GUIDING LIGHT TOO BAD IT'S MONDAY
(OR TUESDAY) UPDATE FOR 4/29/96
             OR
  CONSPIRACIES ARE AFOOT DAY

We begin with the Golden Boy promo:
Phillip Spaulding in tux and white tie is pacing.
"I've got to find out who set me up."
Phillip in gold shirt and jacket is facing Rick.
"Somebody I loved hated me enough to try
and bury me alive." Cut to Phillip playing chess.
Voice over: He's back to claim a destiny denied.
"I can't get on with my life until I find out who it
was." Cut to Phillip smashing his fists together.
"Take the enemy by surprise." Cut to GL
marquee. Revenge rules the day on GL.

TBIMOT HIGH (OR LOW) LIGHTS:
MARCUS (or is it Prince Kahka Ben-Bouti)
wings his way to Princess DAHLIA
CURLYBOY stalks PARTYGIRL from
    the fricking sky
BLAKE and ED consider going for a
     group rate on a hitman
ALAN postures to the 5th Street crowd,
but JEVA doesn't buy his act
PHILLIP is on everyone's mind
The HAPPY LAMs have trouble keeping
peace on the ship of fools
VIV and HOLLY discuss what parents will
do for their children, and GRIFF shows
up to make Kucha pay the price
ROSS tells HOLLY about the twins, but
BLAKE is reluctant, and slips off with
     her new best friend SUPERNURSE

LET THE SHOW BEGIN

GRIFF'S ROOM:
Marcus enters his Dad's room and finds
lipstick on a liquor glass. When Griff enters
wearing only a towel, Marcus wonders if he
should leave since he seems to have company.
"Do I know her?"

CEDARS : HOLLY'S ROOM:
Hol is holding the baby and seems to be breast
feeding her. Viv tells her if she strokes the baby's
cheek it might help to get her started. In the middle
of goos, Holly notices that Viv has repeated herself.
When Holly wonders how it went with Griff, Viv is
on the defensive and says nothing happened.
Hol: "You hear that Meg, that's what we call a lie."

CEDARS : ED'S OFFICE:
Blake wants to thank Ed for talking to Rick. Ed
thinks it would be better if Rick forgot about the
fact "that the two of you..." Ed clears his throat.
Ed thinks Rick will realize that biology doesn't make
a parent and let it go.
Blake's cell phone rings. She thinks it is Ross.
Blake: "Hello, darling."
Rick (from the plane): "Hi, pumpkin."
Blake: "Rick?"
Rick: "Your one and only. Well, not quite."
Blake: "Why are you calling me on my cell phone?"

SHIP OF FOOLS:
We cut to the Spaulding jet. It seems much bigger
than usual. There is the main cabin which has most
of the people, and the couch and chairs we have
seen before. Off of that, through a curtain, is a
smaller area near the emergency exit.
Rick is in this smaller area talking on a cell phone.
In the background, we see LAM collide. AM is
carrying bottles of booze one way and Luce is
going the other. Rick explains that he didn't have
a chance to see Blake before he left for AM's
wedding. He is on the jet "to an unknown
destination with a planeful of lunatics."
Blake: "Sounds fantastic."
Rick: "It's just peachy. Everybody on this flight just
loves each other."
LAM passes by again. AM is taking a tray one way and
Luce is bringing one the other.
Blake: "Stop rambling long enough to tell me why
you're calling."
Rick: "Oh, yeah."
AM appears, laden with a tray of sandwiches, looks
at Rick and shakes his head.
Rick: "I left a little surprise for you in Springfield."

SHIP OF FOOLS : MAIN CABIN:
We see the happy father-in-laws to be:
Alan tells Buzz that he thinks AM inherited his
romantic nature. Buzz makes a crack about how
when he got the girl, he got to keep her. Alan
drags Buzz off. AM wonders where they are
going. Lucy looks anxious.

They move to the smaller exit area:
Alan wonders if Buzz has ever been skydiving, and
looks at the emergency exit. Buzz wonders if Alan
has ever spent an honest day in his life.
Alan: "Spare me the fresh vitriol. I'll wait for the caviar."
Buzz: "Listen A.S. I'm on to your scheme."
Buzz tells Alan that he knows he is behind the 5th Street
takeover. "Alanspaudling, Advantage Systems, A.S.--it
all fits like a noose." Enter Reva looking nervously back
and forth. Alan tells her that she better shut Buzz up.
Buzz: "You're slick but not slick enough for me or my
mate, isn't that right honey bunch?" They kiss, and Alan
looks disgusted.

MESA AIRLINES:
Cut to a plane taking off. Phillip is hearing the standard
announcement. "We hope you enjoy your trip to Orlando.
Flying time is 3 hours, 40 minutes. [My hubby claims it
takes at least 5 hours. It must have a little of the Spaulding
jet's usual oomph, since it has been flying for days]
Phillip is dressed in a tan suit, white collarless shirt,
shades and is wearing a wedding ring. He takes off his
shades and looks pensive.

TWIRL LIGHTHOUSE

CONSPIRACIES ANYONE:
We are back in the main cabin of the Spaulding jet. AM
is proposing a toast. Entre Buzz trailed by Reva and Alan.
Buzz: "Fess up, you're the AS in Advantage Systems,
aren't you?" Frankie tries to intervene.
AS: "You know, Buzz, only you could turn coincidence
into conspiracy. Oliver Stone will be happy to find out
he is not alone." Buzz again asserts Alan is behind things.
AS: "Why don't you prove it, you little twit."
Reva tells Alan not to speak to him that way. Frank and
AM try to pull Buzz back. Buzz swears he will get
proof, but arrogant Alan says he won't hold his breath.
AM tells Buzz that he believes Alan when he says he
had nothing to do with it. Stupid Lucy says she believes
Alan and berates Buzz for spoiling her wedding.
Buzz: "It must be the altitude or the attitude." He tells
Lucy that his life is going down the tubes.
Alan: "I thought it has already gone there."
AM: DAD! [for once a Spaulding doesn't say Father]
Lucy points out that Alanspaulding isn't the only person
with the initials AS; there is Allied Signal, Amalgamated
Stores." Rev chimes in with Audio Systems. Buzz chides
her because he thought she was on his side. That isn't
the point; she is keeping her promise to Lucy and if
Buzz can't behave he will have to ride in cargo. Lucy
pleads with Buzz that they should focus on the future
which is based on love, trust and faith. AM tries to give
Buzz some champagne. Rev takes it and offers it to him.
Alan tells Buzz that he could learn a lot from his daughter.
Buzz tells him not to condescend. Reva is drinking the
champagne. Alan declares again that he had nothing to
do with A.S. or the alleged takeover of 5th Street.
Buzz: "Yeah, right, and Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone!"
[For me, that is the line of the day, week or month!!!! Since
we know Alan is lying, what does that tell us about our
writer's confidence in the Warren Commission lone nut
theory?] Alan stands up and hands Buzz an envelope.
"I hope this will shut you up." Buzz wonders if it is a
letter bomb. Alan tells him to open it, and Buzz does.

Switch to Rick:
"Cupcake, are you still there?"
Cut to Blake with a worried Ed looking on. Rick
doesn't want Blake to tell Ed the surprise. Blake
doesn't want to know it either. But Rick informs her
he has left behind blood and hair samples at the lab.
She can have the CVS test and match DNA. Rick
tells her that he knows she is having twins.
Blake: "Listen to me Harpo. When you get to where
ever it is you are going, I want you to check yourself
into a psych ward. Tell them you are paranoid,
delusional and two-faced. You told me you were
going to leave me alone."
Rick: "I am."
Blake: "You're stalking me with my cell phone."
Rick: "I gave you everything you need to shut me
up. Take the CVS test, prove Ross is the father of
the twins, and CurlyBoy will leave PartyGirl alone,
capesh?"
Blake: "I don't need a test to tell me what I already
know, capesh?"
Rick: "Why didn't you tell me you were having twins?"
Blake: "I was afraid you would be twice as obsessed."
Rick: "I'm not obsessed."
Blake: "Add denial to your list of mental problems, ok?"
Ed tries to take the phone, but Blake thinks she can handle
him and tells the big bully to leave her alone. Rick
prattles on, until Blake makes noises and declares that
the battery is going dead. Ed grabs the phone. Rick
tells him that there is a solar flare thing going on.
Ed: "I thought you were going to drop this baby business."
Rick: "Uh-huh. Listen, did you get that message about
Michelle I left on the answering machine?"
Ed: "I haven't been there since I talked to you."
Rick: "So you don't know about Michelle?"
Ed: "How's she doing?"
Rick: "She's not here, Dad."
Ed: "What did you say?"
Rick: "You heard me. She tried to sneak J on the plane
and I wouldn't let her.
Ed: "Oh, come on."
Rick: "I kicked him off and she ran after him."
Ed: "I mean for where, what ...."
Rick: "I don't know."
Ed: "Damn it!!"
Rick upends the phone and makes noises.
"Solar flare!" He scratches the phone and
mutters mayday. Ed gives up. He hands the
phone to Blake. Blake wonders if Ed would hate her
if she had her son killed.
Ed: "Not if we could get a good group rate." LOL
Ed tells Blake he thinks she should take the CVS test since
Rick isn't going to let this go--he's calling her from the
stratosphere. When Blake asks Ed if he thinks Rick
could possibly be the father, he says as a scientist he
has to look at both sides. Enter Ross. A bug-eyed
Annie is dogging his footsteps, waving her arms
crazily above his head and making insane faces.
Ross wonders if there is something wrong with the
twins. Blake and Annie exchange glances.

CEDARS : HOLLY'S ROOM:
Viv apologizes for snapping and Hol reminds her that
she is a friend. Since she told her the whole story about
Gilly, she can't help but wonder what happened. Viv
tells her that she tried but couldn't tell him. Holly guesses
that she slept with him. Viv explains how it happened. Griff
said if she left without being honest, it was over. Then
Gilly would be a target for him. She stalled for time, but
when he got angry, she slept with him.
Hol: "So you slept with your ex-lover to keep him from
being free to date your daughter."
Viv: "What have I done?"

SPRINGFIELD INN : GRIFF'S ROOM:
Griff has put on a robe. Marcus is amused to see that
maybe his old man is human. Marcus hits Griff up
for a thousand buck loan. Griff wants to know why
and Marcus tells him he wants to go to Orlando. He
wants to help Dahlia Creed. She has been dragged
down there and needs him. Griff thinks it is a
delicate situation. Marcus says he won't blow the big
secret. He just wants to give her support and spend
time with her. Frank Cooper has dragged her there
and Marcus is afraid she might run away. Griff gives
Marcus a check. He goes to the phone but is unable
to get a flight for two and a half days. Marcus wants
to borrow one of the bodyguards. Griff gives him
Rasheed but he wants him back in one piece. They
hug. Marcus says he owes him one. Griff rejoins:
"You owe me one thousand."

SPAULDING LOONEY LOOPERS:
Dahlia is looking out the window ignoring all. Rev
asks Buzz what was in the envelope. Buzz reads:
"The S'field Board of Health has decided to
reconsider its decision and reopen Meals on
Wheels diner." Alan is sitting in a chair in one
corner, Buzz and Reva are opposite. Standing
in the front row: Frank and Eleni, Back row:
AM, Fifi, Rick, Lucy, Alex. AM thanks his father
for coming through. Rev also thanks him. Alan
says he doesn't expect Buzz to have the dignity
to apologize, but he hopes it puts the matter to rest.
Alex pipes up, "I wouldn't count on that, Brother Dear."
Alan: "No one asked you, Sister Dear."
Buzz wants to hear what Allie has to say. Al says
that it is naive to think that AS will want to live and let
live where the Coopers are concerned given their
already mean-spirited actions. "I imagine there will
be more grief (looks at Fifi) for the hapless denizens
of 5th Street." Amanda wonders if Phillip would agree
with her, and tells Al to ask him the next time she
speaks with him. Both AM and Alan are upset by
this bombshell.

MESA AIRLINES:
Phil is fiddling with the overhead switches.
Flashback (black and white):
We see the Spaulding Enterprises logo. Phil looks
out the window. He sits at a desk and smiles.
"Finally." Cut to a sign on desk: President.
Reality:
Phillip takes out a typewritten note.
"I want him gone. I don't want to know how you do
it. But whatever you do, make sure Phillip can't get
out of it. The frame has to be iron-clad. The --- has
to be clear. But this must be done carefully. Phillip
is family. Don't let him get hurt."
GB rubs his face pensively.

HALF-TIME

ARE WE THERE YET?
Al tells all that of course she speaks to Phillip. Last
time she checked, he was still a member of the family.
Alan: "What are you up to Alex?"
Alex: "Nothing, darling, just as you."
AM: "What were you talking to Phillip about?"
Alex: "Your wedding, of course. He wanted to know
about Lucy and such. Hoped this marriage went off
better than the ones to Eleni and Blake."
AM thinks that Phillip should have called him.
Fifi: "From what I saw, Alexandra Graham Bell didn't give
him a chance."
Alex: "Hope this magical mystical wedding is going to be in
Malibu cause there is something about that place that grips
me. Don't you find the people out there so engaging, eager
to please?"
Fifi: "Enuf about me. This is about weddings. How about your
engagement to Hawk Shayne? Why didn't you bring the
old coot?"
Alex: "He has too much dignity to be seen with me before his
divorce from Sarah is final. Unlike Reva, he doesn't like
changing partners in midstream, tee, he, he."
Buzz: "Wait a minute. That's my wife you're talking about."
Reva: "Buzz, really it's all right. Pop has such slim pickins
at his age.
Alex: "Gosh, it's good we have so much food on board.
Anyone for pie?"
Alan: "Alex, I'm warning you."

Lucy is curious about Phillip. Rick describes him as his
best friend, someone with a wicked sense of humor.
They had good times and very bad times.

Flashback: Young Phillip and Rick:
Rick is remembering the time when Rick asked him to fake a body.
Rick: "You're serious."
Phil: "I'm dead serious."
Rick: "Very funny, Pal."
Phil: "I'm not joking. I'm not."
Rick: "It wouldn't be easy. First you'd have to find a body--right
size, height and weight. Are we having this conversation?"
Phil: "I think we are."
Rick: "Rig positive ids, x-rays, dental records. Have to work with
somebody from the inside."
Phil: "What?"
Rick: "It would make me an accessory. My whole career could go
down the tubes. I could go to jail."
Phil: "I'm sorry. I didn't think."
Rick: "You didn't think. You don't give a damn about me."
Phil: "That's not true."
Rick: "What in the hell do you expect me to do?"

Cut to another scene. They are embracing.
Rick: "Take care of the girls."
Phil: "I will. Will do."
Rick: "Especially Mindy."
Phil: "She's crying her eyes out. Think she doesn't care about you?"
Rick: We've got quite a history together. She'll always be the one
that got away."
Phil: "For now. You never know."
Rick: "You're right. To blue skies, I think it's about time..

Back to the present:
"I love him like a brother but he almost cost me my medical
license."
AM : "See Phillip never means to hurt anybody, it just seems
anyone who gets close to him gets burned."
Everyone looks uncomfortable.
Reva: "Are we there yet?"

CEDARS : ED'S OFFICE:
Blake assures Ross nothing is wrong with the twins. The bad news
is that Ed can't get away for AM's wedding. Ross tells him he is
the Chief, he should delegate. Ed explains his trouble with funding.
Ed exits to make a few phone calls. Ross wonders if Blake has
seen her Mother yet. Blake explains that she ran into Ed.
Ross says he couldn't resist visiting Meg--a preview of our
happy coming event. Ross is counting the days until the twins
join Meg in the playpen. He wonders if they think he is overdoing
the proud poppa bit, but then tells them it is a rhetorical question.
You cannot overdo the proud poppa bit. "Come on kids, Annie,
Mom, let's visit Meg." Bloss exits followed by Annie who sighs
and shakes her head.

CEDARS : HOL'S ROOM:
Holly wonders if Griff got to Viv. She says he is the same great
lover he always was. Hol tells her that Gilly really cares about
Griff. She glows when she talks about him. She describes Gilly's
gushing on her visit. Viv declares that Griff is a one-man woman
and "if he's with me, he won't be with my daughter." Holly wonders
if she is going to continue the affair. "What if he can't wait to
see you again?" Your cue, Griff. He peeks around the door and
asks the ladies if he can come in.
Hol: "Well bless me Meg. Momma's psychic"
When Griff wonders what that means, she says she is telling Meg
they can expect lots of visitors now that she's on the mend.
Entre Ross and company, wondering if there is room for Meg's
fan club. As they enter, Griff and Viv leave. Ross is goo-gooing:
exclaiming over her waking up, her cheeks, those little hands, the
smell of talcum powder.
Hol: "You sound as giddy as Fletcher. Don't go there."
Ross declares that it is good practice. The nurse enters and takes
Meg back to the nursery. Annie and Blake goo-goo. Ross wants to
tell Holly the good news. Blake is reluctant. Holly has to know.
Ross: "I'm pregnant. I mean, she's pregnant."
Hol: "You are! Oh honey, that's wonderful!"
Ross: "And twins. Two for the price of one."
Holly hugs Blake. "That's fabulous. Oh, my God. You must be
beside yourself."
Blake: "I can't think about anything else."
Annie makes another one of her stupid, real subtle looks.

SHIP OF FOOLS AGAIN:

FRIENDS : THEY'RE FUN:
Rick is brooding in the quiet area of the jet Fifi enters.
She wonders why he was on the phone so long. He tells
her he was talking to his dad about the pod-bimbo.
Fifi is almost certain he mentioned Blake. Blake was in
his Dad's office. Fifi wonders how Ross and Blake are
these days. Rick says they are doing fine no thanks to her.
Blake told him about the night she followed Ross up to the
cabin. Fifi retorts that it was the night he spent with Blake.
She knows because of Dinah.
Fifi: "I had no idea you and Blake were so close."
Rick: "We're friends, Amanda. You should get one.
They're fun."

LUCY SUCKS UP TO DAD-IN-LAW:
Lucy wonders why nobody in the family talks about Phillip.
Alan says that he desperately wanted to do right by GB but
failed at every turn. His problems with AM pale in comparison
to those with Phillip. Luce thinks maybe he will forgive him
like AM did. Alan thinks GB is too much like him; he can't
let go of things even when he knows he should.

Flashback:
Alan and GB are standing in front of a fireplace.
Alan: "I love you more than any parent has a right to
love his children. I don't want you to tell Amanda or
AM but you are my favorite. You always have been
and will be. That's why I want you to have this."
He pulls out "the ring." "It is worn by every heir to
the Spaulding empire since our humble beginnings
back in the sugar trade. I want you to have it son.
I want you to take Spaulding into the 21st century.
Take my vision and make it your own."
Phillip takes the ring and tosses it in the fireplace.
Phillip: "Find another sucker, Dad 'cause I'm on to you."
Alan: "I don't understand."
Phil: " I'll explain. I don't want any part of your vision.
I've seen what money and power have done for you
and I don't want it. I would rather end up in hell than
be somebody like you."
He walks away. Alan bends over and picks up the ring.

Back to reality:
"Phillip was a victim of his own illusion--of who he was,
and what he could be. I just hope that he's stopped and
seen who he really is."
Lucy: "No matter how he turned out, I think he's lucky
to have a father like you."
Alan: "Well, thank you, Lucy. Let's go back into the
party."

MAIN CABIN:
Jeva are dancing. So are Frank and Eleni. Frank
wonders if E. has ever boogied at 40 thousand feet.
Eleni is worried about Dahlia and asks Frank to dance
with her. He tries, and tells her he isn't really an old
fuddy-duddy but she wants to be alone. She won't
give him a break since he hasn't given her one.
"You won't even let me talk to people."
Frank: "I assume we're talking about Marcus Williams."
Dahlia: "He's nice. I like him but you don't care
about that, do you?"

S'FIELD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
Marcus enters wearing gray African garb
accompanied by Rasheed in blue.
Marcus: "I am Prince Khaka Ben-Bouti of M---"
My Embassy arranged for me to pick up my
ticket here at the gate. Security issues."
The clerk can't find his 1st class reservation.
Marcus speaks in African to his erstwhile aide.
"We have a serious issue here. I am to speak
today in Orlando at the Organization of ?
Nations. I am afraid to know what would happen
if I am a no show. Lives hang in the balance."
Clerk: "Guess I can put the little kid on his
mother's lap."
Marcus: "I'll mention your heroism in my speech."
Clerk: "Wait a minute. Don't I know you?'
Marcus: "I was interviewed this week on Dan Blather."
Clerk: "Of course, Marcus Williams, the sax player."

CEDARS : HOLLY'S ROOM:
Ross is blithering about how much he wanted a baby and
"I don't know how you did it honey, but I'm glad you did."
Blake pretends to be nauseous and exits with her new
best friend, Nursie Perfect saying she needs a woman.

As soon as they are outside, Nurse Mutton says:
"Are you sick, sweetie. Are you overheated?"
Blake tells her that although she thought she could
handle the pressure and live with the guilt she can't.
Rick showing up and calling out of the fricking
sky, Ross going on about the twins, Holly
thinking she has her life together, Ed barely
able to look at her, and Annie thinking she should
tell the truth --it's too much. Annie claims she knows
what it can do to a person. She wants her to take the
test because she doesn't want the "babies to go to
term in a wacked out mother." Blake is going to
take the test but it is going to be her way.
Noticing that they are right outside Holly's room,
Blake wonders if they could talk privately. Nurse
Perfect Dutton puts her arms around the little
Mother and leads her off. UGH!

Back in Holly's room:
Ross is tying on a teddy bear's bow as he chats with
Holly. He is telling her how parental he feels.
Overnight he is thinking about what is best for
the twins, and there is nothing he wouldn't do for
them. Holly thinks that is the bottom line: there
is nothing we won't do for our children.

On-Call room:
Viv and Griff go in. He shuts the door and kisses
her. Griff has it bad; he couldn't get his mind off
her, dreamed about her and woke up with a smile
on his face.
Griff: "You're not sorry we made love?"
Viv: "I want you now just as much as I did then but.."
They smooch big time.
Cut to Blake and Annie bursting into the room.

AIRPORT BLUES:
Marcus tries to keep up the Ben-Bouti charade.
"You know in America they have us all confused."
Clerk: "Denzel Washington, you're not. I've heard
you play at the Towers. You're very good."
Rasheed tells Marcus the guy has him by the dashiki.
Marcus doffs his hat and returns to Eurojazzspeak.
He tells the guy he has to go to Orlando today.
The clerk tells him its booked solid.
Marcus: "Matter of ..."
Clerk: "I know. Lives hang in the balance."
Marcus: "Maybe mine. There's a girl there with one of
those voices .... I've got to get there to be with her. I'll
fly with the luggage, in a pet carrier with flea collar
and a bone..."
Clerk: "You are as good with words as you are with your
sax." Luckily Marcus' solo of My Funny Valentine has led
to the guy's engagement so he bumps Marcus into 1st class.
Clerk: "Dedicate a song to my finance and we'll call it even."
Rasheed tells Marcus he is just like his father; when he has a
cause he doesn't give up.

CEDARS : ON-CALL ROOM:
Mutton and Blake burst in. Griff and Viv jump apart. Annie
is sorry, they didn't think anyone would be there. Viv
makes a lame excuse about a powwow about fund raising.
They leave and Griff tells Viv that he has to see her. She
will talk to Charles and get back to him. Inside the on-call
room, Annie is wondering about how they will get a sample
for the DNA test. Blake tells her about Rick's surprise.
Blake will take the test but only on her terms; she will
control the records and everything in the pregnancy
from now on. "I'm the only one who gets to see the results
otherwise everything is off."

GB ON WING:
The GB looks at the note again.
Flashback to AM and Phillip:
They are fighting in the mansion.
Phillip: "Blake doesn't love you. She's using you to
get to me."
AM: "It just kills you, doesn't it? That a woman could
chose me over you.
GB: "If you're into leftovers, little brother, ok."
AM: "You miserable s.o.b."
GB: "What are you going to do? You're mad? Gonna
take a swing at me? Go ahead."
AM: "I don't know why I ever looked up to you. You're
not a real Spaulding. You're the Golden Boy but you're
not a real Spaulding. You've got the clothes, the attitude,
you've got the ego, man. But I'm telling you one thing.
When it comes down to it, Father's going to chose his real
son. His one and only son and that's me."
He exits leaving Phillip there.

Reality:
Phillip folds the note and puts it in his jacket.

SHIP WRECK:
Alan tells Amanda that he has decided to proceed with his
plans for 5th Street: AS will take over the entire area and
squeeze out Buzzcooper and his new wife "because no
one takes what is mine and gets away with it." Amanda is
afraid that AM will hate him. Alan declares that AM must
never find out.
They return to the main cabin. More dancing is going on.
Buzz collapses. Reva tells him it is good practice for the
wedding. Buzz says he is happy for his daughter. He is
sorry he was a jerk, but he doesn't think Alan is innocent.
Reva doesn't think so either, but they are going to be
perfect and when the wedding is over they will scour
Orlando to find the answers.
AM tells everyone to take their seats. The pilot is
flying low so they can see their mystery destination.
AM takes Lucy to the private area. They sit near
the exit window on one seat.
AM: " I want you to look right down there."
We see a big lot with lots of buildings.
AM: "See that?"
Lucy: "It looks like a movie studio."
AM: "That's exactly what it is. It's Universal
Studios Orlando and it's all yours, Lucy.
Lucy: "We're getting married there?"
AM: "If it's all right with you."
Lucy: "OK? Oh, my gosh. It's incredible,
wonderful."
They smooch. Freeze-frame on LAM.

FINIS : NO CREDITS TODAY

NEWSBREAK
"Good afternoon. This is the CBS newsbreak with Dan Blather. Today
new evidence has been released by the Assassination Records Review
Board which tends to prove that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone,
and that he was a patsy as he asserted. New records from the CIA
indicate that there was a cabal of important businessmen who financed
rogue elements of the CIA, Mafia and Cuban refugees that formed a
hit squad which assassinated President Kennedy in Dallas in 1963.
David Phillips, implicated in running Cuban hit squads, was questioned
inconclusively about this by the House Assassinations Committee. A
major player in this effort was Brandon Spaulding, who made his fortune
in the sugar trade, chiefly in Barbados but also in Cuba and Hawaii.
Corporate records of Spaulding Enterprises released today indicate
shady financial transactions with these elements. Alan Spaulding,
reached in Orlando, Florida, where his son and current CEO Alan-Michael
Spaulding is marrying for the third time, called these records an
