CASSIE'S ROOM: As Dinah looks under the bed for Sean, he comes up behind
her & warns her not to mess with him. He knows she wants to cause
trouble between Hart & Cassie. Dinah thinks Sean is involved with Cassie
& offers to turn him in to the police. Sean calls her bluff & Dinah
backs down.

LEWIS HOUSE: Josh & Reva try to figure out how to get Dolly out of
Alan's clutches. Josh feels guilty about Michael's death. And the clone
has fallen into the worst possible hands. Alan will probably charge
admission to see her. Josh has an idea & asks Reva to come with him.

SPAULDING MANSION: Alan pours a couple of glasses of champagne while he
inquires about Dolly's sleep. She found the silk sheets to be slippery.
She asks why Nettie won't bring her a newspaper. Alan says he doesn't
want her bothered by the humdrum occurrences in the everyday world. [In
other words, he doesn't want her to know that Michael is dead.] Alan
asks if Dolly understands the difference between rich & poor. Dolly
senses that Alan is patronizing her & wants to know the real deal right
now, or else she's out the door.

Alan says Dolly is free as a bird, but his offer is to make her rich if
she teams up with him. He wants everyone to know how special she is.
When Dolly starts to put on her red wig, Alan stops her. He says she
doesn't have to hide anymore. The world should know the real Dolly. She
asks if she's as irresistible as Reva. Alan says she's a vast
improvement. He promises to make her the most famous woman on earth.
Dolly laughs in delight.

SPAULDING ENTERPRISES: Vanessa finishes a call with Cassie as Matt
enters. She runs into his arms. He knows she's upset about Michael, but
she's been at the office all night. Van says Michael saved her life, but
she couldn't do the same for him. But she intends to get some
vindication for him. She says Vicki stole Michael's research & tried to
use it for evil, but Matt points out that Alan was in charge. He can't
understand why Van wants to work at Spaulding. Van says she has to fix
things, for her father's sake. She intends to start with Vicki.

COMPANY: David joins Vicki at a table. Vicki is agonizing over Michael's
death. David offers to listen to her troubles. She admits that she used
questionable methods to get ahead, and now she feels awful about it.

Drew approaches Jesse at the counter & asks why he won't talk to the
gallery owner. Jesse doesn't want her to buy anyone off for him. Drew
says the dealer wouldn't take her money because he really thought Jesse
was talented. Jesse thinks she's just scheming to get him into bed.

David admits to Vicki that he's been trying to find out what she was up
to with Alan, and he was working for Josh. Vicki can't get over being
the cause of Michael's death. She cared about him. David says Alan is a
lowlife & asks why he's so important to Vicki.

SPAULDING MANSION: Alan is amazed by Dolly. She's like a work of art, a
tribute to her creator. Dolly doesn't think Michael wants any more of
her. Alan says Michael had a change of heart & is now working for him.
He asks what it's like to be an exact replica of someone else. Dolly
says at first she didn't believe Josh when he said she would feel just
like Reva, but then it started to happen.

Alan asks if Dolly fell for Josh right away. Dolly figures out that
Alan's only interested in her as a guinea pig in his quest to clone
Annie. Dolly tells him to stay away from her.

CASSIE'S ROOM: Dinah is sure that Sean & Cassie have something going
one. Hart will find out soon enough. She picks up the phone & calls
WSPR, threatening to expose Sean. When he hears her announce herself as
Dinah Marler, he grabs the phone from her, realizing that it was her
stepmother who was allegedly raped by Ben Warren. Dinah says Ben
railroaded her dad. Sean says Ben did the same to him.

COMPANY: Beth drags Ben into Company for a meal. Everyone stares, so he
gets up & offers to buy everyone an order of fried cheesesticks. Ben
worries that Beth will ruin her reputation by hanging out with him. She
refuses to desert him after how he tried to help her & Lizzie. He was
totally selfless & she's sure he's done other good things. "Like loving
Blake?" he asks. No, says Beth. She's paralyzed in a hospital bed, and
he is partially to blame because of his obsession with her. Ben refuses
to accept any responsibility for this. Beth says he drove Ross to shoot
Blake.

David wonders why Vicki wants to impress Alan. Vicki says she's trying
to prove something to her family.

SPAULDING MANISON: Alan says he has no intention of exploiting Dolly. He
is so impressed with her that he now knows cloning Annie is a great
idea. Dolly is superior to Reva, therefore, Annie's clone will be
superior to Annie. Dolly denies that she's better than the original, but
Alan disagrees. Dolly asks why she should trust Alan over Josh. Alan
says Josh wants to hide her, but Alan wants to tell the world about her.
Dolly asks if she can really have anything she wants. Alan says yes.
Dolly likes the idea of having more & better than Reva.

SPAULDING ENTERPRISES: Vanessa says Vicki sold Michael down the river.
But she feels like she also let Michael down because she didn't have
much time for him. Matt urges Van to come home & hold Maureen. Van needs
to hold on to her anger to vindication Michael. She promises to be home
early. Matt leaves, not pleased.

An assistant delivers an envelope to Van. She checks out the contents &
thinks it will interest Alan.

COMPANY: Vicki says she's going to quit. She realizes that she doesn't
want what she thought she did. David admits that he didn't ask her out
only for Josh. As she leaves, Vicki is fired up to confront Alan.

Drew admits that she wants Jesse, and adds that she's great in the sack.
But, she insists, the gallery owner really is interested in Jesse's
work. So he should follow up & become a star. Jesse says he's doing fine
on his own. Drew urges Jesse to admit that he's attracted to her. Jesse
says she's attractive, but he's committed to Michelle. Drew is
unimpressed & offers him a test drive.

Beth wants Ben to see the reality--that Blake loves Ross, despite
whatever passion she may have felt for Ben. Ben is sure that Blake's
refusal to accuse him of rape is only the beginning of a beautiful
relationship. No one will ruin it, not even Sean. Ben explains that Sean
blames him for a messy divorce. Beth warns Ben against being
overconfident.

CASSIE'S ROOM: Dinah says that Ben definitely raped Blake & that's why
her dad is in jail. Sean hates the way Ben always gets someone else to
take the fall for him. Dinah & Sean find themselves in agreement. Dinah
intends to bury Ben. Sean offers to help. His first suggestion is that
Dinah use her feminine wiles on Ben, but she points out that Ben is her
half-uncle, which could make thinks awkward. Sean urges Dinah to make
Ben think she's on his side. If she wears a wire & gets Ben to admit
what he did to Sean, they can establish a patter of deceit. Then Sean
will testify against Ben & prove that Ben is capable of rape. Dinah
declines the partnership offer.

SPAULDING MANSION: Reva knocks furiously at the door. When Alan opens
it, she insists that she's Dolly, escaped from the clutches of the
Lewises. Alan asks who's in his living room, then. Reva says Dolly is
Reva, spying on Alan. Dolly insists that she's Dolly. Reva asks if Alan
is sure he's got the right one. Alan waffles momentarily. Suddenly, Josh
rushes in & grabs Dolly. Reva runs after them as Alan yells for
security.

Vicki shows up in the middle of Alan's furor & says she's a witness to
his criminal acts. Alan says he's holding Vicki responsible for all
their losses. Vicki says her biggest mistake was believing in him.
Vanessa breezes in, unsure which of them is the bigger liar. She asks
why Vicki is really in Springfield. Van did some digging & her
suspicions were right on the money. Vicki's secrets caused Alan's death.

LEWIS HOUSE: Dolly tugs on her red wig & yells that she hates Josh &
Reva. She says they've kidnapped her & Alan will save her. Josh says
Alan will just turn her into a lab rat. Dolly doesn't believe this. She
thinks Josh just wants to control her. Josh says Alan Just wants to use
her. That's why Michael is dead. Dolly doesn't believe that Michael is
dead. Josh shows her the newspaper & she starts crying.

CASSIE'S ROOM: Dinah agrees to work with Sean to take down Ben, but only
if Sean will come on to Cassie. Sean refuses. Finally, Dinah agrees with
no strings. She asks if Sean really killed his wife. Sean replies by
asking if Dinah really slept with Rob Layne & is carrying his baby. "We
understand each other," says Sean.

COMPANY: Ben tells Beth that Sean will just have to wait until he deals
with more pressing matters.

Jesse gets up to leave & tells Drew to stop trying to make his life
better. She says she already called a friend who works in magazines.
Jesse tells her to stop. She kisses him on the cheek & walks away.

SPAULDING MANSION: Alan tells Vicki to get out. "Is that any way to
treat family?" asks Vanessa. She introduces Alan to his niece. "Vicki is
every bit as much of a Spaulding as you are," she says.

LEWIS HOUSE: Dolly cries when she realizes she'll never see Michael
again. She thinks it's all her fault & cries on Josh's shoulder as the
screen fades to black.
