"I'd rather die and have my bones bleached by the sun than get
into an enclosed area with you!"
-- Alexandra Spaulding to Roger Thorpe

SOME DESERTED ISLAND:
----------------------

It is storming. Matt sets up some blankets in a fairly sheltered
spot. He carries an unconscious Vanessa to the safe spot and
starts mouth to mouth on her. She starts breathing on her own
after a few minutes. Later, Vanessa is asleep by a fire. Matt
comes back from exploring the island and tells the still
unconscious Vanessa that the island appears to be deserted. He
tells her he needs to get her out of her clothes because she's
soaked, and proceeds to start undressing her. Later still, we see
Vanessa still unconscious by the fire, with her clothes hanging on
sticks by the fire, drying. Matt lies down next to her apparently
nude body.

JENNA'S HOTEL ROOM:
--------------------

Jenna is getting dressed. She finds a copy of "Wealth" magazine
and she's on the cover. As she looks, Alan steps in from the
balcony telling her that the magazine could be true in the future
if she wants it badly enough. Jenna looks only mildly shocked.
Alan comments she's more attractive in person than in her photo.
He sees her looking for the phone and tells her he had them removed
because he knew meeting him this way would be alarming, but that it
was necessary. She wants to know how he got in and he says he's
been in her room many times. She wants to know who he is. He's
surprised she doesn't know him-- hasn't she seen pictures of him
anywhere? She nervously says maybe she does recall him from
somewhere. He says his name isn't important. Jenna figures out
that Alan must have paid her hotel bill and he tells her he gave
her the diamond necklace. She thinks he's working for Rog, which
Alan quickly denies. Jenna doesn't believe him. Alan gets angry
and tells her to never compare him again to her ex-husband. Alan
tells Jenna he's with a foreign consortium looking to take over
Spaulding and they are interested in J's help b/c she has had
recent experience in running Spaulding (yeah, right) and she has no
loyalty to Alex. When Alan succeeds in taking over Spaulding,
he'll give her back her cosmetics business that Alex took away, and
give it to her in a much better financial state. In return, Jenna
will be his contact with Springfield's citizens ("I need someone to
be my eyes, my ears, and on occasion my voice") Jenna best suits
his needs. Jenna looks surprised.

Jenna tells him his offer is tempting, but she doesn't trust anyone
anymore. She's dealt with too many con-men. She gets angry and
tells him to leave before she starts screaming. He tells her she
won't. She asks if he's threatening her. He tells her he expected
a refusal the first time around, but that he knows she'll end up
agreeing to help him. He give her a gift and tells her he'll be
back. As he leaves, he tells her he knows her secret. She slams
the door behind him, locking it. She throws the present in the
garbage and pours herself a drink. She stops before she drinks it,
remembering she's pregnant. She frantically rips open the present
and finds a pair of baby booties.

DINER:
-------

Outside, Nadine (who is wearing a hideous chartreuse dress) wants
to know what they should tell the family about why Buzz said they
were married on the gameshow. Buzz says they'll understand if they
tell the truth. They enter the diner to a party for them. The
whole family and many 5th street neighbors are there. Eleni stand
off, looking concerned. Stavros comes in with a wedding cake.
Everyone thinks they're really married. Lucy is very happy because
she can now call Nadine "mom", though she's felt that way for a
long time. She's glad Buzz "stopped being stubborn and admitted
what we all knew." Frank gives a toast to Mr. and Mrs. Buzz
Cooper. Eleni tells Buzz on the side that she thinks it's terrible
that they are letting everyone think they're married and if they
don't tell, she will. Buzz asks everyone but family to leave
(David is allowed to stay, since he's one of the family) and tells
the family that he and Nadine lied to stay on the gameshow. The
family isn't surprised; they decided to have a reception for them
just in case. Buzz tells them someone called the station to ask if
they were married and who Nadine Lewis was, so they had to lie.
David says it's OK, because people think they're married whether it
is legal or not and that they were the best thing on the show. He
points out it would be stupid to let a technicality keep them from
the show. Frank and Lucy agree and they decide not to tell the
friends that they're not married. Eleni reluctantly goes along
with everyone saying "If Frankie's happy, then I am happy" (barf!).
The whole family agrees.

Later, the party breaks up, leaving Buzz and Nadine alone. Nadine
says it is the most awful thing that ever happened to her. She
feels like a cheat, lying to everyone (oh, so NOW she's getting a
conscience! I guess she only needs one when it is convenient...).
She says it all seems like a really bad joke, except that it is not
funny. Buzz says he's starting to believe that marriage is
forever. He says something about her gets to him. He says he
loves her and always will. If that isn't wedded in some way, what
is? (Don't believe him, Nadine!!!) He wasn't lying or joking.
Nadine says she only feels like a partial fake then.

THE BRIDGET/DYLAN STORYLINE:
-----------------------------

Bridget turns down Ed's offer of the Boarding House for her
birthday present. She says she can't take it because it is her
dream and she needs to pay her dues before she can get it. Ed
tells her it is her house -- she's the proper Reardon to take it.
She has turned it into a home. He says he talked to the family--
Tony, Nola, Chelsea, Jim (??), her mom and dad and they are all for
it. Bridget agrees to take it and Dylan looks upset. After Eve
retrieves Ed, Dylan tells her he's happy for her. David (before he
goes over to the Diner) tells Dylan he has to tell Bridget his
surprise. Dylan asks Bridget to go for a ride with him.

Later, out in the wilderness, Dylan informs Bridget that where they
are is on land that Reva left to him. He only recently got it from
Josh, who has finally admitted she's really gone (That's it... Kim
Zimmer/Reva is bound to be coming back now!). Bridget says it
would be great for camping and fishing except it's a bit creepy
since there aren't really any houses around. She sees a cleared
away spot where someone will have a great view. Dylan
agrees...that's where he's decided to build. Bridget thinks he's
going to develop it. Dylan says he wants to build a few houses
that people just starting out can afford. He point out the fourth
lot, which he's saving for David. He then points out the fifth
lot, next to the Oak tree, that he's reserved for himself and
Bridget.

Meanwhile, back at Company, Ed catches Eve snacking on Bridget's
birthday cake. Eve reassures Ed that Bridget was happy with the
house and is good with responsibilities. Ed says he feels like he
now has no responsibilities since Michelle is at summer camp,
leaving him and Eve alone in the house. He reminds Eve of the
proverb "When the kids are away, the adults get to play." Eve is
amused, but tells him she's got to be the practical one. While the
offer to run off to her boyfriend's pad is tempting, they've
promised Bridget they'll wait with Peter. She suggests they check
out the nice kitchen though....

Dylan says he plans to build 4 houses and then the 5th one for
himself. He thought it would be awhile before he could afford to,
but now that he's building a house for Nick and Mindy, he'll have
the money. He explains to Bridget that's why he's been talking
about their relationship so seriously, and why he's not as excited
about her getting the boarding house. Bridget says she thinks of
it as her family home. Dylan says he wants her to feel loved and
safe with him, not just with the boarding house. Dylan is upset
and Bridget tells him he can still build the homes, even without
her.

SIDE OF SOME DESERTED ROAD IN SPRINGFIELD:
------------------------------------------

Roger and Leo Flynn (who is wearing an all-black catburglar outfit
and sporting a beard) set up a trap for Alex on a deserted road she
uses as a shortcut to the airport. Rog asks Leo when he's going to
get rid of the beard, but Leo actually stands up to him and says
even though he sometimes does Rog's bidding, he has his own life
and the beard is staying! Rog has Leo call Alex's house to find
out when she left and which car she's driving. Ben answers, and
when Leo asks where his mother is, Ben tells him she's dead. Leo
thinks it is Alex who is dead :). Rog takes the phone and pretends
to be "Larry" from "L & R Auto." Ben tells him Alex left already
in the little red Mercedes. However, when Ben hangs up, Alex has
returned for her wallet.

Meanwhile, Rog and Leo spring into action. Rog has Leo get some
tacks ready, tosses him two burlap sacks, and tells him to open the
"little sack." Leo opens a bigger one and gets bitten by a nasty
looking black snake. Rog reassures Leo that the venom sacs have
been removed. The plan is that Alex will get a flat tire on the
tacks they've left in the road, and Rog will stop to help her.
When he does that, Leo is to release the snake so that Rog can
"rescue" Alex and steal her gold bracelet at the same time. Rog
will leave the bracelet in the road for Leo to retrieve when Rog
takes her to the service station. They hear a car coming and hear
it get a flat tire. Rog leaves to help Alex and Leo nervously
waits with the snake while sucking on his bitten hand.

Alex gets out of her car, pissed (it doesn't look like a red car to
me...). She doesn't have a car phone and decides to change the
tire herself (she's wearing a business suit and heels :)). Leo
watches from the bushes. She sees a car approach and flags it
down. She's happy until she sees it is Rog. She's suspicious of
the "coincidence" of meeting Rog. As Alex complains about her tire
to Rog, we see Leo back in the bushes frantically looking for the
snake he's supposed to release (he gingerly pokes around in the
leaves with a stick :)). The snake slithers away, unseen by Leo.
Rog offers to drive Alex to a service station, but she refuses "I'd
rather die and have my bones bleached by the sun than get into an
enclosed area with you!" :D. Rog says his car phone is on the
blink and is amazed by her "mangled" tire. Alex is suspicious of
his act. Rog says he has everything he needs and wants in his
family, but Alex says she knows he still wants Spaulding. Rog lays
it on thick, trying to sweet talk her. She doesn't buy it, and
tells him to change her tire if he's so full of good will. She
hands him the keys to the trunk and Rog glances about, looking for
the snake.

Roger finishes changing the tire as leo continues to look for the
snake. Alex: "I should thank you, shouldn't I? But I think I'll
just express my gratitude by not running you over the next time I
see you in a crosswalk!" :D. Rog glances about nervously, and Alex
wants to know what he did to the tire. She can hear it hissing...

Cut to a shot of the snake slithering along. The final shot is
from the snake's perspective as it slithers along (my husband was
quite amused by this little camera trick...).

That's it!
