In a corridor of Cedars, Ed, still in the grip of the positive vibes
flowing from the site of the Ross & Blake nuptials, is on Eve like
white-on-rice: kissing and playing touchie-feelie with abandon.
As two female hospital employees look on in amazement, Eve finally
has to tell the guy to chill; his ardor is mis-placed, simply not
professional, and may be mis-interpreted as favoritism (or worse).
Later, Lillian drops off some papers in Bauer's office, and when
he leaves, takes the opportunity to tell Eve how glad she was to
see her and Ed enjoy themselves so at the wedding. The Lill-ster,
jealous though she once was, has seen the light and gives them
   her golden stamp of approval:
"...(if) you stop risking things, you
stop dreaming your dreams, you don't
don't have any fun because you don't
                                   think you deserve it anymore...what
you and Ed had yesterday at the wedding
...you were so happy; that's what it's
all about. When the love and the laughter
are driven out --- THAT'S what wrong..."

A humongoid lightbulb goes off over Eve's head; she gives Lillian a
huge hug ("I love you!") then transports out (with an accredidation
board review on the afternoon's schedule -- an hour earlier than planned).
Later, Ed enters his office, opens a drawer, and is smacked in the
face by a toy snake popping out. Eve bops in from a side door, decked
out in a classic Groucho mask (eyeglasses, eyebrows, moustache, mega-nose),
and equipped with rubber cigars and a toy horn [!!!].

Eve: (Groucho accent: ON) (Groucho motions: ON)
"Dr. Grouch, I presume? Are you the party of the
1st part, or the 1st part of the party?" (toots horn)
Ed: "...Eve??! Did you put that snake-thing in my drawer??"
Eve: "Careful; some of my best friends are snakes." [Brumpt-TING!] *
   Ed: "What are you doing??!"
Eve: "Whadd'ya think I'm doin'? Lightenin' up!
Nuzzlin', kissin', that sort of thing..."
Ed: (trying not to crack up)
"How am I going to nuzzle and kiss when you're acting like a nut?!"
Eve: "Hey, careful; I used to BE a nut, as you may recall."

[Buh-ha-ha-ha-ha! OTFF! OTFF! Had to rewind this
          three times! :))) Hilarious! A keeper! Ding-dong!]

Eve: (gives Ed duplicate Groucho mask) "I got something for 'ya."
Ed: "What? You want me to put this on??"
Eve: "No, I want you to eat it. [Brumpt-TING!]
         C'mon, what are'ya? A man or a mouse?"
Ed: (now in the spirit of things - Groucho accent/motions: ON)
"Well, if you put a piece of cheese down, we'll find out!" [:P))]
   Eve: "...kiss me, I'm double-parked."
Ed: (mask: ON) "What about 'Prim and Proper'??"
   Eve: "Never heard of 'em."

Ed and Eve, still sporting Groucho masks, start playing kissy-face,
hugging, trying to swap spit (Eve: "Hey! Watch those hands!...C'mon, put
the nose to the mouth!") --- when Alexandra walks into the office,
followed by the members of the review board! :))

...With Ed and Eve looking like escapees from a Marx Brothers
festival, the other members do an about-face, while Alex stays to
deliver a brief lecture on the merits of keeping one's private life
separate from one's professional one ("I learned that the hard way,
having married Roger Thorpe...").
Ed tries to play X blocks the square by countering that they were
just relieving some "crippling tension" resulting from getting the
hospital up-to-speed for the accredidation process.
Alex leaves to give them time to, um, compose themselves. :)
As soon as the door closes, Eve turns to Ed, grabs him, sticks her
knee up his crotch, and with full Groucho accent commands: "Hold this!"
They both crack up. Hit the theme song again, Cadets; there's love in
the air. ;)

At Company, Dylan prepares to take Peter to Vanessa's so he and Jet
can spend the day at the beach. The prospect of whappa is hinted at
during a brief convo that ends with a kiss.
Enter Spinner, who had been lurking just ouside the door (her usual
position indoors). She tries to touch Pete but is rebuffed by Dylan, who
brushes her hand away and urges her to get a life. As soon as he and the
baby leave, Julie wastes no time getting into Jet's head, hinting that
Dylan still has the hots for her, and reminding Bridget that when she
and Dylan made love, it was like "lightening striking everytime".
A brainslap regarding pregnancy and fitting into bikinis post-partum
is delivered, and Spinner blows Dodge.
Dylan returns to find Bridget in a really foul mood, having checked
herself out in the mirror in a one-piece.
   Mindgame City.

Ross and Blake discover that they have mistakenly booked themselves
aboard a honeymoon cruiseship for --- seniors. :)
Making the best of the situation (and prodded by a nerdy, persistent
cruise director), they take an early, "command appearance" lunch with
the ship's captain, then hightail it to the deck for some backrubs and
sun.
Blake settles down with a bawdy romance novel ("The Pirate's Woman'),
falls asleep, and experiences a dream where, as the heroine "Subpoena"
[;))], she's tied-up on the deck of the ship (goofy-gauze; you had to
see it), the cruise director is the villain, and Ross is her pirate-
lawyer hero (swinging en scene on a rope, holding a briefcase).
Accompanied by a swashbuckling musical overlay (Khachaturian's "Sabre
dance" from the ballet Gayaneh??), a lot of campy saber-play ensues
(Ross defeats the cruise director, making him "walk the plank"). Blake
snaps back to real-time, and takes her new husband into an "Employee's
Only" side-room for a rousing round of whappa-whappa on top of a sea of
red life preservers. :))
[Blake Public Bop Sites to-date: Towers elevator, top of Towers bar
                                    piano, limo, Diner's booth, Country
                                    Club cabana, Springfield jail cell
                                    (in a hamper), cruiseship anteroom.
                                    Did I miss one? I sense a contest... :)]

And, oh, yeah: nice butt, Ms. Keifer. :)

   Matriarch Mansion.
With Mindy lurking in the hallway, Fletch cabbage-patch slaps Alex
about her tendency to hold grudges, urging her to forgive and forget,
then transports out for some designer eggrolls.

Rog and Holly are at the Chinese restaurant of Fletcher's
destination, waiting for their mysterious luncheon guest. When Fletch
strolls in, Roger assumes Alex is playing games, and has sent her live-
in boyfriend as the go-between.
Fletch assures the Dodger in no uncertain terms that nothing's up,
then blows Dodge.
[Back at the mansion, he and Mindy (who confesses to overhearing
the am Al/Fletch gabfest, and thanks F for "sticking up for her")
split the eggrolls and share some quality time, munching with
their feet on the coffee table, and wishing Alex could do the
same: let her "hair down" and become human more often.]

After admitting to Holly that yes, the reason Fletch got to him is
because he misses the action and power that accompanied the helm of
Spaulding Enterprises, she leaves the table for a minute, and a
mysterious Asian woman steps out of the backroom.
Mata Springfield deposits a fortune cookie in front of Roger. Opening
it, he finds that it reads: "You will soon have your heart's desire."

   You make the call.
