Hello!

It's me, yer substitute Thursday updater. After going through the 6/27/96
show three times, I managed to leave the notebook w/ my notes in it at my
parents house!!! Grrrr. And I won't be out there until this COMING
Thursday. So...I will attempt to do a mini update now, and do the real
update later, so that way you can read yer later updates but still get all
the witty remarks made by the characters (and the stupid ones made by me.)

Philip and Alan make small talk over lunch. Alan offers to have him come
work for Advantage Systems, b/c he really IS a Spaulding, and his family ALL
feels that way. Philip figures out that Alexandra told Alan why Philip was
in Springfield and Alan continues to try and persuade Philip that they can
be one big happy family.

Alex shows up at Reva and Buzz's place and tries to persuade Hawk into
talking the Coopers into dropping the part about Amanda's past from the
media event. She begins to sweet talk him about how much she cares for him.
He starts to fall for it, until she says something like "If you really care
for me, you'll just do this one little thing and stop your daughter." Hawk
tells her to stuff it. She heads back to the Spauldings.

On 5th street, everything is set for the media frenzy/lynch mob. AM and
Lucy show up and Buzz and Reva tell them what they're going to do. AM and
Lucy are surprise and horrified by Amanda's past, after Matt admits how he
knows it's true to prove it. Amanda shows up and much nasty bickering
ensues. Griffin gives a wonderful speech (as usual). Buzz heads up to make
the announcement when Lucy stops him with the ingenious realization that
what they are about to do makes them no different than the Spauldings. She
tries to persuade AM to stop Buzz b/c Amanda's his sister, yadda yadda
yadda. AM goes to stop Buzz, and tells Buzz HE will make the announcement,
not Buzz. AM walks up to the stage, just as Alexandra walks in the
Spaulding den and Alan gets done with his "We are Family" speech. The 3 at
Spaulding Manor begin to watch this example of Spaulding Family Values.

MY FAVORITE STORY LINE:

Dinah and Roger are at the dig watching Quint and J-no-dot dig up where
Hart's body used to be. Rog tells Frank (don't remember how he got there)
that Rog meditates there; it's holy ground. Quint explains that the NA
tribe indigenous to that area has given their permission and one is on the
dig team (?) so deal. J and Quint dig up a skull. Frank wants to take it
to forensics, but Quint explains it'd be useless, the skull's at least 200
years old. Dinah leads Roger away, telling him she moved Hart so no one
will find him. Nell shows up as they leave and tells Frank he "won't
believe" what was in the vial at the penthouse.

Back at the penthouse, Roger demands to know where the body is, but Dinah
won't tell him b/c he'll just go back over and over and get caught. Roger
finds handcuffs left by Off. Frank "Duh" Cooper and demands to know how they
got there. Dinah says the cops came over to search the place and one of
them must have dropped it while she served them tea. There's a knock on the
door. Frank announced it's the SPD. Nell explains to Frank what Lonitrat
is used for. Dinah lets them in, and Frank asks Rog if he was drugging Hart
with the Lonitrat. Rog says there's nothing in the vial but water (oh, they
brought the vial with them). Frank explains that the lab checked it out.
Rog insists it's water, grabs it from Frank and in what is perhaps Roger's
DUMBEST move ever, SWALLOWS THE ENTIRE CONENTS as a horrified Dinah, Frank
and Nell look on.......

END CREDITS!!!

Sorry so late and so short...the whole thing will be here soon.
