I am sorry. I was teaching Thursday night and I didn't get a chance to
do the update. THEN someone taped over the episode before I could watch
it again to take notes.

This is the compuserve version of the update. Rick has a great line
about the BBQ. ("Why can't the Lewis's do it this year, they're so cheap").

Though Fletcher and Ben joke about what they're going to wear to the upcoming
wedding, Ben is thrilled when his father asks him to be his best man. Later,
Holly has a serious talk with her soon-to-be step son and assures him that she
is looking forward to being a mother to him. With Roger nearby, Viktor calls
Cutter and announces that he wants $2 million and safe passage out of town. In
exchange, he will return either Matt or Dinah. Cutter asks Vanessa to make a
choice which causes Ross to argue about who should be chosen. Blake interrupts
and states that Dinah will be safe if she was in on the planning of the
kidnapping. Upset that Cutter won't accept his offer of assistance, Roger
moves forward with his plan to save Dinah and Matt himself. When Viktor calls,
Cutter tells him to release Dinah before he gets the keys to the car. David
chases Bridget all over the boarding house, attempting to apologize to her for
thinking that Skunk was selling her drugs. Rick agrees to help out when Ed
explains his reluctance to handle the Bauer barbecue on his own, so soon after
Eve's death. Bridget also agrees to act as co-host. Still bound together,
Matt and Dinah playfully argue about who is to blame for the mess they are in.
Annie and Josh picnic at Company and are relieved to finally love each other
freely.
