                                   Acts
                                   ----

   [I]:

Dancing continues at the 5th Street Ball; the festivities are clearly
approaching their zenith.
Fletch and Holly are still blissfully "spinning" on the promenade,
and reaffirming their love for each other.

[Ok; let me get this straight. Holly, only months earlier, was
deeply in love with Roger, and even went as far as to warn
Fletcher not to disrepect her man to her face. Marriage-bound,
she was. Rog gets caught in the AlexTrap. Holly falls for it
and fucks Fletcher on her office desktop. Rog convinces her
it was just a ploy on Alexandra's part, and she forgives him.
Marriage-again-on-the-horizon. Rog breaks their agreement, and
discovers Fletch was the man involved. Holly breaks south: "I
    don't love you anymore...".
So, with one bop, and 2 or 3 directly-connected conversations,
Fletcher and Holly are now madly in love with one another??! ]

[II]:

Annie and Rick are also dancing, and having another of their
"mysterioso" conversations (Rick: "Have you talked to Josh, yet?").
Ross is searching feverishly for Dinah, and Blake is following him
like a pit bull.
Victor prowls the grounds, and notices Dinah is missing.
Buzz counts the bucks collected, under the proud gazes of Caroll,
Nadine, Frank, Eleni and David. Frank strolls to the podium and
announces the grand total: $80,000.
Matt puts his "last dollar" into the fishbowl, and Vanessa notices
something is on his mind - they head off for a stroll.
Tangie attempts to console Buzz over the mandatory 50/50 split of the
collection.

[III]:

Annie reunites w/Josh; Mr. Man wants to know what the deal is with
her and Rick Bauer:
"...it's apparent that you and Rick were close
    (in Chicago); 'closer-than-friends' close.....".
   Annie declines the gambit:
"...tell me about Reva...I want the deep, personal stuff...
you want to dredge up (the past) 'wouldya-couldya-shouldya'
--- fine. You go first..." [Woo!]

[Something tells me Annie had a nervous breakdown, and
killed an abusive husband. She had a mini-breakdown while
with Rick, and he ended the relationship. Now, Rick's
concern is that Josh know the truth about Annie's psycho-
logical history before committing to her.
When Josh struggles to come to grips with the
possibility of exposing his family to another
"Reva-like" scenario --- Reva starts appearing to him! ]

[IV]:

Stavros and Mrs. Popov take over food detail so Frank and Eleni can
"trip the light fantastic".
Ross spots Victor putting money in the fishbowl, and questions him
briefly about Dinah (saw them talking earlier). Vic tells DaddyMan he
met his daughter in Europe, then beats a hasty retreat.

[Anyone else think Victor looks like an evil Ross on steroids?]

Alexandra and Tish brood and snipe about the Fletch/Holly thing,
while Alan and Tangie dance --- until Alex walks over and informs her
that the dress she's wearing is a Spaulding family heirloom, and it can
be returned "anytime tomorrow". Whoops.
T is pissed: "Tell me she's lying, Alan!"
He can't, of course, and Tangie stalks off in a huff.

[V]:

Fletcher takes Holly onto the Journal balcony over looking the Ball.
They continue to make moo eyes at each other, and nuzzle. Fletch
babbles, and exhibits all the signs of, IMMHO, a classic pussy-whipping.
Holly: "...I tried to get through to you, too (earlier)...
even treked to the 'North Pole'...(but) tonight,
           I didn't care about Roger..."
(she turns and yells to the street below)
"I'm not afraid of you anymore!"
            (to Fletcher)
"...he can't get to me, now..."

[VI]:

Stavros reminds Buzz that he has to present the "Friend of 5th
Street" award (Alexandra was going to, but blew Dodge). Winner: Josh
Lewis.
Jet wishes Matt good luck on his proposal to Vanessa.
Frank and Eleni engage in mushy love chat, and take notice of Lucy's
strange absence from the festivities.
Alan brainslaps Alan Michael for not scamming the "Friend" award
("...you should have 'worked the room', son...).
Rick greets Alan and AM, and after hugging the Rick-ster, AM blows
Dodge.
Mindy comes on to Cutter *BIG-TIME*:
   "Hey, Detective..."
   (looks down at his crotch)
   "...How's your, um...'computer'?" [!!!]
Patrick essentially ignores her ("Not now, Mindy..."), because he and
Levy are busy setting up barricades around the area!

[VII]:

Fletch and Holly are _still_ slow-dancing and grinding up on the
Journal's balcony.
Holly: "...I want to know everything (about you)..."
Fletch: "...I believe (in) you, I want to hold onto
the feeling; I want to hold onto you..."
   Mega spit-swapping follows.
   Soembody hose these two down.

[VIII]:

Mindy dances w/Rick; Ross notices his car is gone, and correctly
assumes Dinah has taken it.
Before Matt can propose, a Springfield matron drags Vanessa off for
some "girl talk".
Buzz stuffs the most-recently collected money into a valise, and
tells Frank and Eleni: "...I think it's going to be ok...". Frank tells
E he believes the old man has "something up his sleeve".

Patrick suddenly steps up to the mike and ends the ball.
The proceeds have been stolen, and no one can leave the premises
until further notice.
AM immediately attempts to leave, but Levy stops him. Brent
intervenes ("Calm down; you're going to get arrested.") [Brump-TING!],
and AM almost punches him out, but Blake saves the day by dragging her
ex away.
Cutter stops Buzz with the valise, takes out the money --- and
ARRESTS BUZZ!

   On the Journal's balcony:
Holly: "...what hapenned to the music?"
Fletch: "Who needs music?" (kisses her)
Holly: "I suppose we should go down and
find out what's going on; it IS
            our business..."
   Fletch opts for more lip-lock.

Main Act --- "Under The Big Top" or "Driving Mr. Dodger"
   --------------------------------------------------------

Dinah and Rog are en route to who knows where, and ET is babbling up
the yang, trying to get a silent Roger to talk. Rog: "...just keep
driving; I'll tell you where to turn...".
ET takes off her fall, bemoans having to consort with the "peons" at
the Ball, notes that Holly isn't right for Rog if she could fall for
Fletcher's act --- and, oh, yeah: they're running out of gas.
Some distance from Springfield, Roger orders her to "shut up and stop
the damn car!".
Dinah: "What am I going to do??"
   Roger: "Go home."

Seems they've landed at the former Jessup farm.
Roger has begun rennovations, and, inside, surrounded by pics of him
and Holly together, picks them up and begins flinging them across the
bedroom (only "finished" room in the house?).
Enter Dinah: "You used to live here with Holly, didn't you?"
   Rog: "Go away."

Roger continues to pace about and trash the photos and memorabilia.
Turns out he "bought the farm" [Brump-TING!], and was planning to really
do it up right after he and the Holl-ster were married. He tells Dinah
of his plans for happiness with Holly:

   "...I've been a 'good boy'...for the 1st time in my life...because
of her...but she didn't believe it...I had to prove I'd been
faithful to her...I wanted to feel worthy of her...show her I'd
fight for her...I've always had to fight for EVERY DAMN THING
IN MY LIFE!; not like Vanessa, Alex, Alan, Henry...I scratched
and clawed and even crawled...she was going to take me back if I
didn't ask the name of her lover...not to ask the name of the guy
who slept with the woman I loved??; the woman I was going to
    MARRY??!"

Rog slumps into a chair, and notices Dinah re-entering:
   "Why are you still here?!"
Dinah leans across the bed toward him:
"I never knew a man who could love a woman so much..."
Rog: "Get out --- or you'll regret it..."

Roger remains alone in the bedroom, lost in despair...when Dinah
suddenly returns.
She caresses his face with her black-gloved hand [! - Resonance-up-
the-yang], and lays a mega-kiss on the man. It's returned.
   Lip Lock City.

"I don't think Mr. Ranger is going to like this, Yogi..."
