LOVING Mini-Update for Friday, November 10:
(The final day in Corinth...)

STORYLINE: THE *BREWSTER ESTATE*?
           (location: Le Bistro)
* Deborah is on the phone, having something delivered to the "Brewster
Estate, formerly the Alden Mansion." "Send two of everything!" She
hangs up as Lenox enters. He says he must protest the changes she is
making at the mansion. "I cannot allow it." She says he doesn't work
there any more. He says he begs to differ.
* She tells him that when the papers are signed, *if and when* she
chooses to have servants, they will have less insurrection in their
blood than he does. He tells her that she should read Isabelle and
Cabot's wills: they require his services be retained "in perpetuity."
"I come with the house, 'til death do us part."
* She asks why he can't be a servant somewhere else. He says he has a
sense of loyalty to the family and, once again, he can't allow her to
turn the Mansion into a vulgar abomination. "Lenox, you don't like me
very much, do you?" Lenox says his personal feelings don't interfere
with his duties. He says he said what he came to say and leaves. She
asks the heavens where Clay is. A deliveryman [Dennis Parlato (who
played Clay), wearing a moustache] brings some baguettes. She tells
the heavens, "that was fast, even for you."
* She asks who he is and who put him up to this. He asks her to sign
for the baguettes. She tugs on the moustache. It's "real." She
signs, and he turns to leave. She tells him to sit down and she will
make him the best capuccino he has ever had. He shrugs and sits down.

STORYLINE: HAPPY ENDING FOR KATE
           (location: Le Bistro)
* Neal and Kate are having dinner. She says she is glad she hired him
away from Deborah. He says it may have been more than that.
* He says that he agrees with Ally: change is good. And he is talking
about a bigger change for the two of them than an employment situation.
* He says he knows they haven't really been courting, but...would you
 marry me?
* Kate says she had no idea. He says he's sorry for blurting it out
like that, so just forget it. "Yes." "What?" "Yes to life."

STORYLINE: CHANGES OF PLANS
           (location: Airport)
* Tony tells Stephanie that there has been a slight change of plans.
* She says that's great: now he can come with her. He tells her that
he thought the same thing, but that Charles had a different take on
things -- there's a lot of paperwork to do. She can't believe that!
He says it will only be for a little while. She says that, even though
it isn't his fault, every time she gets close to someone, one of them
 goes away. They hug.
* He tells her that their romance will be like nothing like she's ever
seen. He forces her to say she believes him. She says she *guesses*
they have phones in New York. He gives Duke to her again, but they
hear the boarding call for her flight.
[At Charles' apartment.]
Charles calls the Corinth airport...
* [At the airport.]
He has her repeat after him: "Tony is not Cooper. He'll be with me
soon, forever." He kisses her. They go to the counter to get her
plane ticket. The agent hands her a ticket, then says he must be Mr.
Soleito. Yeah. She hands him a ticket. They have two seats together
for the two of them. He asks if this is some kind of mistake. They
walk away from the counter and open his ticket. There's a FAX from
Charles: "I'll send your things. And remember, you owe me, Soleito."
They both celebrate! "I'm going to New York!"

STORYLINE: WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN
           (starting location: Charles' hotel room)
* Charles continues to listen to his voice mail, where Lorrain and
Jacob are discussing Charles and Angie. He picks up the phone and
dials the station. He says he'll be out for a while; he has something
to do and he doesn't know how long it will take. He slowly takes his
wedding band off and sets it next to the phone.
[At Lorraine's apartment.]
She is on the phone, telling the caller yes, she'll work a double shift
today (because another housekeeper is sick). She'll be there in an
 hour. She hangs up.
* She turns on some music: _When A Man Loves A Woman_.
[At Charles' hotel room.]
He is getting dressed up and humming the same song. A deliveryman
comes by with flowers. Charles gives him a big tip, and he says he
hopes the flowers "work." Charles says he does, too.
* [At Lorraine's apartment.]
She flashes back to dancing with Charles. She tells herself to stop
it: she and Charles "will never be."
* There's a knock at the door: it's Charles, wearing a nice suit and
holding the flowers. She says he looks as handsome as he did at that
Christmas dance. He says she is more beautiful. He tells her he had
some things to work out, but he's positive now. The flowers are the
same ones he gave her on that night. "Shall we dance?" She sets the
flowers down and starts to dance with him.

STORYLINE: YOU ARE NOW LEAVING CORINTH
           (location: Angie's house)
* Jacob and Angie are packing up his car for their trip to New York
City. She seems to be a little bit unsure of herself. He asks if
 anything is wrong.
* She says she is being impulsive and following her heart, and that is
different for her. She asks if he isn't a bit afraid, too. He says
the only thing he is afraid of is not living up to her expectations.
She reassures him that if they are together, nothing could be wrong.
 They kiss.
* None.
* At the "You are now leaving CORINTH" sign, Jacob stops the car. He
gets out, opens her door and she gets out. He says the last time he
stopped there, his life took a big turn. He had some unfinished
business then, and now it's concluded, and he is not turning back this
time. She says that's just fine with her. They kiss.
[To the camera:]
Angie: "Well, don't just sit there staring, you peeping toms. Come on,
 let's go!"
Jacob: "We're going to New York, you all. Follow us. You won't believe
what they've got waiting for us there."
Angie: "We're gonna be..."
Both: "Livin' for THE CITY."
They high-five and get back in the car.
