger says that he doesn't want to hurt her and she demands that he tell
her saying that she has a right to know.

FROM DINAH TO DINER
Lucy, Alan Michael, Susan and Nick are sitting in a booth at the Diner
laughing, joking and having an uproarious conversation about dolls and
action figures of their childhood. Buzz and Nadine are watching them from
the counter area and Buzz looks merose. Nadine thinks that he is
thinking about the blonde mystery woman but Buzz says he's thinking
about Lucy. He can't believe that Lucy is yukking it up when her HIV status
is still unknown. Buzz says that it is tearing him apart and Nadine says
that's why Lucy didn't want him to know because she doesn't want to talk
about it. Buzz insists that she has to talk about it.

SHE AIN'T NO MRS. DOUBTFIRE!
A beefy, red-polished hand is seen putting a wig onto a styrofoam head
and taking a mini tape recorder out of a dresser drawer. "Marian" speaks
into the recorder in a clearly masculine (and eerily familliar) voice.
Creepy music is playing and "Marian" soloquises about her new job at
Spaulding which Alan Michael himself hired him for. She takes off her
earrings as she states that AM didn't show a flicker of recognition or a
moments hesitation in hiring her. She chuckles, saying that it couldn't
have gone any better and that "Lady Marion" won the day. She recalls AM
introducing her to his lovely, sweet, young Office Manager, Lucy who has
offered to help her with any problems she might have. Marion chuckles,
saying that she'll certainly take her up on that. Marion then grasps her
forehead and peels off the latex facial prosthesis she's wearing (losing
a Lee press-on in the process) to reveal.....Brent. "Welcome back to
Springfield, Brent." he greets his reflection in the mirror.

ROLL LIGHTHOUSE!!

SURPRISE! BUZZ AND NADINE ARE FIGHTING!
Buzz and Nadine are arguing in the kitchen. Buzz thinks that he should
talk to Lucy and try to get her through this rough time. He says that
the's her father and that she can't handle this alone. Nadine says that
she can and that he needs to trust her. She says the reason that Lucy
didn't want Buzz to know is because she knew he'd react this way. Buzz
says "God I love that girl so much..." Nadine says that that doesn't mean
he can run her life. Buzz says Lucy isn't running it, she's obviously in
denial because she's laughing. Nadine says she's just happy and that she
hasn't even had the test yet and won't know for months. Odds are she
doesn't have the virus anyway. Buzz says that the odds sometimes run
against you and Nadine calls him cynical. Buzz says he's not cynical,
just scared. Nadine says she's scared too but that they won't know for
awhile so all they can do is live with it and that's all Lucy can do too.
Buzz stalks out of the diner as Nadine offers the gleeful table refills
on their sodas. They accept the fill-ups and continue swapping funny
stories. Nick recalls a dinner out with Alan, Alex & AM where Alan got
into a fight with the Matre 'd so he bought the restaurant on the spot
just so he could fire the man. They all laugh at the folly and suddenly
Lucy shouts and grabs Alan Michael's glass saying "WOAH! That's mine!"
and spilling most of the beverage all over the two of them. AM apologizes
and jokes that he doesn't have any killer germs and Lucy grimaces and
runs from the table. AM starts to follow her but Susan offers to go see
what's wrong instead. With the women gone, Nick speculates that Lucy must
not be over what happened with Brent yet. AM says some days she is and
some days she isn't and that he doesn't know what he can do to help her
anymore.

BACK AT THE LEWIS/CHAMBERLAIN/JESSUP/THORPE/REARDON/DUTTON/MARLER PLACE...
The Pawn (formerly known as Peter) is being passed around for kisses and
Matt, Bill, Mom1 & Mom2 are lined up to receive them. Jet goes upstairs
to put Pawn to bed and the suddenly manly Bill asks if there is anything
wrong with Pete. Van says that everything is fine and Matt asks Bill if
he's already to go. Bill says that they are changing the subject and Van
says that they are worried about Dinah and are trying to figure out how
to get her away from Roger Thorpe. Bill says to count him in because
Roger is bad news and his dad is in jail because of the jerk. Bill,
showing his Lewisness, wants to stay and help fight Roger or at least try
to tell Dinah what a jerk he is. Van says she wants him to go to camp but
Bill says he doesn't want to leave knowing his sister is caught up in
Roger Thorpe's "crap." Matt puts his arm around Bill and takes him aside
telling him that Van is really proud of him being a junior counselor this
year and that he should go to camp for her. Bill asks Matt if he'll be at
the house and Matt says he will. Bill agrees to go only if Van promises
to call if she needs him. Van agrees and Bill goes off in search of his
tennis racket. Van embraces Matt wondering what she would do without him.
He says he won't give her a chance to find out promising that they'll get
through the Roger thing together.

HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE "NEIVE" IN FRENCH?
Back in Roger's suite, the camera focuses on Mr. I-auditioned-for-the-part-
of-new-david-after-monti-sharp-left-but-they-didn't-hire-me-then-but-liked-
me-and-kept-my-resume-on-file-later-creating-a-new-character-for-me-and-the-
updater-can't-even-remember-my-name-but-bet's-I'm-Vivian-Grant's-love-child-
from-her-wild-hippie-days standing in the doorway. He asks if everything
is allright and Dinah says yes and asks that he leave them alone. He
leaves saying she knows where to reach him. Dinah asks if what he & Leo
were discussing had to do with his meeting with her parents. He
reluctantly agrees that it did and she wants the scoop. He asks her to
sit down and explains Vanessa's threat about not letting him see his
grandson ever again if he didn't give her up. He carefully manipulates
the conversation so that it sounds like the only reason Dinah's family
opposes their involvement is because they can't control Dinah and they
don't understand the special relationship that she and Roger share. Dinah
can't believe that Van would stoop to using Peter and Roger says it just
proves how much Van cares for her. Dinah says that it's only because Van
is a control freak that she's done this and then says that Van cares about
Peter more than her. (I'd say the facts in evidence might dispute that
quantum leap!) Roger hugs her saying he's sorry and that he wanted to
spare her this pain. Dinah can't believe Jet would agree to such a thing
and Rog says he kept looking for some sign of sense, loyality & caring
from Jet but that Van's brainwashed her too. Dinah says that this makes
her sick and asks what Roger said. He claims that he was too stunned to
say anything. Dinah compares the "song and dance" Vanessa gave her about
having to choose between her release and Matt's when they were kidnapped
and Van forcing Rog to choose between she and Peter. Dinah says that
Roger can't give up his own son's child and Roger says he can't give her
up either. Dinah is astonished to think that Roger would give up his own
flesh and blood to be with her but he says that he doesn't have a choice.
They embrace and Dinah says "Oh Roger! Roger! You really do care about
me!" He claims to care about her more than she'll ever know and says he's
going to go tell Vanessa of his choice. Dinah begs him to let her go
instead because she wants to see the look on Van's face when she tells
her how much she means to him. After she's left Roger smiles and says to
himself: "Some things are just too easy!"

IN THE ALLEY WHERE DAVID KILLED VINNIE
Susan finds Lucy and asks if she's okay. Lucy says she is but doesn't
know what's the matter with her. Susan says that she freaked because AM
was about to drink out of her glass and jokes that if people got HIV from
sharing drinking glasses that the whole world would be sick or dead.
(Besides, weren't you two making out at the Country Club pool last week?)
Lucy says that she knows but that she's afraid that she's going to give
it to him some other way. Susan points out that she doesn't even know if
she has it and Lucy says that not knowing is worse. Susan jokes that
knowing is a little worse because you tend to lose hope. Lucy apologizes
for being so insensitive. Susan tells her to stop beating herself up for
the way she feels - it's hard no matter how you look at it. Lucy asks her
what she would do and Susan says the same thing she's doing now, getting
the most out of life because it's the only one you have, not focusing on
the past and keeping the facts straight. For those of you who didn't get
the facts when Eleni, Lillian and Nadine recited them, Susan helpfully
repeats them again: People get HIV by: having unprotected sex with
someone who has the virus, sharing needles, or having direct contact with
HIV infected blood, THAT'S ALL. (For more information contact your local
Red Cross or the National AIDS Information Hot Line at 1-800-342-AIDS.)
(Whattya' bet Nick decided to do a big story about Susan and/or Living
with AIDS?) Lucy says she doesn't do any of those things and Susan says
she won't give it to anyone if God forbid, she does have the virus. Lucy
asks Susan how she handles it and Susan says she crys a lot for herself
but that she's not going to give up on her life. Lucy admits to not
having told Am yet and Susan encourages her to do so. Lucy admits to not
knowing how he'll take the news and Susan says there's only one way to
find out.

THIS PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO YOU BY MICHAEL H.
JORDAN AND ALL OF US HERE AT WESTINGHOUSE/CBS TV!
Alan Michael starts to go after Lucy and Nick stops him suggesting that
they let Susan talk to her. They discuss how nice Susan seems and her HIV
status. They speculate that perhaps the fact that Susan is HIV+ has upset
Lucy. Buzz walks in and hears what they are discussing. Buzz tries to get
AM alone, presumably to talk about Lucy's HIV fears but Nadine stops him
by making up an excuse about the refrigerator being broken. Buzz counters
by saying a lot of things around there are broken, namely his car (did
you fix the gas gague yet, Buzzard?) He tries to solicit AM's help in
fixing it but AM says he's lousy with cars. Instead, Nick offers to take
a look at it and the two Spauldings exit together. Inside, Deenie accuses
Buzz of trying to get AM alone to tell him about Lucy. He says that if
Lucy won't tell him he will and Nadine tells him that he needs to give
Lucy a chance to do it herself. Buzz doesn't make any promises and
follows Nick & AM outside.

MARION FROM PHYCHO? YUP! RIGHT ON THE MONEY!
Brent, now shirtless, is again pontificating into the tape recorder. His
wounded area is visible and still bandaged. The spooky music is again
playing as he dictates what he calls "Chapter two of the deep-down & dirty
heart-tugging, tell-all memoirs of a man done wrong who's about to make it
right." It seems like they're trying to achieve a split personality thing
here by the way he refers to himself at time as "Brent" and at others as
"Lady Marion." He also occasionally addresses the wig & mask as Marion.
As a whole, these scenes are very creepy and paint a very disturbing
picture of Brent. The way he talks to himself, the tape recorder, the
mirror, "Lucy" and "Marion" is really disquieting. Also, he's removed the
15 pounds of latex he's been heafting around as well as the makeup and
panty hose and he's still sweating profusely. (The bad guys always seem
to!) He says that his fears about Lucy & AM were unfounded because they
are so caught up in their own little world that they don't notice the
little people in their lives. He discribes, with disgust how AM is ow
"king of his own little corporate empire" and how "that little tease,
Lucy" is ga-ga over him and falling at his feet. He mocks the fact that
they are "in love or whatever they want to call that sick, sophomoric
infatuation they have with each other." He says that he wants Lucy & AM
to soar with happiness before he "pays them back."

HALFTIME! (Everyone help themselves to a tasty snack or beverage!)

DINAH WON'T YOU BLOW, DINAH WON'T YOU BLOW, DINAH WON'T YOU BLOW YER OWN HORN
The doorbell rings at the mostly-Lewises house where Jet, Matt & Van are
assembled. (Seems Bill is still hunting for his raquet.) Surprise!
Instead of Roger, it's Dinah. Jet greets her with a fond "Oh great, it's
her." (Like you'd rather see pissed-off Grandpa Roger?) Vanessa accosts
her with questions about her well being assuming Roger has harmed her
somehow. Dinah retorts with a snappy "Like you care, mother." And
Matchomatchomatt asks her if she came just to insult her mother. Dinah,
smiling, wonders why they are all allowed to insult her and Jet says that
she's tried very hard to like Dinah but that she makes it very difficult.
Dinah retorts that Jet shouldn't bother because she doesn't like her and
doesn't try. Jet smiles broadly and through her gritted teeth says "Okay,
Matt, looks like it's your turn to get zapped." Vanessa calls for order
and asks Dinah what's up. Dinah explains how she knows all about their
"pitiful ploy" to keep she & Roger apart and says that it won't work.
She repeats the "Roger is the only one who cares about me" saga and Van
plays the old "Roger Thorpe is evil" broken record once more. Jet pipes
up that she's seen Rog do some pretty bad stuff and Dinah says it's can't
be any worse than Jet trying to use his own grandson against him. Matt
tells her she's wrong, as usual and Dinah asks how Van managed to snow
him after Roger saved his life. Matt says it was only because her mother
swallowed her pride and asked for his help.

"Mother?!?" shouts Dinah, "I never had a mother. And I never will. I have
Roger."

Vanessa thinks she doesn't know what she's saying but Dinah goes on about
how much Roger loves & respects her and how he'd never give her up or
abandon her. Vanessa is agahst and begs Dinah to tell her she's not
fallen in love with Roger. Dinah asks Vanessa what she thinks they've
been doing together: "Did you think it was just sex?" Vanessa says no
that she thought Dinah was just deliberately trying to hurt she & Ross.
Dinah laughs and says that Vanessa thinks Roger can't love her because
she can't: "You probably don't think anyone can."

"I LOVE LUCY" STARRING BUZZ, ALAN MICHAEL & NICK
The three are peering under the hood of Buzz's car and Buzz asks AM what
he thinks. AM says that he's not much of a mechanic and quips that he
thought Buzz said Spauldings don't fix things, they hire their solutions.
Nick laughs saying truer words were never spoken and Buzz asks him if he
knows anything more about cars than his cousin. Nick takes a look and
Buzz & AM walk a few steps away from the car together. Buzz mumbles a
pseudo-apology about how he needs to watch what he says now that AM and
his daughter are getting so close. AM says that neither he or Lucy would
like that and Buzz suggests that they should try to get better acquainted
for Lucy's sake. AM says he'll take a stab at it if Buzz will. Nick asks
Buzz for a volt meter and Buzz heads off to find one. Nick & AM joke that
Buzz is a piece of work just like his car. AM says that he has everyhing
he ever wanted: he's turning Spaulding into something good that he can be
proud of and leave behind and, as he puts it, "I love Lucy." (I can't
help but giggle whenever someone says that and they do it 2 or 3 times
today!) Nick wonders why it sounds like there's a "but" in there and AM
says because he hasn't found a way to help Lucy. Nick reminds him that
Lucy's been through a hard time and when someone hurts you you can't just
say "One, two, three, sign on the dotted line and it's all over." AM
guesses that Nick is talking about Mindy (a sign that she must be coming
back soon) and Nick says that he's talking and thinking about her less
these days. "I am getting better, see, " says Nick, "And I do know
something about Spaulding, Michael." AM raises an eyebrow and asks Nick
what he called him. Nick says that he thinks he should drop the "Alan"
from his name and just go by "Michael" now that he's dropped Alan from
the company and his life. AM looks intrigued and says he'll think about
it. Nick reminds him that something happens to people who sit in the
President's chair at Spaulding and cautions him to make sure it doesn't
come between him & what he wants.

YADDA YADDA YADDA
*I feel like a jerk for being impatient with this HIV/AIDS storyline, but
I'd rather see Sonya come out after the show (instead of "Tell us what
you think for $.95 a minute!") and give a public service announcement
like Lillian did with the Breast Cancer storyline. I hate them beating us
over the head with this!*
Lucy tells Susan that she wouldn't blame AM if he never wanted to see her
again after he finds out. Susan makes a bunch of corny jokes about
different people's reactions to finding out and they both laugh. Susan
says it's better to laugh about it than cry and Lucy tells Susan she's
brave. Susan says she's really not and that sometimes it's really awful
and lonely. She says she wishes she had someone to hold her when she gets
scared. She says she feels jealous of people planning their lives and
says she doesn't feel like it's fair for her to even have a cat. She
explains how she always wonders when she'll start having symptoms...
Thanksgiving? Christmas? New Years? She says every time she gets a "zit"
she thinks it's her first carpoci sarcoma (sp?) Lucy admits to not having
known anyone with "it" before. Susan tells he it's okay to say "it"
outloud and that if the man she loves is going to turn away from her
because of the HIV virus it's better to know now. Lucy nods.

YADDA YADDA YADDA2
Vanessa tells Dinah to stop twisting everything she says. "You father
loves you, I love you, hundreds of me could love you (and probably have)
but Rogerthorpe can't love you because he can't love anyone." exclaims
Vanessa. Dinah & Vanessa do their usual sparring and Dinah says that she
calls Roger giving up any hope of ever seeing his grandson love. Matt
asks if she & Roger rehearsed this and Jet tells her that Roger is just
using her. Dinah says she volunteered to come because they want to wash
their hands of all of them. Matt asks if that's Rog's final decision and
Dinah says Rog wants to be with her because he loves her. Vanessa says
that he doesn't love her and suggests that Dinah talk to Holly to find
out what it's like to be "loved" by Rogerthorpe and what price you have
to pay. At that, Bill walks in, having found his tennis raquet. "Bill!"
exclaims Dinah, rushing to embrace him, "You are my only friend in this."

"No I'm not you silly little bitch!" smirks Bill. He raises his raquet
and pummels her mercilessly screaming about his smoker's cough and his
father being in prison because of Rogerthorpe.

WHOOPS! Sorry, brief fantasy sequence there...
Actually, Bill glowers at her and tells her she's not going to have any
friends if she keeps hanging around with Rogerthorpe. Dinah frowns and
turns to leave. Vanessa chases after her shouting "Wait! Dinah wait!
Rogerthorpe is going to ruin your life!"

YA' GOTTA' HAVE HART! ALL YOU REALLY NEED IS HART!
Roger is again questioning Leo about Hart's whereabouts when MARCUS
(TAH-DAH! GIVE THE LADY A CIGAR!) knocks on the door. Rog tells him
that Dinah's not there but Marcus says he'll wait and lets himself in.
Leo leaves and Roger asks Marcus to tell him about himself. "What's to
tell?" asks Marcus, "Here I am."

"With what hopes, dreams, ambitions?" asks Roger.

"Ah-ha" laughs Marcus, "You first."

"Alright, " says Roger with a smirk, "I'm a simple man. I want to live
happily ever after with a lovely woman, raise a family and die with the
goodwill of the community and my name on every lip." (LOL!)

Marcus laughs outloud and says "That's a crock, c'mon."

"Your turn." says Roger.

"You know, we don't have to play it like this." states Marcus. "I know
you don't like me hanging around here."

Roger says that Marcus shouldn't make assumptions and Marcus says he's
only hanging around because Dinah asked him to. Rog thinks it's good for
Dinah to have a friend her own age to keep her entertained when he takes
care of business. Marcus wonders if Rog means keep her out of the way.

A (THANKFULLY BRIEF) PITY PARTY
Lucy asks Susan what kind of life it will be if she tells AM what she's
afraid of and he stays with her out of pity.

SO, TELL ME YOUNG MAN, DO YOU EARN A COMFORTABLE INCOME? DOES YOUR
COMPANY HAVE A GOOD HEALTH CARE PLAN? 401K? DENTAL?
Buzz is rooting around under the hood and asks AM what his plans are.
Nick translates that this is Buzz's way of asking what AM's intentions
are with his daughter. AM quips that "UG" works too and Buzz says he
wants to know about AM's plans for the future. AM says that he doesn't
see one without Lucy. "Well, you know the future..." starts Buzz,
trailing off. He then directs Nick to get a wrench from the kitchen.
Alone, Buzz asks "Where were we?"

"I dunno Buzz, just where the hell are we going with all of this?" asks AM

THAT'S LIFE
Lucy pounds on a big can/drum thingy in the alleyway expressing her
frustration about AM staying with her out of pity. Susan asks how she
thinks she may have been exposed. Lucy explains about the rape and Susan
asks how AM dealt with that. Lucy says he was really wonderful and Susan
says that should be an indication of how he would react to this news.
"It's just not fair!" laments Lucy and asks Susan if she would tell him if
she were in Lucy's shoes. Susan says that Lucy has to make that decision
herself and goes back into the diner. Lucy looks distraught.

I THINK PINK IS MORE YOUR COLOR...
Marion is doing her nails (blood red) and complaining about how much work
it is to keep up appearances. The spooky music plays as he philosophizes
about how he's going to pay back everyone who tried to ruin him,
beginning with the "white trash" Coopers. He fumes about how they tried
to run him out of town based on the word of their "home grown little
slut, Lucy." At saying her name he screws up a nail and screams "LUCY!
Look what you made me do! Lucy!" Instead of finding some polish remover
and a cotton ball he goes a little nuts and screams, hurling the polish
across the room. It smashes against the morror leaving a gory red streak
running down. The camera focuses on Brent's distorted reflection and the
blood-red polish dripping slowly down the mirror.

(followed closely by the disturbing image of those duracel battery people!)

BUZZ IS SEEMINGLY DISASSEMBLING HIS CAR PIECE BY PIECE
Buzz tells AM that they like to think that the worst is over but
sometimes it never is. AM thinks that Lucy has worked thruogh things
pretty well and Buzz says that it's thanks to AM. AM says the name of
the first show with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and that he wants to be
with Lucy. Buzz starts to say more but Nick comes out saying he's taking
Susan home. AM asks where Lucy is and Susan says she'll be out in a second.
AM asks if she's okay and Susan suggests that he go ask her. He leaves.
Susan tells "Mr. Cooper" that she had a nice time and Nick
presumptiously tells her that everyone calls him Buzz. Nick tells Buzz to
check his gas level because he's running on empty and Buzz tells him he doesn't
know the half of it. They say their goodbyes and Nadine comes out chiding
Buzz for pulling a plug out of the car to get AM alone. They kiss briefly
and he leaves.

NOTHING UP MY SLEEVE AND...PRESTO!
Jet, Matt & Van are arguing about having Peter in the middle of their war
with Roger. Jet thinks Rog wouldn't give Peter up so easily and that he
must have something else up his sleeve. Vanessa suggests that she take
Pete with her on a business trip to Paris for "a few weeks" for safety.
She wants to keep him away from Roger just in case Rog tries anything
(like he did with Chrissy?) Jet doesn't like the idea of them going
without her but Van says that if Jet left it would tip Roger off.

ROGER'S AFFAIRS
Marcus & Rog discuss Marcus keeping Dinah busy while Roger attends to his
affairs. Marcus says he'll do anything for Dinah. Dinah comes in crying
about her family and how much the confrontation with them hurt. Roger
hugs her and Dinah says all they have left is each other.

WE CAN'T TAKE ANY CHANCES WITH PAWN.
Jet, Matt & Van continue arguing about taking Peter to Paris the
following day (the kid has a passport?) Matt sides with Vanessa who says
"We can't take any chances with Peter, we just can't. Roger is going to
do something and soon." (She didn't mind using him before.) Foreboding
music plays.

I LOVE HIM! I LOVE HIM! I LOVE HIM! AND WHERE HE GOES I'LL FOLLOW...
Dinah & Rog excuse Marcus and Dinah tells Rog all about the confrontation
w/ Vanessa and how she defended Roger saying that she loved him and he
loved him. Roger looks startled and says "You love me?" Dinah says yes
and asks if that's not what he wanted, for them to be together. Roger
stammers: "Why else would I have done all this?" Dinah repeats that she
loves him and that she will be with him always, no matter what. Roger
tells her that she takes his breath away as they embrace. "Wonderful,
wonderful." repeats Roger.

I AIN'T KARMAC, LUCY...
AM finds Lucy in the alley and tells her he can't read her mind and
gently asks her what's bothering her. Lucy says it's about what Brent did
to her. Even though he's dead it's not over.

LUCY! YOU REEELY DONE IT NOW!
Creepy Brent rubs his fingers in the wet polish smeared on the mirror. He
cuts his finger on the glass and screams: "Do you see this Lucy? Do you
see what you've done? This is my blood! Mine! You did this! You made this
blood flow! AM put a bullet in me but it was you...." he continued
ranting about what Lucy and her "lies" have done to him and breathing
heavily, puts his head in his hands. Suddenly he sits up and seems to
"shake it off." He shakes his head back and forth and regains his
composure. In his "Marian" voice he says "Marian is hungry." He stands
and says "She'd better get going to the diner." He chuckles and says "She
just loves that diner food." Smiling, he goes and carefully selects a
becoming dress to wear to meet the Coopers.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!
