Subject: LOV: Update Monday, November 28, 1994
Status: R

Debbie is on vacation and she left me with the responsibility to do
the update today. Last I knew, we saw 10 minutes of the end of
Thursday's show - and no Friday show. So, here's the latest from
Corinth.

Cooper's jailer said he's been sitting like that all night. What else
is there to do? Cooper sighs. Waiting for your girlfriend to come
back? No, Steffi's not coming back, Cooper says.

Steffi finds Angie. Steffi tries to back out thinking Angie is
busy. She is not busy, she was eating lunch, Angie says. Oh, well, she
doesn't want to interrupt. Angie says she just finished. Steffi tells
her it's not a big deal. You're wrong, Angie says, it IS a big deal.

Trucker comes home for lunch with Dinah Lee. She asks where Jeremy's
paintings are. He put them away, why? She needs to see them again, she
says.

JillBear appologizes for being away so long. Ava says she was worried
that he wasn't coming back.

She says how can she NOT feel something, seeing him hold his brother
in his arms? Ava says. Even though he caused the problem? JillBear
asks. She did feel something, JillBear says, before all this. She said
he was capable of loving someone, not thinking of herself...JillBear
says. Ava says he is right, she wasn't thinking of herself. She does
have feelings for him, but she doesn't know what those feelings are,
she has a certain kind of feeling...Ava says. Like friends? JillBear
says. You want us to be friends?

Trucker gets the paintings down and says there they are. Okay? The
meter's running, Trucker says. They kiss and head upstairs. Oops,
Buck's back from the park with Chris. Meter ran out, Dinah Lee
says. Trucker tells Dinah Lee he got a mitt for Chris, and he asks her
to go get it. Buck says he's just gonna pick up a change of clothes
and then he's off again. Chris is playing with the pictures. Trucker
stops him.

Steffi tells Angie that she is not starving herself, she is not
making herself throw up. Angie says that there comes a time when you
don't have to. It's frightening when you don't feel in control of your
body. Steffi is adament that it's not a problem and Angie is blowing
it all out of proportion. Angie tells her the bad side, losing tooth
enamel and so on. Angie tells her the first step is to admit she is
not in control. Steffi breaks down and says she is not in control. Of
ANYTHING.

Clay tells Charles that it's good of him to come so quickly. It's nice
to know, Clay says, that his tax money is being well-spent. Charles
tells him he understands what Cooper was talking about, Clay just
throws the Alden influence around. No, Clay says, Charles doesn't
understand. Clay knows Charles arranged Cooper's furlough to the
hospital. Clay tells Charles he alligned himself with the wrong Alden.

Trucker tells Chris that these aren't toys (meaning the
paintings). Trucker sends him upstairs to find Dinah Lee. Buck says he
has to be going. To Tess? Trucker asks. Yeah, Buck says. Trucker says
things are getting serious; people who spend all this time together
are usually serious. Buck says not for them. Oh right, Trucker says,
they're just two people hanging out. Buck says he and Tess talked, he
told her he can't get together with anyone until he gets together with
himself. He tells Trucker he still feels sorry about the accident, and
Dinah Lee. Trucker syas she's better. Dinah Lee says Trucker is right,
and if Buck would spend more time with them, he'd realize that.

Steffi appologizes and wants to leave. Angie wants to go with her for
a walk in the park. Meanwhile, Clay tells Charles that he's the only
one that knows about the real Cooper. Cooper can buy policemen, any one
he needs. Cooper can run Clay down and get away with it, he can sleep
with his girlfriend's mother. Angie and Steffi go by the room, Clay
says Steffi, did you know Cooper was out of jail for an hour? Angie
says she doesn't have to listen. Did he come to see the woman he says
he loves? No, he came to see me, Clay says. Forget him, Steffi. He's
bad news. Steffi runs off.

Angie comes back. Charles asks where Steffi is. She lost her. Way to
go, Clay, Charles says. Angie says Steffi is SICK. How is she? Clay
asks. Do you really care? Angie asks. And Clay was talking about Cooper
being out for himself. Clay KNOWS Cooper was on release to see him,
but did he mention THAT! Charles says. Clay says Cooper caame to see
him, but an innocent man doesn't try to make a deal. Cooepr took his
legs, and almost his life. Charles says Cooper says Clay is out to
take something from Cooper. Clay says even though Cooper is family, he
hopes he rots in jail.

At the jail, Steffi goes to visit Cooper, but he's asleep. She tells
the jailer not to wake him, it'll be easier this way. (Then it was all
visual, and not having a TV (yet?), I am at a loss.)

JillBear tells Ava if he wanted companiship, he would have gotten a
dog! JillBear tells her it's too late, he's leaving them, and for good
this time. Once he gets the money from Burnell's, he's out of
here. Ava says he'll let them go? No, JillBear says. But it could be
days, or weeks or months before someone finds them! They could be
dead! Ava screams. Where is his HEART! He gave it to her, and she
threw it away, JillBear says.

Buck is thrilled that Dinah Lee is better. He wants to stay home and
celebrate, he tells Trucker she'll understand. He calls her and tells
her that he can't come over tonight, he's gonna stay home with Trucker
and Dinah Lee. Yeah, he says, she's better, and they're celebrating.
He hangs up, then leaves (for food?). The phone rings, and Dinah Lee
says she'll get it. It's Curtis, who tells her not to hang up. Where
is he? she asks. He's at Duellen, He has something important to tell
her. Well, he should call his mother, she suggests. He tried, and he
tried Alex. What's so important? Dinah Lee asks. It's about Jeremy,
Curtis says, he's figured out Jeremy's secret.
