                       Tuesday, March 4, 1997

Casa Bloss: A worried and depressed Blake hears a knock at the door. It's
Hart, come to console her. He's already heard about the twins, but Ross
leaving surprises him. There's another knock--Enter Dinah.

Fire Station: Jenna's dressed to kill in a red suit and black lacy top
(boustier???). She's ready to take Coop/Henry to the local art museum to
see a Cezanne. Enter Buzz who insists he's coming, too.

Roger's Hotel Suite: Enter Amanda, reportedly to help him prepare for
their 10:00 meeting. They hear a knock. Enter Holly.

Casa Bloss: Dinah's surprised to hear Ross left Blake, but she understands
how her father feels betrayed. Hart defends Blake and a typical Dirt
argument ensues. Dinah's pretty rude to Blake, who remains surprisingly
civil.

Fire Station: Buzz and Jenna banter back and forth about his accompanying
her to the art museum. She finally admits she's scared of running into
Jeffrey.

Spaulding Mansion: Alan and Alex conspire against Amanda and Roger.
Philip is in on it too. Alex says he's on his way to Roger's. They are
intentionally vague with the audience about the details of their plan.

Roger's Suite: Holly says she and Roger accidentally exchanged date books
and he goes off to look for the book to make the exchange. As soon as he
is out of site, Amandaconda pounces on Holly demanding to know why she
really came. She intentionally allows Holly to assume that she and Roger
either spent the night together or that she lives there. Finally she tells
Holly to have someone else do her legwork next time she needs something
from Roger.

Casa Bloss: Dinah and Hart continue comparing their own personal situation
with Ross and Blake's life in another one of their never-ending squabbles.
When they finally stop long enough to talk, Dinah admits she misses Hart.
He coldly doesn't answer.

Fire Station: Buzz gallantly promises to protect Jenna from the evil
Jeffrey, even though she claims he's her problem. Finally they leave for
the museum. Jeffrey picks the lock and enters.

Roger's Suite: Holly continues insisting she's not interested in Roger and
Amanda refuses to believe her. When Roger returns with the date book, she
tells him she and Fletch won't need him to help with the twins after all.
He's hurt but she's firm as she exits. Enter Philip. Amanda seems to be
perturbed that he has interrupted a private moment with Roger. Philip
challenges the two to prove that their relationship is real.

Spaulding Mansion: Alan and Alex reveal some of their plan. It seems
there are some oil leases up for renewal and Roger thinks he has the deal
all sewn up. Of course, Alan has gone behind his back and gotten the
leases signed already, but they are going to pretend that Roger was remiss
(since he was attending to Blake) and Spaulding lost the deal to a
competitor. Philip has gone to Roger to break the bad news. Enter Roger
and Amanda, upset by Philip's tidings. Alex, Alan and Amanda criticize
Roger for blowing the deal.

Casa Bloss: Dinah tells Hart she wants to go out with him, but he thinks
it's too soon. They make beagle eyes at each other, kiss, and Hart leaves.
Dinah pouts. Enter Blake (who has been tending the boys in another room.)
Dinah admits to her that she and Hart are kaput. Blake insists her
brother really loves her and she's willing to talk to Hart about
it--assuming Dinah will do something in return for her. Blake pleads her
case to Dinah and Dinah admits she doesn't understand how she and Hart fell
apart. They commiserate about Vanessa and both wish they were the kind of
woman men would be loyal to forever. Blake tells Dinah she can change if
she wants to and Dinah agrees to plead Blake's case with her father.

Fire Station: Jeffrey cases the joint and then goes upstairs.

Spaulding Mansion: Roger and Alan argue about the "lost" oil leases.
Then, surprisingly, Amanda defends Roger and the two exit. Curses, foiled
again, grumbles Alan. No one can figure out why Amanda chose not to desert
Roger.

Roger's Suite: Actually, Amanda is furious with Roger; she just didn't
want her family to see. Roger wants to know if this anger is about
business or Holly? She tells him to pay better attention to business; he
schmoozes her and pretends he cares.

Fire Station: Reenter Buzz, Jenna and Coop/Henry, chatting about Swan Lake
on roller blades. ( I must have missed something...I was sure they were
going to an art museum to see a Cezanne.) Jenna wants Buzz to do an errand
for her. She prepares a list as the nefarious Jeffrey spies unobserved
from the stairway.

Roger's Suite: The pair decide to renew their search for Alex's secret papers.

Spaulding Mansion: Alex waxes poetic about the joys of working together as
a family. Philip leaves, commenting that things could be worse. Alex
privately agrees and then goes to Brandon's bust where she removes the
secret paper--a birth certificate.

Dinah's apartment: She mopes while viewing a videotape of Matt and
Vanessa's wedding.

Fire Station: Jenna promises to stay put and lock the door as Buzz exits.
After musing about how special Buzz is, she goes to the phone to make a
call. Enter Jeffrey from the stairway, who tells her to save her dime,
he's already here.
