THE ALL WOMAN PLUS ED SHOW:

Bauer household:
Michelle reappears! Bridget and Michelle decorate for Eve's
surprise shower and discuss the upcoming nuptials. Bridget is
concerned that her "spies" at Memorial will not be able to get
Eve to leave. Bridget and Michelle discuss the party guests as
we see Eve, Lillian and Annie working. Michelle wants to know
which guests don't get along with the others. As we see Vanessa
and Mindy in a state of panic and disorder at Lewis oil, Michelle
and Bridget discuss how Mindy might be a problem because of the
history with Nick and Eve. They aren't sure if either Mindy or
Vanessa will show up since things are hectic at Lewis Oil.
Bridget knows Gilly won't be there (as we see Gilly sitting in a
makeup room while someone else gets made up by a woman with green
hair) because she is in L.A. interviewing for a job. Michelle
wants to know who is coming and Bridget says Blake, though Blake
and Eve didn't always get along. As they are discussing this, we
see that Alex, Blake and Dinah are all at a beauty salon, getting
made up. Nadine appears to be the manicurist. Bridget says
Blake specifically asked her not to invite Dinah. Michelle
wonders if they should cancel the party since the guests don't
always get along. :)

Salon:
Blake chitty-chats with Nadine about "Ross's spoiled brat of a
daughter." Lucy bops in to bend Nadine's ear about A-M, and lets
it slip that it is Nadine's first day at the salon, sort of a
trial run.

Lewis Oil:
Mindy and Vanessa are freaking out because Josh quit and things
are crazy. (Yes, they are acting like helpless women who can't
function without a man around to take care of things!). Mindy
takes a call, and Wanda lets Vanessa know that the shower is
about to start. Vanessa takes the phone from Mindy's hand, hangs
it up, and announces they're all quitting to go to the shower.
(Well, you know we women and our priorities....).

Memorial:
Annie and Lillian convince Eve to go out to lunch, but a patient
comes in an hour late for an appointment and Eve takes care of
her. Lillian's doctor shows up and tells Lillian to just get her
mammogram over with and to quit making excuses and cancelling
appointments.

L.A.:
Gilly is introduced to the anchorwoman, who rudely ignores her,
and calls her by the wrong name. The producer stops by and talk
turns to how she gave up the hectic schedule of on-camera work to
take care of her family. The makeup woman tells Gilly that the
producer wants to use her for three segments for the upcoming
show. This means Gilly will have to stay a few more days than
she expected.

Salon:
Blake continues to bitch about Dinah, apparently unaware that
Dinah can hear everything. Blake tells Nadine of her plans to
tell Vanessa everything. Dinah hears all this and hightails it
out of the salon with a green mask still on her face.

Bauer household:
The guests arrive. Vivian asks Vanessa about her "young man" and
Vanessa says Peter is just fine :). Bridget gets a call from
Annie saying there is a problem with Eve getting there. Michelle
comes to the rescue, telling Annie how to get Eve out of there.

Hospital:
Annie tells Eve that Ed's neighbor called to tell Ed of a wild
party Michelle was having at the house, but Ed is at some meeting
at another hospital. Eve dashes out, and Annie and Lillian
follow.

Bauer's:
Alexandra arrives and zeroes in on Mindy, wondering why on earth
she's there at a party for Eve. Dinah arrives and makes a
beeline for Vanessa. Vanessa introduces her to Michelle and
Alexandra. Dinah works the room, being completely fake and suck-
uppy. Unfortunately, all the women of Springfield have been hit
with ditzball disease and don't pick up on this. Dinah asks to
speak to Vanessa alone. They head off to the kitchen, where
Dinah confesses all about flunking out of school, Dinah-style.
Unbelievably, Vanessa buys her sob story. (Sade's "Smooth
Operator" plays in the background of this scene...).

Salon:
Lucy fills Nadine in on A-M's odd behavior towards her and Brent.
Nadine tells her she needs to stand up to A-M and not let him run
her personal life. Blake rushes out, telling Nadine that she is
late to the hanging :).

Bauer's:
Mindy tells Alex that if she can deal with her, she can deal with
anyone. Vivian grills Bridget about David. She asks Bridget to
talk to David for her about the "misunderstanding" over
Gabriella's deportation. Eve arrives, completely surprised.

Bauer kitchen:
Dinah continues to tell her sob story, saying what a total witch
Blake has been and Vanessa believes her. She plays on Vanessa's
faulty memory, and makes Vanessa believe that she bought her the
expensive scarf that Blake found. She accuses Blake of going
through all of her stuff and completely turns around everything
that Blake was complaining to Nadine about, making Blake seems
like an unreasonable witch.

Bauer living room:
Eve scolds everyone for tricking her, Blake arrives, and the
party gets under way. Bridget welcomes everyone, and has Eve
make a speech. Eve says she is completely surprised. She thanks
everyone for coming and asks for any advice from the women
present about men and marriage. Everyone looks uncomfortably at
each other until Vivian says you should always buy your husband's
clothes for him so he can't complain how much you spend on
yourself. Wanda suggests rubbing your man's feet so he won't
stray. (Gag! Hey, I deserve a medal for updating this crap! It
makes me embarrassed to be a woman!). Blake looks at Dinah and
says never let anyone get between you and your man. Alex warns
not to let your career get in the way. Maggie (the Company
waitress) is the only reasonable person, why it is that women are
always the ones who are expected to give up their careers. Talk
turns to trying to have it all -- work, kids, husband. Wanda
talks about being "child-free." Mindy announces that she plans
on having a child whether or not she has a man in her life.
Michelle tells Eve that she loves her a lot and wants her to be
with her dad. ALex asks Vanessa's secret for two people in love
staying together (gee, I guess 8 or 9 months is a long time in
soap-land!). Vanessa refuses to talk about Matt, but tells Eve
"Way to go, baby!" about finding her true love. Dinah kisses her
butt about her beautiful speech. The lab calls, and Eve takes
the call in the kitchen. Eve looks slightly disappointed.
Lillian wants to know if everything is OK, and Eve says
everything is fine. She can't believe how many women are at her
party, and says she loves Lillian and her friendship.

L.A.:
Gilly apologizes for her flubs, but the producer heaps praise on
her. She tells her not to make any return reservations. Now
that she's in L.A., they don't want to let her go.

Bauer's:
Dinah gives Eve a very expensive looking negligee, and then does
her song and dance for Mindy about how awful it is that she has
to wait until she's 30 to use her trust fund. Mindy suggests she
talk to Vanessa about it. Mindy says she used to have a trust
fund, but her father got in trouble and she lost it. Mindy then
goes to Eve and they pretend to be thrilled that Mindy showed up
for Eve's party. Alex asks Lillian why she's putting off her
mammogram. Lillian says she doesn't have anyone for support this
time (like she had Ed last time), and Alex gets mad, saying she
has lots of friends who love her. BLake tries to tell Vanessa
about what a manipulative little wench Dinah is, but Vanessa
clearly believes everything that Dinah told her. Vanessa tells
Blake that if Dinah is such a burden, she should send her to
Vanessa's. Blake says it is a done deal.

L.A.:
Gilly seems tortured and upset. She confides in the makeup
artist that she was really excited about the job, but now she's
not really sure she wants it. The makeup artist tells her that
it isn't life or death. Gilly says she's right, and everything
will be all right.

Bauer front porch:
Dinah accuses Blake of being tacky for trying to badmouth her to
her mother. Blake says she was getting an idea of tacky watching
Dinah operate. She says she always wanted Ross to be close to
his daughter, but now she wants to know when she's moving to
Vanessa's. Dinah says she's staying with Blake and Ross,
especially since Blake asked her to stay that morning in front of
Ross.

Bauer living room:
Post-party, Eve is deep in thought. Ed shows up with flowers,
and wants to know if they're going to have a baby (he overheard
her and Lillian). She says the test was negative. Ed says he's
really sorry, and so is Eve. She can't believe it, but she's
really sad. They decide they have the rest of their lives
together and Eve says maybe that future includes a baby. (My
prediction-- they're definitely going to kill Eve off. Whenever
they talk about having the rest of their lives, they're doomed!
So, anyone want to make any guesses on how they'll do it? I say
ovarian cancer or leukemia-- both can be quick killers, and I
think they can both have symptoms similar to what Eve has been
experiencing.)

That's it!
