   Jenna's hotel room.
Alan Michael, still rejection-crazed, barges in, delivers an
emotionally-charged sermon about "loving someone in spite of the fact
that they don't return the sentiment", and demands Frank's love letter
to Eleni.
AM breaks out the sack cloth and ashes, and Jenna finally gives up
the goods in exchange for his promise to keep her in the lotion concern
(clearly, she's got her suspected newborn's welfare in mind).

Later, in Franklin Park, AM (while waiting for Eleni to keep a
hastily arranged appointment) spots a little girl sitting forelornly on
a swing, and joins her, noting that "sometimes it helps if you have
someone doing it with you". When her mother calls, the little girl hands
AM a flower she was holding, then departs.
Eleni arrives, and Alan Michael tries to give her Frank's letter, but
she refuses, thinking it simply another of the Dark Prince's ploys to
get back into her pants.
He begins to quote Frank, eliciting Eleni's attention, wonders if
she'd "rather hear the words from Frank", then confesses to the theft.
They both start crying, E praises him for coming up with the strength to
turn over the letter, a huge hug is exchanged, and Eleni transports back
to the Diner where she reads the letter and talks the situation over
(positively) with Nadine (who confesses that she understands AM's
actions, because of the power of "love-destiny").

   Spaulding Enterprises.
With Alexandra (playing "bad cop"), and Nick (playing "good cop") on
the warpath for Alan Michael's severance contract and suspecting Lucy
might be trying to protect her former (quasi)amour, Lucy is pressured
into revealing what she was hiding in her desk drawer.
Instead of pulling out the document however, she pulls out a woman's
magazine: X blocks the square(s). ;)
When Mama Bear and NickyBear leave for the evening, Lucy retrieves
the contract from underneath her seat cushion.

At Spaulding Mansion, Alex hashes out her AM problem with Fletch, who
advises her that a tiny lotion company doesn't pose a threat to the
Enterprises, and not to let the "sins of Alan the father fall upon Alan
the son".
[And as Alex admits that she's uptight because of possibly leaving
an opening for Alan to exploit (accompanied by a story from
childhood, of Alan ripping-off a porcelain doll from her to
give to his girlfriend, and destroying it rather than return it
(and blaming his sister for tattling on him in the first place),
Mr. Shark, himself, receives a real-time mystery package in prison.]

Alex transports out, and Nick comes down to join Fletch (poised over
a chess board) in convo and sherry. Fletcher warns Nick not to let the
whole "Dark Prince" brouhaha turn him into a "Spaulding isolationist". :)
As if on cue, Alan Michael bops into the family room. Fletch leaves
to let the cousins "do their thing".
Alex arrives, and AM drops the bombshell: he's ready to assume the
position of president of Spaulding [!]].

   Diner.
Eleni, Buzz and Nadine on-duty. While perusing the "SoulMates"
contract, Nadine discovers that she and the B-man can be prosecuted if
caught lying about their marital status, and declares, "We've got to get
married, Buzz!"
Next, she makes a trip to the upstairs apartment to retrieve
memorabilia (lipstick-imprinted movie ticket-stubbs, popcorn wreaths,
etc.) and drag Buzz down memory lane. The Deen-ster also discovers her
and Buzz's old marriage certificate and wedding ring --- which she
demands that he place on her hand [!].
Enter Lucy, who Buzz promptly takes out for a "(root) beer". :)

At Doris', Lucy confesses that she hid Alan Michael's contract from
Alexandra, and Buzz advises his daughter to replace it in the [Brumpt-
TING!] "AM".
Before you can mutter "champagne and caviar", Alexandra transports
in, strolls over to their table, threatens Buzz in no uncertain terms
for crossing her re: his Jenna and "spy-duties", and demands her $5,000
back (firing off a nice "pay-back" threat against Jenna in the process). :)
Post-Terminator scene, Lucy expresses amazement that Buzz had
(earlier) turned down the Excalibur just to save Jenna's hide ("I didn't
realize you loved her that much...").

And at the hotel, Jenna calls the pregnancy test corporation to
inquire "just how 'blue' do the results have to be to indicate a
positive??".
Slowly hanging up the phone in a daze, a beatific smile lights her
face as she pronounces: "I'm pregnant --- with your baby!"

Whadd'ya know? It's "All In The Family", after all!
   Cliffhanger!
