   Spaulding HQ.
Alan Michael returns from his journey to Fort Lauderdale, FL, and
confronts Brent with the content of some informal bar-chats with a few
of Mr. Lawerence's hometown compatriots. AM bluffs a bit when recalling
a charge of "roughness" by a former (unnamed) girlfriend/date.
Brent breaks completely south, denying _everything_, and branding the
girl a liar. AM counters that he spoke to no such girl, and wonders if
Brent isn't projecting about his recent date with Lucy. [!]
Brent: "...if you weren't my boss..."
AM: (moving close) "Ok; you're fired."
Lawerence fires off a shot to AM's jaw, and knocks him across the
desk. AM regroups, tackles Brent to the carpet and begins to choke the
living shit out of the guy.
Enter Lucy, screaming (visuals in staggered slo-mo, resonating with
her cries during the rape), "Stop! No! Stop it!!"

Brent makes a graceless exit (not like he had a bunch of options in
this area), mockingly warning Lucy to watch out for AM: "...he's out of
control..._obsessed_ with you...". [!!]
Alan Michael tries to tell Lucy the complete story of his trip to
Florida, but she'll have none of it, tears out of the office in short
order, and cannot be located.

Brent, meanwhile, has high-tailed it to the Spaulding mansion for an
impromtu conference with Alan:
"I probably shouldn't be telling you this; may I speak frankly?
(blah, blah, blah) YOUR SON IS TRYING TO DESTROY THE COMPANY..."

   Woo.
   Now, THAT'S low.

   Police Station.
Cutter is "visiting" with Tangie in her downstairs cell, when a
hooker is escorted in. Name? Cherise. Occupation? Professional jazz
dancer by night - turns tricks during the day. :)
Cherise also acts as a temp courier, because she's carrying a note
for Tangie from Roger, who therein instructs T to be cool, and to call
Ross in on the case as counsel - "...he'll know what to do...".
Alan arrives with some literature for his would-be girlfriend
(Sylvia Plath mini-joke) deleted, and Tangie, first declaring an
inability to concentrate on reading material, accepts after the Big A
notes how much books helped him during his first hours of incarceration
in the state pokey.
[Cherise gets off a "naughty bit" by suggesting that Tangie
should at least take a look at "them" - while looking straight
at Alan and simultaneously adjusting her bra straps/halter top. ;)]

Ross transports in (without having been called by T), and citing the
protectiveness of the lawyer-client relationship, demands to know her
source for the tip on the 5th Street funds.

   WSPR.
Roger is rudely interrupted by Dinah, who storms into his office
clutching the morning newspaper, demanding an explanation for the Tangie
Situation.
Rog (first reminding his "child" pseudo-lover for the umpteenth
time, that they are NOT to be seen together in public) assures Dinah
that it was necessary to use T (and to place the 5th Street funds in a
sewer) in order to elimimate a traceable route back to Herself. Dinah
(leaning across the desk, grabbing Rog's tie and pulling him towards
her) next attempts to lure Roger off for some "morning delight", and is
sternly rebuffed. Exit EuroTrash.
Ross storms over from his jailhouse meeting with Tangie, and demands
to know what lowlife stole the 5th Street funds. After creating a bit of
dramatic tension, and with Ross about to leave in a huff, Roger blurts
out: "Dinah...".

   Boarding House.
Cutter arrives just as Dinah is entering, and conducts a mini-
interview on the porch. Dinah, twists and turns, and manages to convey
an aura of ditsy, spoiled brat innocence. Cutter leaves her one of his
"business" cards and exits.
Inside, ET spots a shirtless Matt, and judging by the look on her
face, has a surprise for Mother Vanessa in the "may I borrow your...?"
department. ;)

   Cedars Hosp.
Eve, having injected herself with an experimental drug the previous
day (against Rick's explicit orders not to monkey around with untested
serums), fakes a high temperature (holds thermometer to a light source)
in order to postpone chemotherapy.
[In the corridor just outside the Eve-ster's room, Annie informs
Lillian about her "disaster" date with Josh (Lill: "...I wish
you'd 'catch me up" on (your Chicago thing with Rick)..." :) ]
++
++
   Vanessa's House.
Josh has completely gone Riva City, brooding over a gadzillion of her
old photos in the living room. Enter Mindy, who is informed in no
uncertain terms that "I've been SEEING Reva; not imagining her: SEEING
HER - so close I could reach out and touch her...".
Mindy thinks Josh may be experiencing post-Reva trauma, because,
unlike his romances with Harley and Tangie, the one with Annie may prove
fruitful. Josh isn't buyin'.
   Ding-Dong!
It's Annie, on lunch break, who has transported over with a hand-held
video game for a "sick" Shayne. Mara comes in from the kitchen, and
breaks her dad's face by informing the A-ster that, not only was Shayne
not sick the previous night, but she and her brother went to the movies
with Aunt Mindy and Grandpa Henry. :)

Suddenly, MetaphysicalReva appears on the stairs, joking that Josh is
going to have a hard time talking his way out of this one. :)
She's right, and when Annie quickly makes her way to the front door
and out of Dodge, Josh tells her what he thinks is the truth:
   "...I'm going crazy...".
MetaReva appears by Josh's shoulder, eliciting another of his
trademark gasps as Annie flees in confusion. :)
Josh re-enters the living room, screaming for Reva to show herself.
She answers by voice: "You know where to find me...".
Josh packs his bags, and on the way out, gives Mindy his destination:
   Cross Creek.

lance sanders I'll be taping that Josh/MetaReva reunion off
starkid@mcs.com the airwaves, just in case of cable disruption. ;)
