Ally's trying to get some shots of Azure and Danny. She tries to coach and reassure
her but Danny thinks he knows what she needs.

Steffi and Tony are having tea or something at a little shop. She's saying she
needs to help Ally and he's daydreaming. He tells her he was remembering her
without her clothes.

Jacob and Angie are in bed. She's very troubled and depressed. He gets up to give
her a hug but it doesn't help.

Sydney's on the phone talking to Douglas. She tells him to draw up the contracts
for the merger and they've saved two million. Also, she wants to know if he's
tackled the tenant problem. Tess is pounding on the door while Buck and Richard
stand by. Sydney finally answers the door.
S: "The neighbors, how lovely!"

opening

The trio enters the penthouse with Tess ranting and raving. Buck tells her to let
Richard do the talking. He tries to leave but Syd stops him.
T: "You want us out of this building? That's fine but you're going to have to blast
us out!"
S: "I appreciate that you've been inconvenienced..."
T: "No..I don't think you appreciate who you're dealing with here!"
S: "Oh, I wouldn't say that!"
T: "Well then I guess you know that I don't give up easily."
S: "We do have that in common. Samuel.. would you bring me those papers? I'd like
to read Miss Wilder the story of her life!"

Jacob tells Angie they'll deal with whatever is thrown their way including the kid
situation. She says it's not like she was planning on having a baby but she would
have liked the option. She gets up and leaves.

Steffi and Tony are talking about prurient thoughts.
T: "Prurient, well that's a five dollar word!"
S: "Un, huh."
T: "Let's see it means lascivious in thought and desire, right?"
S: "Un, huh."
T: "Yeah, I'd say that's me. You know what, Steff? I learned another word in my
vocabulary, cost much better, LOVE, means to hold dear and to cherish. I say that's
much better for now."
They kiss.

They leave the counter and move to the loveseat. She's embarassed about her big
stomach.
T: "Well, you know what, that just makes ..."
S: "If you say, "That makes more of you to love", I'm going to kill you, so just.."
T: "Yeah, more of you to love.. come here Steff, sit down. I don't think you
realize how beautiful you are!"
S: "Yes, I'm gorgeous!"
T: "No, you're better than gorgeous, you're beautiful! That's a "B" word!"
S: "Yeah well, wait'll you see me with my stretch marks, that's an "S" word!"
T: "Well I'm gonna love your stretch marks."
S: "Ah, I hope the camera loves my stretch marks."
T: "Well, if you're so worried about them, I know how to get rid of them."
S: "How do you get rid of them?"
T: "Olive oil!"
S: "Olive oil. Olive oil?"
T: "Yeah, it's an old Italian secret."
S: "What, am I going to drink it?"
T: "No, you rub it in, like this."
(He rubs her stomach, she giggles and pushes his hand away)
T: "What, this isn't the place, right? How about this, is this the place or is this
the place?" (he's tickling her)
S: "NO, stop it!"
T: "I think you're right this isn't the place."
S: "No, it's not!"
T: "Besides we don't have any olive oil."
S: "Or privacy."
T: "I think I know where we can have both."
S: "Oh you do, do you?"
T: "I know this girl, very, very nice girl!"
S: "uh-huh."
T: "She has a beautiful place on Green Street."
S: "Oh! What makes you so sure she'll let you use it?"
T: "Well, I can talk her into anything. This girl is crazy about me!"
They kiss.

Ally's watching with her arms crossed. Danny's telling Azure that he knows how she
feels.
D: "My first shoot, I was a total wreck!"
A: "And what is this, your second?"
Az: "It's all right, I'll be fine, really."
D: "It's easier than you think, all you have to do is stand there, smile and let
the camera do the rest."
A: "And all YOU have to do is get back on your mark. You think you can handle that?"
D: "Hey, I'm just trying to help out here!"
A: "I know what you're trying to do. Why don't you just keep your hands to yourself!"
(Bernardo comes in)
B: "Good idea!"
D: "Oh great! We have an aerobics teacher for a photographer, now we have a janitor
for an art director!"
B: "Yeah and a model that's gonna get his teeth down his throat!"
D: "You wanna start something, buddy? I'll be happy to oblige!"
A: "And I have a photo shoot that I would really like to finish here today, would
you PUL-EASE cut it out?"
D: "What does he get off, talkin' to me like that?"
A: "Why don't you just do your job, that is if you can stand working with an aerobics
instructor!"
D: "Look, I didn't exactly mean that."
A: "Yeah well, whatever."
D: "Look, I think you're pretty good!"
A: "Well, gee thanks Danny!"
D: "But you said it yourself. You're just starting out. Are you sure you need a job
like this?"
A: "Look, the only thing I'm sure of puts you and Azure for this new account. She
needs a portfolio as of yesterday! That's the ONLY thing I can think about!"
D: "All we need now is a miracle!"

Bernardo is talking to Azure. He's trying to reassure her and it seems to be working.

(Back to Danny and Ally)
D: "Look, Azure is beautiful she's a knockout!"
A: "Yeah, I'll make sure to let her know about that, okay?"
D: "There are alot of beautiful girls out there that don't come off in front of a
camera!"
A: "Says the expert!"
D: "You know it's the truth!"
A: "She'll be fine!"
D: "Wishing is not going to make it so and if she's not fine, we're all out of a job!"
A: "Why don't you just do YOUR job and stop hanging all over her?"
D: "Jealous?"
A: "AZURE!"

Angie's in the kitchen trying to make coffee. Jacob tries to help but Angie snaps
at him and then starts crying again. She apologizes and he asks her not to shut him
out.
J: "So what am I, a stranger, Angie. I love you, every bit of you, every piece of you!"
A: "It's not like this infertility thing comes as a shock. I knew there could be
side effects from the chemotherapy."
J: "Yeah well, there is a big difference between what could have been and what is, I
understand that!"
A: "Anyway, I had just put it out of my mind. I wasn't about to think of anything
major, and certainly not children. Until Charles and I were divorced, now I won't
have to think about it at all."
J: "You could think about the great kid you already have!"
A: "I thank God for Frank and like I said, having another child was never
especially an issue, until now. But I guess it's like alot of things. You never
really want something until you can't have it."
J: "Well, in my opinion, we have alot more than other people have."
A: "You DON'T have a child!"
J: "Yeah, where is it written in stone that says I HAVE to have a child?"
A: "You lost a son, Jacob. I know what that did to you!"
J: "Yeah, and I'm dealing with it and I've been dealing with it for awhile and...
I'm dealing!"
A: "I've had patients, I had friends who lost children and you know you never get
over it. Another child couldn't replace David but it's something I wanted to give
you. You deserve it..."
J: "Angie."
A: "And it's not fair to you!"
J: "Life is not fair! Baby look, I lost my wife and I lost my kid, that's not fair.
You lost Jesse, that's not fair. What are we supposed to do, rollover and die?
Actually, I just about did. I mean, I was pretty much dead. Until I met you and you
are so much more than I could ever dream for, baby. So maybe life IS fair, after
all, huh?"

Sydney is reading about Tess' life.
S: "And then you married Dante Partu(sp?). My Goodness, is that a real name? It
sounds like something out of a bad spy novel!"
T: "Look, Mrs. Chase.."
S: "An attempt was made on his life in Kuwait and then the job was finished in
Corinth."
T: "How dare you check up on me!"
S: "Clay Alden, now according to my sources, he was your partner in bed and in
business and he also died an untimely death!"
R: "Yeah, you had to have been there to appreciate HOW untimely it was, right?"
A: "Miss Wilder, these men in your life seem to have the bad habit of giving up the
ghost don't they!"
B: "Oh, I've had just about enough of this!"
S: "Ah, Mr. Huston. Now you were also in Kuwait. I'm sure it was just a
coincidence, but you know, someone with a suspicious mind could think that you two
were, um..."
(Richard whistles and adds a little gesture with his hands)
B: "Excuse me, but what do you think this is going to get you?"
S: "All of you out of my building, I hope."
B: "Well, maybe you should read the lease yourself!"
S: "Oh, I have it practically memorized. I keep a copy by my bed."
R: "Yeah, right next to your copy of Dr.Spock on how to be a good parent."
B: "Well, if you were up on the fine print, you'd know that Tess, I and all the
rest of us have a perfectly legal right to stay here!"
S: "Mr.Huston, you know people with a criminal background can be denied certain
rights!"
B: "Oh, criminal background, MY BUTT! Not one word of that garbage'll hold up in
court!"
S: "And I'm so hoping that it won't come to that!"
B: "Yeah, because you know you don't have a prayer!"
S: "I think it's fairly obvious that we're all victims of my son's machinations!"
R: "Oh poor Sydney, poor everyone, huh?"
S: "He invited you here without my knowledge or consent. Now if it were up to me,
I'm sure we could work something out but I don't own this building. My husband
owns the building and he is absolutely furious!"
R: "It's so typical of you. When the going gets rough, hide behind the great man, huh?"
S: "Would you like to speak to him Richard, and hear his views?"
R: "No, no I would not like to speak to him, I take your word for it!"
S: "Well, I've actually said everything there is to say."
T: "If your husband's trying to throw us out, the least he can do is talk to us."
S: "Samuel, would you mind getting Mr.Chase on the phone for me, please? I really
don't know what you hope to accomplish."
T: "Ha, according to you, I don't have anything to lose!"
S: "If you're thinking of using your "wilds", such as they are, on Jared, I'd think
twice. He's absolutely "wild" proof!"
T: "A girl does what she can!"
S: "A girl is really asking for it!"
(Sydney goes to the desk and picks up the phone)
S: "Jared?"
J: "What's the problem?"
S: "Oh, Richard is here with some of his friends!"
(She asks Richard if he'd like to say hello)
R: "No, I would not like to say hello. I haven't spoken to him in three years, I'm
not going to start now!"
S: "Richard's a little indisposed, Darling."
T: "I'll say hi!"
(Tess goes to the phone)
T: "Hello Mr. Chase, this is Tess Wilder, I'm leasing the building from you?"
J: "I know who you are Miss Wilder. I also know what this call is about."
T: "Well, then maybe you could tell us how you intend to throw us out!"
J: "I'm afraid the matter isn't open to discussion."
T: "Well, then I'm afraid you're going to have a fight on your hands, Mr.Chase!"
J: "I've had many of them Miss Wilder. I haven't lost one yet and even YOU must
realize I won't lose this one!"
T: "I wouldn't be too sure about that!"
J: "Considering our relative positions, I'm quite sure!"
T: "Mr. Chase, even YOU can't buy the law!"
J: "You know better than that! If you have enough money you can buy anything. It's
been delightful speaking to you."
S: "Well now, that we all understand each other, if you have any
problems with relocation or moving, Samuel has a long list of numbers."
R: "Mum's a peach, isn't she!"

Tony and Stephanie show up at the agency. Danny tells her they could use her help.
She excuses herself and goes to assist Ally. Everything seems to be fine. She asks
if Ally will need her.
A: "Why?"
S: "Something came up."
A: "Oh, like Mr.Soleito?"
S: "Yes, like Mr. Soleito."
A: "I don't even want to hear about it. Fine."
S: "So you don't want to. Okay."
(Tony and Danny approach)
T: "My communion days are over. So as of tomorrow you have a roommate!"
D: "I didn't say you could."
T: "I didn't exactly ask. Oh, and Danny.. if you snore, get over it!"
D: "I wouldn't exactly go burnin' my Brooklyn Bridges if I were you!"
T: "Oh no, and why is that?"
D: "As much faith as I have in my sister's legal chops, we could all be out on our
butts by the end of the week!"

The photo shoot commences. Bernardo is in the background for moral support as Azure
does her thing.

Angie and Jacob are still talking. She asks how he'll feel in a year or two.
J: "Could we just try to get through tomorrow?"
A: "I'm serious!"
J: "Nice to meet you serious! I'm Jacob!"
A: "Are you ready to spend the rest of your life with me knowing I could never give
you a child?"
J: "Ready, willing, and able, Mabel!"
A: "Oh, okay, if you don't want to talk about it."
J: "I DO want to talk about this, Angie. I love you, more than I can even say and
if you keep trying to tell me I need anything more than that, I'm going to
lip-thrash you!"
(He starts kissing her)
J: "..just keep kissin' you, till I suck that dumb idea right out of your brain,
you hear me?"

Sydney is coming downstairs in the penthouse and asks why Richard is still there.
R: "Okay. Let's talk about what this is REALLY about, all right?"
S: "I think we all know what this is about."
R: "Yes. This is about you being po'd at me and you're taking it out on them, right?"
S: "Oh Richard, don't try to shift the blame and please, clean up your vocabulary.
Look, you started this little game, I didn't!"
R: "Yes and now the game is over. It's finished!"
S: "Oh absolutely and I would like all of you out of here, right now!"
R: "Okay. Fine. All right. I want you two to come to the television studio with me
because I can see a human interest story in this for"Hotline". David verses
Goliath, Sydney Chase who doesn't seem to beleive that human interest begins at
home. What do you think of that Mumsy? hum?"
S: "I think it has definite possibilities. Samuel, would you get me Dennis Thompson
of "Hotline"?"
R: "Ah, look if you think you're going to stop Dennis putting a show on the air,
that'll put the writings through the roof, you've got another thing coming! He
won't do it!"
S: "Oh, perish the thought!"
R: "You may own this station, but he's the producer and there's one thing about
Dennis, doesn't like people telling him what he can and can't put on the air!"
(Sydney answers the phone)
S: "Dennis! Hi, Sydney Chase. Yes, I wanted to talk about Richard. No, no, no
nothing like that. I want him fired! I've never been more serious, Dennis.
Thank-you for your time!"
(she hangs up)
S: "Well Darling, you've got your story, unfortunately, no where to tell it!"
