-------------------------- Original Message --------------------------

Hi, here is the update for yesterday's show. I will be on
vacation next week so can an alternate updater please do
next Tuesday's update for me? Thanks a lot, Angie

Alexandra is packing up Alan Michael's things to move him off
of the yacht. Fletcher comes in and begins to have a heart to
heart talk with her about Alan Michael. He has never been a
fan of Alan Michael's but thinks that Alex is wrong by bringing
a law suit against him and kicking him out of his home.
Fletcher makes some good points telling Alexandra that Alan
Michael had no choice but to try to make it own his own. Alex
had proven to Alan Michael over and over that he wasn't worthy
in her eyes by passing him over for the Presidency of Spaulding
and giving it first to Philip, then to Roger, and then Nick.
It was Alan Michael's by birthright but he was never given what
was his. Alex and Fletcher argue some and talk some and finally
she sees Fletcher's point. Especially when she says that she
should have listened to her father and Alan when they told her
long ago never to believe anyone who says they love you. They
will kiss you on one cheek and belt you with their fists across
the other. Fletcher says, "Gee, that must be Alan Michael
feels too." Alex agrees to call Ross in the morning and drop
the law suit. She tells the butler or steward to stop packing
as well she has changed her mind. The steward rushes in and
tells her that there is a report of a break-in at Spaulding.

Alan Michael shows up at Ross and Blake's house. He wants to
know where the clock Alan gave them as a wedding present came
from. Blake didn't know and threw the box away. She says
she sent him a thank-you note to the prison. Alan Michael
laughs and tells her that only she would send a man who tried
to kill her a thank-you note. They talk and Blake feels sorry
for Alan Michael because he asks her why was he never good
enough for his family. It was always Philip or Nick or someone
other than him. Blake is talking to him and Ross comes in.
He demands to know why Alan Michael is in his livingroom with
his wife in her nightgown at 1 in the morning. Blake just drops
her head because she had already told Alan Michael to be quite
because she would get in trouble if Ross found out he was there.
Alan Michael lies and says he left something there the other
night, he has it now and is leaving. Ross shows him out unkindly.
Blake fusses at Ross after Alan Michael leaves saying he doesn't
have anyone in the world and she isn't going to turn her back
on him too. Ross and Blake argue some about him taking the case
against Alan Michael. Blake tells him he can go after Alan
Michael but she won't help or be a part of that. Ross tells
her he is worried about Alan Michael taking her away from him
because he always goes after something that is already someone
elses. They discuss this and re-affirm their love for one another.
They make-up and kiss and go back to bed.

Alan is telling his oriental assistant about Alexandra, Vanessa,
and Blake. He explains how his sister Alex is made of stone
and other than her precious son Nick cares about no one. He
tells about he and Vanessa were engaged until he had an affair
with another woman and Vanessa couldn't forgive him for that.
He tells how Vanessa is doing well running Lewis Oil for Billy.
Then he explains how Blake was married to both of his sons,
Philip and Alan Michael. He tells her how Blake thinks he tried
to kill her once but he really didn't. He said he sent her
an olive branch (the wedding gift). He also says that Blake's
only fault is being Roger Thorpe's daughter.

The prison guard calls and tells Alan that his son was there
looking for him. Alan gets excited and asks if it was Philip.
The guard says no, he said his name was Alan Michael. Alan
loses his excitement and wants to know what he was told. The
guard said the warden messed up and told him Alan was released
from prison. Alan gets very mad and tells the guard there better
not be any more mistakes. He hangs up and his oriental assistant
tells him that she guesses his surprise tactics are gone now
if everyone knows he has been released. He says that only Alan
Michael knows and since he is more loyal to Alex than to his
father she probably knows too. Alan says he is going to find out
who Alan Michael has told to see if he needs to re-think all of
his plans.

Alan breaks into Spaulding and walks around touching items and
smiling. He hears a noise and runs into the next room leaving
the door ajar where he can see and hear. It is Alan Michael,
he pulls out a file on his father trying to find answers of why
is was never good enough and where Alan might be. Alan watches.
All of a sudden Alex and the steward burst in. She wants to
know what Alan Michael is doing and he says he tried his key
for old times sake. She hadn't changed the locks yet. He begins
to explain what he was doing by trying to find out some answers
on Alan. Alex grabs the file on Alan and goes ballistic. She
starts screaming at Alan Michael telling him Fletcher came to
his rescue and had her talked into dropping the case but now he
could forget it. How could she believe that Alan Michael wouldn't
betray her. She knew all along he was in on this with Alan.
Well, he and his father were going to pay. She was going to see
Alan Michael burn for this. Alan Michael kept trying to tell
her he didn't know anything about where Alan was and wasn't working
with him but Alex really would not listen to anything. She
told him not to speak to her on the street and if he saw her
walking down the street to turn his face the other way. She never
wanted anything to do with him again and he is finished in
the family. She storms out leaving Alan Michael broken to pieces.
She leaves too and Alan comes out of the back room. He is
shocked that Alex and Alan Michael aren't together on everything
and can't believe what Alex just did. You can tell he is ready
to have her behind.

Vanessa is in a bar and plays poker with some of the guys. One
of them cheats and she pours a drink on him making him very
angry. He and Vanessa begin to actually fight and she is
holding her own. The new black headed guy on the show jumps
in and knocks the guy out and throws him out of the bar. Every
one cheers for Vanessa. She tells him thanks but she didn't
need any protection. He laughs and tells her he wasn't protecting
her, he was protecting the other guy. She laughs too.

That's all, feel free to add anything you want to this update.
Angie
