LOVING Mini-Update for Friday, November 3:

STORYLINE: ADIOS, CORINTH
           (location: Wilder agency)
* Tess is packing for her move to THE CITY.
* None.
* She talks to a mover about items in a box, all of which represent
memories. We see flashbacks of Cabot as a pineapple, Buck drinking a
soda and Tess opening a hat box and finding a skunk.
* The mover takes the box. Tess walks around her office nostalgically,
then turns the light off and closes the door. As she pauses at the
receptionist's desk, we flash back to some of the other events at the
[Hunter-]Wilder agency. Tess then walks out the front door.

STORYLINE: ADIOS, CORINTH -- NOT!
           (location: Kate's house)
* Neal comes downstairs with a suitcase. Kate tells him to "march that
 suitcase back upstairs."
* He accuses her of being a mother; she accuses him of being a child.
She suggests that he just stay put in her big house. He says he never
should have come back. He says that losing Gwyneth made him realize
how little he has. Kate says he has a lot -- right upstairs. She goes
up, telling him not to move.
* None.
* Kate brings an album down from the attic. She turns to the back and
tells Neal that she has had bad memories too, but the best part is
these -- the blank pages. She says she believes we have to live life
to its fullest, and asks him to stay and help her fill some of those
 blank pages. Neal smiles.

STORYLINE: ANGIE OR LORRAINE?
           (location: Lorraine's house)
* Charles drags Lorraine home. She wants him to leave, but he won't.
* She says she didn't want him to see her like this. He says he just
sees a beautiful woman. She says she tried to get over him, but now
all of those old feelings are back and she doesn't know what to do.
* He says he never meant to mess things up. She talks as though she is
ashamed about trying to "move right in" when he and Angie had a small
problem, and that he probably hates her. He says he couldn't hate her.
* She asks why he's not leaving. He says he doesn't know. He takes
her arm and kisses her. He then pulls back. "Angie, huh?" "No, it's
you." "Too drunk?" "Lorrie, if anything happens between us, I want
to make sure that you know exactly what you're doing." He says he has
always cared about her very much and he always will. He says there is
something he has to go take care of. He leaves.

STORYLINE: RICHARD CONTINUES TO ANNOY...
           (location: Le Bistro)
* Ally is, once again, attempting to convince Stephanie that she is
innocent of murdering Gwyneth and that she should come to THE CITY.
Stephy says that she wants to stay for a number of reasons, including
her mother...and "this guy" (namely, Tony) who she doesn't want to
 have to deal with.
Meanwhile, at another table, Richard is trying to pump Tony for
 information about Gwyn's death.
* Richard comes over to Ally's table. She says she doesn't recall
inviting him over; he says he'll forgive the oversight. He asks if
she wants to unburden herself of any information about Gwyn's death
that she forgot to tell the police.
* Ally says that the police have the whole story. He says that the
police only *think* they have the whole story. She leaves, uneasily,
 to make a phone call.
* Ally approaches Stephanie and Tony, saying that she is trying to avoid
a kangaroo. Stephy tells her that Tony knows about Gwyn. Tony leaves
to "take care of the kangaroo." Ally can't believe she told Tony, and
says that was taking a big chance. Stephanie says that those are the
ones worth taking, and this one is really paying off.
Tony tells him to lay off Ally. He says that Richard deserved the punch
Alex laid on him. Richard *agrees*! Tony is amazed -- all of this is
really *not* personal. Richard asks a riddle: how did Gwyn Alden end
up dead? Tony says it is because that is the only way it *could* have
ended up, and asks him to leave her dead. As Stephanie and Ally come
to the table, Richard leaves, saying that he agrees with Ally: Stephy
will do *sensational* in New York.
Stephanie tells Tony that Ally is trying to convince her to go to NY.
Tony says that if the issue is Deborah, he'll stay in Corinth and keep
 her under control.

STORYLINE: A CUSTOMER'S BIG MISTAKE
           (location: Le Bistro)
* Deborah is trying to get $7.35 for a breakfast out of a customer.
He doesn't have the money. She calls to Tony, saying that he is
"trying to kill her." Tony pretty much ignores her.
* She calls out, "does nobody here care if I live or die?" Tony and
Stephanie come up to try to help. Tony shoos the customer away and
pays for his breakfast, giving her a lottery ticket the customer had
as a tip. Stephanie reassures Deborah that everything will be OK.
* Tony says he's glad both of them are here, because he has something
to say: he wants to "keep things proper" between the two of them.
Deborah interrupts him and tells him that the answer is YES, she would
love to have him as a son-in-law.
* Stephanie steps in, saying that this is not a proposal. Tony says he
has been in love with Stephy for a long time. Deborah says she liked
him from the first moment she met him. A customer screams for some
service. Deborah leaves to provide it.
Later, Deborah checks the lottery numbers in the paper and lets off a
 huge scream...
