ALAN-MICHAEL: local pub & Journal
AM is at a bar trying to bribe Fisk, a security guard for
the prison where Big A was held.
AM thinks Fisk is on pops payroll and wants to know
where he is and why his release is being kept a secret.
Fisk: That's just where you wanted him, isn't it?
 Locked up?
(Fisk returns AM's bribe money)

AM offers to double what Big A is paying him. Fisk gives a
disgusted look to AM and tells him he would never take $$
to betray Big A. He tells AM of how his father saved his life
in a prison up rising. AM asks agin for the info, and the guard
finally admits he doesn't know. He speaks highly of Big A's
character and comments on how the Spaulding clan doesn't
seem to know what kind of man he is.
Fisk: If he wants to get in touch with you he will.
(Fisk leaves)
AM looks pensive.

(at The Journal)
AM is at a computer terminal trying to compose a letter.
"Father," is all he has come up with. Enter Tangie, whose
computer is connected with the one AM is using. She asks
AM why it says "father" on her screen. AM jumps down
her throat- questioning why she has a key to the office and
how she got the job with no skills. He then accuses Tangie
of reporting to Roger. Tangie has had it.
Tangie: Exscuse me? But what exactly is your problem?

AM apologizes. He tells her he's a little on edge about
writing to his father and doesn't know what to say.
"It's hard to have a father you can't be proud of" Tangie
says trying to comfort him. But AM claims pride for his f
ather and shame for putting him behind bars.
Tangie encourages him to write the letter. She tells him that
someday he will think on what might have been and regret
not writing. Tangie apologizes to AM for interrupting a
very personal moment and leaves. AM writes a short note
telling his father he 'misjudged' him.

BIG A: some office & WSPR
Alan sits in an office defending his son to his lovely assistant.
(close-up on clock sitting on desk) He thinks AM is trustworthy
because he didn't spill the beans about Alan being freed when
Alex was needling him.and in the next he admits that he
doesn't know him very well. He tells how appalling it is that
Alex would sue her own nephew. "Is it any less-so than what
you had planned for him? " the
assistant asks.

ROGER: Holly house & WSPR
Rog is getting ready to meet with Mr. Taschua. He is looking
forward to using someone elses greed to get what he wants.
Holly asks if Mr. T is the man to help Rog. Rog has no doubts.
Holly decides to accompany Rog on the excursion. When they
 arrive
at WSPR Holly worries that Mr. T won't like her being there.
Bingo! The phone rings. Mr. T. tells Rog that he told him to
come alone. Rog lies and tells Holly the meeting is canceled,
but he must stay and do some work ALONE! Holly bites and
 Rog begins pacing.

Rog hears some movement in the next room and bolts to the
studio.
No one is there. Suddenly the lights go up and blaze on Rog.
There is a camera pointed on him. Alan, with a voice disguiser,
can be heard over the speakers. He tells Rog to sit. Alan toys
with Roger. Rog says he believes Mr. T. wants to take over
Spaulding. He says he can help. Big A wants to know why
he cares. Rog admits that he wants Spaulding as much as
Mr. T. What can you offer me that I cannot get on my own,
Mr T. asks. "I know where the bodies are buried" Roger replies.
 Mr. T wants to know
exactly what Rog expects in return. Rog wants to be Spaulding
President. Rog continues to dig his own grave when he spouts on
about how he can handle Jail-bird Alan (and enjoy doing it!) and
Alex as well. Mr. T says he wants "no hawm to come to Alexandwa" .
" I would never suggest such a thing" Roger says with a half smile.
Rog continues singing his own praises-long pause-
"Mr Taschua?" No answer. Rog dodges to the control room door
only to find a very warm chair in an empty room.

VAN: cabin
Van has a poker poised ready to wap the Cute boy
(I haven't seen GL in two weeks and don't know if
he has a name yet.)
Cute boy says hi, with a twinkle in his eye and tells Van
he was just looking for a place to crash and an application for
sexy-handy man.
Van says she should have dropped him off at the cops when
her turned up in the sailboat.
Van: You may think of me as some lonely middle aged woman,
but-
CB: You think of yourself as middle aged?
(he asks with astonishment and a twinkle in his eye)

(next scene)
Van returns with a robe (she was wearing just a T before)
Cute boy is repairing a busted up chair. She wonders why he's
still there. He says he wanted to clear the air before leaving.
He admits to knowing it was Van who put up the add for
handyman, but claims he thought the cabin was unoccuppied.
After a bit-o-banter Van begins to soften. She asks him why
he is "skulking around looking for a place to sleep in old boats
and abandon buildings?" Cute boy says he'll spare her his
life story. He begins to leave, but hunger forces him to ask
for bit of Van's uneaten midnight snack.

CB fixes lock while Van makes him diner. She asks him again
why he is wandering. "I haven't couldn't live in the place where
I was from and I haven't found the place where I am going,"
he tells her. CB notices Van's business attire hanging on a hook.
He asks her who else lives here because the clothes don't look
like they belong to her. "Who do they look like they belong to?"
She asks. Your mother" he answers. Van takes this
opportunity to make up a story about a sister and
her husband who are due to arrive any minute".
Van thanks him for fixing the lock and offers him
the handyman(sex toy) job. He accepts.
As he is about to go She offers him the
hammock to sleep on. Van notices his dreamy
blue eyes, and georgous bod and retires to her comfy sofa.

BLAKE: Holly's pad

Blake is freaking because she blew a fuse and trashed the kitchen
when her hubby missed another meal She says she is turning into
the kind of woman who shops around for the best dry cleaners
and goes to the movies in the middle of the day. Holly suggests
Blake get a job. "Or pregnant?" Blake asks. But admits that it
would only be a way to avoid what she's feeling now (useless).
Holly tells her she should still be living her life even though
she's married. She offers words of wisdom that should be repeated
to women all over the globe (in my opinion)

Holly: Stop immitating what it is you think a perfect marriage is
like and find out what it is that makes you exciting. What gets
your adrenaline going? ... stop putting all your focus on your
man, expecting him to be totally responsible for your happiness.
Just because your in a relationship doesn't mean you can't be your
own woman. I have spoken. Now, let me call your father...

Holly calls but there is no answer.

AlEX: her pad
Alex is nearing hysterics. Her clock is gone and she wants
some answers! Fletch tries to lighten things and suggest she check with
Ethel and Lucy (the maids). Alex ain't laughing. She goes on to
suggest Jenna to be the theif and then on to AM. Fletcher tells her
that after all AM's been through his revenge would be bigger
then swiping some clock. Alex tells how the clock is a family
heirloom from Brandon. Twas the family tradition, that the
"good child" would get to wind the clock nightly. Alex was usually
chosen as favored one over her bad-boy brother, Alan.
Alex admits that she is feeling extra guarded right now
because of major personal stresses. Mainly, Prick and
Mindy moving out.
Fletch: All the talk show audiences say it is unatural for a
young woman to be live w/ her mother-in-law.

Alex says she's afraid Nick will lose his Spauldingness if he leaves
and they will grow apart. Fletch nails Alex for not letting her son be
his own man. Alex claims to trying to make up for the years she
was deprived of with her son. Alex tells Fletch that Nick was the
only person around she could count on. (open mouth-insert foot)
Fletch says he feels taken for granted, and like a possession. He tells
her that he is ther person she should be counting on.

That's it for Monday.
