Update for Guiding Light for Wednesday, June 25th, 1997

Vanessa is having dinner with her Physical Therapist,
Mike. He is trying to cheer her up and make her
forget about her past and concentrate on her future.
Vanessa is upset that her family has moved on and
that Matt has found a new love but she is ready to
move into the future too. Vanessa tries to walk
outside but doesn't fare too well do to her thoughts
of Matt and another woman. Mike tries to take her
mind off things by getting Vanessa to dance with him.

Matt and Dinah are discussing their plans to find
Vanessa. Bill comes in and reminds them he will
be graduating and they both promise to be there
and celebrate with him. Bill notices that Matt
has been on the computer again and offers to help
him find "Tess". Bill traces the drug that "Tess"
told Matt she was taking to a clinic in Switzerland.
Dinah realizes it is the same clinic that she
and Hart went to and actually ate dinner there.

Jenna invites Harley over, not knowing Jeffrey's
whereabouts. Harley and Jenna begin discussing
their plan and Jenna thinks it is a bad idea
after all and she decides to call the whole thing
off. Harley is furious and tells Jenna that
they can pull this off and it is a lot better
than killing Jeffrey which was Jenna's other
bright idea. Jenna tells Harley that Jeffrey
is too bright to fool and he is a con artist
himself and that eventually he will put two
and two together. Harley tells Jenna all they
have to do is get out of town before someone
blows their cover and then it will be easy to
fool Jeffrey and bring him down. Jenna explains
to Harley that blowing their cover is just what
she means by it not working....Phillip almost
blew it the other night for us and the whole
town knows them both and it just won't work
out. Jenna tells Harley the plan is called off
no further discussion.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey is about to walk in on Jenna
and Harley when a hotel manager stops him and
asks him to fill out a survey so they can better
serve him in the future. He agrees to fill out
the survery which buys Jenna and Harley some more
time to argue. Although, Jenna and Harley are
both clueless that Jeffrey is out in the hall.

Harley and Jenna continue to argue and Jenna
has had enoough so she turns to Harley and
screams..."It's over...this won't work out"
and in walks Jeffrey. He wants to know what
is going on and makes the comment that two
girls seem awful familiar with each other
for people who just met.

Harley and Jenna cover quickly. Jenna tells
Jeffrey this little amatuer pick pocket isn't
suitable for a job with them and she wants
the deal about her going with them to New York
ended. Harley explains to Jenna loudy that
isn't a mere pick pocket and outscam with the
best of them. Jenna doubts this and Harley
tells her she isn't the one doing community
service for getting caught. Jeffrey finds
this most amuzing and tells Jenna that that
is a good point. Jenna is furious and she
and Harley start yelling at each other saying
things about one is a better con than the
other, etc. Jeffrey is laughing and thinks
Jenna may have met her match. He tells Jenna
to calm down and that the deal is on...he
wants Harley (or whatever name she is using)
to be with them and it is final.

Later, Harley and Phillip meet and she explains
the whole story to Phillip about what she
and Jenna are doing to try and bring Jeffrey
down. He is intrigued and agrees to keep
their plan a secret and help if he can. Phillip
and Harley get into a heart to heart talk
and Harley reveals that she was unfaithful to
Mallet and had an affair.

Buzz is curious later on when he sees Harley
at why she and her ex lover Phillip were so
buddy and buddy and what they were talking about.

Well that is about it for this update.
