greasy little spoon" and make some money in the process. Amanda tells
her father everything is going according to their plan and is being
kicked off as they speak. A-M enters and wants to know what's being
kicked off.

The Diner: Buzz and Reva try to deal with the food inspector, Mr.
Fingerley. Buzz wonders about the regular food inspector, Marty, who was
just there two months ago. Mr. Fingerley says he's well within his
rights to inspect the diner. Buzz shows him to the kitchen and asks Reva
to hold down the fort. Reva bends down behind the counter; when she
hears the door open, she says "I'll be right with you" and gets up to
find herself face to face with Josh and Annie.

Cedars: Michelle warns Rick not to yell at her. Rick says he's not
going to yell; he's in no position to cast stones at anybody. In the
examination room, Blake is in shock: "Twins? Two babies?" Dr. S. says
that Blake and Ross will be doubly blessed. Blake remembers hearing the
tv show about twins with different fathers. She mutters this can't
happen to her.

Vanessa's: Everyone at the will reading is in shock that Hart inherited
the bulk of Henry's estate. As Ross concludes: Hart is a very wealthy man.

Vanessa's: Hart can't believe that Henry left most of his estate to
him. Neither can Ross or Matt for that matter. Ross goes on to read a
statement from Henry: ".....Money is only worth the good it can do, in
Hart Jessup's case, this gives him a chance to be an independent man,
free of his father Roger Thorpe......" Hart thinks there is a catch.
Ross says there is and it affects everyone.

Spaulding Mansion: A-M says he's almost jealous of his sister and father
working so closely on a project together. He wants to make sure that
they don't want to include this as a part of the Spaulding empire. Alan
curtly tells his son, they're sure since this is high risk. Amanda
agrees that it would be counter to everything A-M's done at the company,
but A-M wants to know more....Lucy enters for their meeting with
Cassandra, the wedding planner. Lucy tells Alan that they are sorry
about Reva, since she's with Lucy's father now. Alan tells her he
believes that everyone in SF is with the right person for them,
especially Lucy and A-M and he couldn't be happier for them.

The Diner: Josh says they are her to talk to her about Marah, who is
outside waiting to see her. Reva tries to show that she doesn't care.
Josh accuses her of exactly that and Reva retorts that he shouldn't be so
judgmental. Reva says if Josh "doesn't believe she'll corrupt his little
pumpkin" then she would love to see Marah. Josh warns Reva that she can
see Marah as long as the child wants, but Reva is to stay away from the
rest of the Lewis family. She has no problem with that, but Josh doesn't
believe her since the last time he saw Reva was at his wedding and he
wants to know why.

The Diner: Reva and Josh continue to argue about her spying on his
wedding to Annie. Reva says she was at the hospital for a dr.'s
appointment and who would get married in a hospital chapel in the middle
of the day anyway. Annie enters with Marah and Reva offers to get her
daughter a chocolate milkshake. Reva wants to know if Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
are going to stand guard. Josh says his wife is. Buzz comes back and
asks if Josh wants to talk to him. Josh says they have some business
talk about.

Vanessa's: Ross reveals that if any member of the family challenges
Henry's bequest to Hart, then their inheritance will be given to
charity. J can't believe it and Nola wisely gets him out of the room.
Ross begins to leave, but Dinah tries to make nice with daddy. Ross has
no patience for her and says he's "sorry" that she and Roger didn't get
another financial windfall but she already has her trustfund. Dinah
walks off. Hart is still in shock about his new found wealth and tells
Bridget he will talk to her tomorrow about it, when he stops by to see
Peter. Nola is still trying to calm J down. She tells him his behavior
embarrassed the entire family and if she had .02 she would disown him.
Bill looks on at them and smiles.

Cedars: Michelle still can't believe that this is her "real" brother,
since her "real" brother usually rants and raves, especially about cool J
Chamberlain. Rick says he's going to let Michelle make her own decisions
and mistakes and won't tell their father about Michelle wanting birth
control. Rick tells Michelle she can have her life and he's getting on
with his. In the examination room, Blake wants to make sure no one but
she tells Ross about the twins. Dr. S. tells Blake she is about 7
weeks. Blake then flashbacks to when she was with both Rick and Ross in
a matter of hours. Rick enters and wants to know what happened. By the
look on Blake's face, Rick surmises he could be the father of Blake's
baby, which Blake admits to.

Cedars: Neither Rick nor Blake can believe that he could be the father
of the baby. Rick tries to calm her down, but Blake is worried what this
will do to Ross when the truth comes out. Blake gets off the table,
begins to faint and Rick catches her.

Spaulding Mansion: A-M tells Alan he wants to give Lucy the wedding of
her dreams, but Alan wonders why Buzz can't help. A-M warns Alan he
better behave and get along with Buzz just like they did when Lucy and
A-M were kidnapped. This is going to be the most important day of A-M's
life. Alan says he has nothing against Lucy and won't embarass her.
Alex enters and says a too well dressed woman is at the side entrance.
Lucy realizes it must be Cassandra, the wedding planner. On cue, the way
over the top Cassandra Bloomgarten enters. She asks: "Who's sho and
what's what?" Lucy says she must be who and A-M adds that must make him
what, which Cassandra thinks is very droll. Cassandra says this is the
year of the ritualistic wedding and tells Lucy to think black and navy.
A-M, Amanda and Alex have their own droll reactions to that.
Meanwhile....someone is looking a a business newspaer with an article on
the Spaulding family and is not happy.

Josh wants. Josh wants to talk about Advantage Systems and what it's
doing to Lewis Construction and the rebuilding of 5th Street. Josh wants
to work with Buzz to fight Advantage Systems, but Buzz says maybe he
doesn't want to fight, which Josh doesn't believe. Marah starts to tell
Reva about the wedding, but Annie give her money to play music on the
jukebox. Reva wants to know why Annie wanted to get rid of Marah. Annie
says Marah told her last night that "Reva fixed everything", which Reva
laughs off, but Annie wants to know what Marah meant.

The Diner: Reva has no idea, since she has only spent ten hours in the
past five years with Marah and claims not to know what Annie is talking
about, but Mrs. Lewis doesn't believe her. Annie still wants to know
about the secret and what it has to do with Josh. Reva tells Annie to
drop it and Annie agrees as Marah rejoins them. Josh can't believe Buzz
is selling out and thinks Buzz teaming up with Reva has changed him.
Buzz counters that he didn't team up with Reva; he married her. Buzz
tells Josh he better watch what he says about his wife. They are
interrupted by Mr. Fingerley who needs the owner's signature. Josh looks
over at a smiling Reva and Marah.

Vanessa's: J and Nola are still arguing about his inheritance. J
doesn't think it's fair that Hart got most of Henry's money, while he
only got money for his education. Nola thinks Henry made the wise
decision when it comes to J and his education. J storms off as Michelle
looks on. Vanessa, Bridget and Matt try to cheer Nola up about her
spoiled, bratty son. Michelle goes after J and Bill shakes his head.
Vanessa ask Bill where Michelle went and Bill replies "after the J man."
Matt asks Vanessa her feelings about Henry's bequest to Hart. Vanessa
thinks Hart's inheritance makes sense and was "vintage daddy".

and doesn't want to hear what he has to say. Hart offers Dinah his
inheritance, which shocks her.

Vanessa's: Vanessa says that her father was very wise, which Matt agrees
but he still can't understand the bequest since Henry hardly knew Hart
and hated Roger. Vanessa says exactly. This will set Hart free from his
father. She thinks Henry knew Hart was different from his father. She
asks Matt his opinion, but he isn't so sure of Hart Jessup.

The Beach: Dinah doesn't accept Hart's offer, since it was
"grandpere's" last wish to say screw you Roger by giving Hart the money.
Hart agrees that makes sense and wants her to give up her plan to get
Roger. Dinah says she can't; not after what Roger has done to her and
her family. Hart tells her his battle with Roger is just as great,
especially after being thrown off the Jessup farm last night by Roger's
goons and Leo Flynn. Hart thinks this is Roger's reply to Hart's asking
for the deed to the farm on several occasions: at WSPR and when Dinah was
dressed up as his mother, Laura. Dinah realizes he did that in order to
save the plan from blowing up. Hart wants Dinah to quit the plan, since he
sees how it is killing her to lie to her parents. Dinah thinks they will
understand eventually and doesn't want Hart to get Roger by himself,
especially after all she's been through. Hart wonders if this makes them
partners again.

Spaulding Mansion: Lucy want to talk about flowers: daisies and
dandelions. Cassandra can't believe Lucy wants that especially after the
horror of doing a wedding with those flowers last year. A-M looks on in
wide-eyed amazement as this woman goes on and on and on........Cassandra
offers black narcissus as the flower "we" want. A-M says no, what Lucy
wants is what we want. Lucy and A-M promptly hand Cassandra her things
and tell her to leave through the side entrance. The whole family laughs
about what just happened, at their own drollness and each gives their own
impressions and ideas for the wedding (Stonehenge, Pharoah's tomb, the Great
Wall, Barnum and Bailey's.)

Cedars: Rick tries to give Blake water, which spills on her. Rick says
he is just trying to take care of her, which Blake replies got them in
this mess in the first place. Ross enters and wants to know if something
is wrong with the baby.

upset because he couldn't be at the appointment with Dr. S. Ross offers
Rick diner at the Towers Club, since he's been such a good friend. Rick
leaves and Ross swears to never miss another appointment and wants to
feel everything an expectant father does. He asks Blake how the baby is
and Blake replies that she had a shock - they are having twins. Ross
responds with utter joy.

The Beach: Dinah says if they don't work together they'll step over each
other's plans. Hart says they can watch each other's backs, which Dinah
agrees is not a bad idea at all.

The Diner: Josh tells Marah it is time to go. Marah asks her mother if
they can do this again. Reva says as long as it is ok with Josh and
Annie. Marah hugs Reva goodbye. Buzz is irate at all the problems
the food inspector saw: mice, sprinkler system. Mr. Fingerley says
due to serious violations he's shutting the diner down. Reva can't believe it.

Spaulding Mansion: Amanda tells Lucy and A-M that their wedding day
should be the most romantic and fun day of their lives. She gives them
several ideas: springtime in Paris, English countryside with A-M
entering on horseback. Alex thinks they should find a new nuptician, but
Lucy wants Amanda to plan her wedding. Amanda is shocked but gladly
accepts, which does not please Alex.
