GL Update: Friday February 6

The Lewis House: Reva and Marah study for a a history test and Josh gets home.
He makes Marah go up to bed and tells Reva that Annie has escaped from jail.

Ben's Office: Annie walks in in her police uniform and tells Ben that she
needs more money. He laughs at her and tells her that it's his duty to turn
her in if she has escaped from jail.

The Carriage House: Ross gets home and tells Blake that they couldn't find the
tape because Ben must have found it first and already taken it. He notices
the roses in the trash and is surprised. He asks if she didn't like them, and
she responds, "You sent the roses?!" He asks her who she thought had sent
them.

Cedars': In her room, Vanessa crashes and while various family members,
espescially Matt yell and tell her to stay with them, she sees brief flashback
of her life all the way up to the conflicts she's been having lately with Matt
about baby Maureen. In the hallway, Harley begins to cry until Lizzie comes
up to her and asks why she's crying. Harley explains it away by saying that
it's only allergies. Lillian walks up and says she is being paged and is
looking for a babysitter. Harley is about to leave as Lillian tells Lizzie
that she's going to have to go to childcare. Lizzie begins to whine about
this, so Harley turns around and tells Lillian that she could watch LIzzie for
a little while.

Blake's: Ross asks who she thought the roses were from, and Blake explains
that Ben had been at the door at the same time that they had been delivered.
Ross is surprised and asks what would ever give her the impression that Ben
had sent her flowers, but right then the phone rings and Ross must leave to go
talk to Griffin at the courthouse about the missing tape.

Ben's: Ben reaches for the phone to call security and Annie threatens to tell
Ross their secret. She says that her secret will make Ross the happiest man
walking the streets of Springfield and Ben doesn't want that does he? She
tel;ls him that he needs her in his corner, and she won't leave his office
without the money. She warns him not to make the same mistake that the rest
of Springfield did, "Don't count me out...ever!"

Lewis's: Josh admits that he went to see Annie to give her the letter that
Marah wrote her and on the way home got a call about Annie's escape. Frank
arrives and tells them that they will be under 24-hour police protection.
Frank and Josh say Annie's instinct for survival is stronger than that for
revenge and she's probably already left town, but Reva disagrees.

Ben's: Annie threatens to call Ross. She says that Ben will never survive in
this town because he needs friends like her. He tells her that he'll help
her.

Cedar's: Bill comes up to Buzz and Jenna who are in the hallway and asks them
what is going on. They tell him that Vanessa's heart stopped and he runs into
the room to see all the doctors working on the machines around Van, and Matt
holding her hand. Vanessa has visions of herself all thoughout her life, and
then Dr. Sedwick exclaims, "We've got a pulse!" Matt looks around and the
doctors still look upset, so he asks what is going on. Rick tells him that
Vanessa is in a coma and there's no telling when she is going to come out of
it.

Ben's: He calls Blake's house and leaves a message on the machine saying that
he wants to see the tape Shayne was talking about if Ross ever happens to find
it. Blake picks up the phone and yells at him, telling him that they all know
that he is the one who has it. Right then Ross walks into the office. He
says that he knows what Ben did and he won't let him get away with it. Ben
tells Blake to come down and find out about it if she wants to, and he hangs
up on her. Ross and Ben argue about if Ben has the tape. Ross says that Ben
will be disbarred, unless he gives him the tape right now

Cedar's: Harley tells Lizzie a slightly biased version of Cinderella, beause
"even though she knew she was the right one for the prince, she was still
scared that there was another maiden out there with a foot that fit the
slipper and longer blonde hair..." LIzzie informs her that that is *not* the
way the story goes and Cinderella had no need to be worried *at all.* Harley
nods in agreement.

Lewis's: Annie comes up to the guard at the back door in her uniform with her
hat pulled down low on her face. She tells him to go take a break. He tells
her to be careful, because he's heard "that this chick's a psycho." As he
walks off, Annie mutters to herself, "Yeah, I've heard that too..." Inside,
Marah comes downstairs and asks what's going on. Reva and Josh just tell her
that the police are looking for someone that they used to know. Reva walks
ouside the back door to gove the cops some coffe and Annie grabs her and
covers her mouth.

Ben's: Before Ross walks out, Ben offers him a plea bargain, which only makes
Ross more sure that Ben has the tape, and so he turns him down.

Cedar's: Bill apoligizes to his mother for not being there for her as she lies
in a coma and her spirit walks around the room and attempts to console Bill,
but he can't see or hear her.

Outside the Lewis house: Annie tells Reva that she's gonna pay for what she's
done. Marah runs out and see the struggle and screams for her daddy. Annie
runs off, but before she leaves she says that Reva won't know when and wn't
know where, but she'll be back for her.

Ben's: Behind the bookshelf, Ross tells Ben how he won't tolerate his
harassment of his wife, but Ben denies that, just as Blake walks in and tells
Ben that he won't get away with this, it won't be like getting her into bed.
Ross hears this and walks out looking stunned.

Cedar's: Vanessa realizes that everything is going dark, and thinks that it
must mean that she is dying. She walks towards the light to see Maureen who
gives her
old friend a hug.
