  SPAULDING JET
Alan tells Tangie that they are going to Quebec City to go to a good
French restaurant. Tangie is panicking. She needs to get back to work.
Alan tells her to relax, they'll return as soon as they eat.

  COUNTRY CLUB
Alex, with an accent, pretends to be Alan's temporary secretary and calls
the pilot of Alan's plane. She tells him to not refuel the plane and that
he shouldn't deliver the 5 dozen roses, "he has an allergy to 'em and he
could literally die." The pilot doesn't understand. She tells him,
"don't, 'D', 'O', 'W', apostrophe, 'T' refuel".

Roger comes in with gifts for Peter. Alex goes over to him and they
trade insults about Fletcher and Holly.

  CROSS CREEK
Josh and Annie are cleaning up the broken dishes. She asks if Josh is
saying that Reva is alive (like the book Jane Eyre with the mad wife
locked in the tower). He says, not exactly. Reva appears and Josh tells her
not to blackmail him anymore. Reva, "Where would I spend the money? You think
they've got malls?" Josh tells Annie why he's been throwing things, and
talking to himself, "Reva is here."

  BOARDINGHOUSE KITCHEN
Bridget is mad at Matt. She asks if he's trying to ruin her life. He
says that since she began hanging out with "this Skunk guy" she's been
cranky, tired one minute & wired the next. He's concerned about how
careless she's been with Petey. Vanessa arrives with a birthday cake.
They talk about the cake for awhile, then Vanessa asks about Peter. He's
in Company with Maggie & David. Matt thinks he should be on a routine.
Bridget wants to know when he become the expert on kids since he doesn't
have any. Their father's name comes up. Matt is trying to forget his
childhood. Bridget wants to know why he's so hard on their dad. Matt,
"Maybe because he was gone every other month on some get rich scheme."

  COMPANY
Peter is in a stroller when a strager comes up and talks to him. Peter
is holding a paper crown & shows it to the man. The man says, "You look
like the lord of the manor." Peter responds, "Yeah! Oh oh, it's broken
right here," and points to the crown. The man tells Peter that he wishes
he could find a place like this, right across from the hospital, and make
the doctors line his pockets. Maggie comes over and tells the man that
Peter's mother doesn't like him to talk to strangers. David tells her
that the guy is probably harmless. Vanessa picks up Peter and the man
watches.

  CROSS CREEK
Annie understands that Josh's wife is here-- a cabin full of memories.
Josh tries to tell her that Reva is here, right now. Annie doesn't know
what he means until she sees an urn on the mantle. She thinks that
Reva's ashes are there. She tells him to forget Reva. He can't because
she's right behind Annie.

  JET
Alan tells Tangie to undo her seatbelt and relax. She won't until they
land, she was scared the last time she rode in a plane this size. He
laughs & says she's funny. She looks panicked and wishes she'd told him
about her fear of flying, instead of his sister.

The co-pilot comes out and tells Alan that they have to turn around.
They don't have enough fuel to make it to Quebec City. Alan asks who
told him not to fill up the tank.

  COUNTRY CLUB
Roger thinks Alex looks like an alley cat about to pounce on a rat. More
comments about Fletcher and Holly being in Santa Fe together. Roger says
he's accepted the fact that the person he "loved", no longer loves him.
Alex calls him a liar. Alex leaves & Dinah arrives. She needs his
help. "Heiress abducted & forced into slave labor. My passport was
taken & I'm being held hostage in a Lewis Oil workcamp." The bartender
calls Ross and tells him that Dinah is with Roger.

  BOARDINGHOUSE
Bridget can't believe Matt called her careless with Peter, what if
Vanessa had heard. Matt, "Staying out all night, playing biker chick,
what do you call that? You forgot your son." Bridget wants to know why
she can't have fun. He doesn't want to mess up his relationship with
Vanessa by lying for Bridget. Bridget wonders when it's her turn, she's
always been the one to help out her mom. Matt says she doesn't get a
turn at the cost of her son. Bridget says she is a good mother. Matt,
"Then start acting like it!"

  COMPANY
Matt is blowing up balloons. Vanessa wonders why he's upset. He pops a
balloon. Vanessa asks Peter if he heard that & if it was scary. Peter
says "Yeah" to both questions. Vanessa asks Matt what's up between him &
Bridget. She heard them fighting about Peter. Matt says it's just
brother-sister stuff. Matt, "Bridget really loves him, but right now she
feels like she's missing out on something, failing him somehow."

  BOARDINGHOUSE KITCHEN
David asks Bridget what's wrong. She wishes Matt would cut her some
slack, he's criticizing her all the time, how can he think he's perfect.
David thinks that since Matt is settling down, he'd like to see the same
for his kid sister. Bridget asks if she's a bad mother. David tells her
that he's on her side and asks if Matt is like their dad. Bridget thinks
he is, more than Matt would like to admit. Their dad isn't such a bad
guy, not a lot of luck, just charm. Her mom says Sean Reardon has three
virtues that she knows about: faith in his charm, hope in his schemes,
and charity, which is what we're going to need if he doesn't get it
together pretty quick. "Mom was a martyr, she made sure we knew she gave
up her life for us kids. I want my life and my kid." David tells her
she will, but take it easy. He wants her to be happy. He quotes his
mother, "A happy mother is a happy baby." They laugh.

  CROSS CREEK
Josh picks up the urn and opens it. He tells Annie he wishes she could
see Reva. Annie tells him she doesn't need to see her. He eats
something from the urn & asks if she wants one. Annie, "All this time
you weren't talking about the urn. Reva's ashes aren't in there?" Josh,
"It's candy." Annie, "Your dead wife visits you?" Josh, "Yes, now
you're getting it. I know it sounds crazy." Annie, "I know a little bit
about Reva. She does sound a little possessive." Josh, "She's not
possessive, we were just close." Annie, "So close you couldn't breathe!
She said jump and you said How high!" Josh doesn't think that's fair.
Annie thinks he's looney and she's leaving, "You won't be lonely."

  JET
Alan tries to reassure Tangie. She's having an anxiety attack and grabs
him and hides her head. He enjoys it. Tangie grabs Alan's tie & holds
on. He hopes that she won't hold it against him that it's been a
disasterous evening. He holds her and smiles.

  COMPANY
A magician is doing tricks for Peter's party. <Marah is holding a little
boy that looks like the faux-Peter.>

Rick arrives and tells Bridget that Eve is at home with Ed. Matt joins
Rick.

Outside Company, Roger and Blake meet and she asks if he's alright.
Roger, "Your mom has made a choice and it's Fletcher Reade. What can I do?"

  ALEX'S LIMO
Alex gives Ben a cockpit simulator. He's tried to save money for one,
but keeps spending it instead. She tells him not to tell his father.
She asks how Fletcher is. Ben tells her he went to Santa Fe with Holly.
Alex asks if it was business, but Ben tells her it was for fun. Just
then, Bill calls to Ben that they'll be late for Peter's party.

  COMPANY
Blake wants to know what's going on between Ross & Roger. Roger says
it's nothing new. "Has it occurred to you that if your husband is acting
more oddly than usual, it might have nothing to do with either one of
us. Could have something to do with his daughter."

Outside. Dinah tells Ross that she doesn't want to leave Springfield and
lose him. He doesn't think she behaves that way. Dinah says it's
because she's not used to having a father or a family. She's been on her
own for so long, that she does things without thinking them through. She
wants to make it up to him somehow. He wants her to promise to never see
Roger Thorpe again. Dinah, "Absolutely! It's not a problem. Does that
mean I'm forgiven?" He wants to forgive her. He loves her, but they
have to try to understand and respect each other. He's willing to try if
she is. Of course she is, she'll make him proud of her. They go in to
Peter's party. She stands next to Matt. He looks at her and she asks
what he's looking at.

Roger asks Blake if she's heard from her mother. She hasn't, but thinks
she's coming back today & asks why he's torturing himself like this. He
doesn't know why & tells her he's not up to this much socializing. He
wants to leave. She doesn't want him to be alone. He doesn't know where
he should be, he doesn't feel comfortable in his own skin. He's never
felt this way before. He tells her that he loves her & she's a BEEN a
wonderful daughter & he's so proud of her. She hugs him and looks worried.

  CROSS CREEK
Annie tells Josh she's ready to leave this shrine. He says it's not a
shrine. She asks if he wants to meet her half way. He tells her to take
his car and leave. He'll wait for her car and drive it home. Annie
wants him to fight for his life and maybe her too. Josh doesn't know
what to say, so he goes to get her things.

  BOARDINGHOUSE KITCHEN
Vanessa and Bridget each light a candle on the cake and carry it out to
the party. There is a knock on the door. David tells the person to come
in. It's the guy who was talking to Peter.

  COMPANY
Everyone is singing "Happy Birthday" to Peter. He blows out the
candles. David brings in the man, "Look everyone. We have a surprise
guest!" Matt turns around and the man says "Hi son."
