Subject: LOV: Update Tuesday, November 8, 1994
Status: R

Jennifer (usual Tuesday updater) is not available to do today's
update, so I volunteered to do it. As usual, here is the audio version
of what's going on in Corinth. I'll appologize now for the ending, but
I'm sure the Wednesday updater will see it...OH! I'm the Wednesday
updater...no, wait, Debbie (Monday) traded...so she promises to look
and fill in the blanks about the ending. I do so want a little TV for
Christmas! (Keep your fingers crossed for me.)

Here's yesterday's "hanger"...
        Will-JillBear-tell-the-truth-and-
        will-Deborah-strip-and-
        will-Steffi-find-them-and-
        it-sure-seems-like-a-Friday-hanger-hanger

Deborah tries the door. It's locked. Cooper says that it doesn't lock
automatically. They try the door, bang on the door, pound on the door,
try the door. Cooper wonders if she slammed it when she came
in. Deborah says she has to get out of the dress. Cooper says the
caterers have to come for this stuff sooner or later. What's she
gonna do Deborah asks, pop out of the cake? Cooper says she's be the
best.

Steffi grabs the envelope and looks at the photo, over Clay's
protest. She sees the doctored photo of Cooper and Deborah making
love. She runs out to the terrace, where everyone screams SURPRISE!

Alex goes to Kate's to pick up the kids. Ally and Casey are there,
dropping off Tyler. They laugh about Kate's day and night care. They
say they are going to Steffi's party. They ask what Alex and Ava are
doing tonight.

Ava says she loves Alex, and Jeremy accepted that when Alex came
back. Jeremy (JillBear) says he is not Jeremy, he is JillBear, Jeremy's
twin brother.

Alex says Ava is working late. Ally tells Casey to go check on Tyler's
blanket. She tells him that she's an overprotective mother and she
won't rest easy unless Tyler has his blanket. Ally gets Alex to tell
her that he is upset that Ava is working with Jeremy. Nothing Jeremy
does surprises him, Alex says.

Ava says have you gone mad? Jeremy says this was a cruel joke. He tells
her to go home to Alex. Ava says he is NOT Jeremy. Alex was right...he
is NOT JEREMY. The things he says, the way he handles business, the
way he kissed her. It was different? JillBear asks. He was hoping
she'd notice.

Steffi runs back into the house. Everyone on the terrace wonders why
Steffi is freaked out. Steffi asks Clay why he brought this to
her. She tells him that she works with photographers, this can be
faked easily! Clay says he didn't know she would be here this
early. Steffi is crying. Clay says this is not his fault. OF COURSE
NOT! Stffi cries, nothing is ever HIS FAULT. She asks Lenox where
Cooper is. He says he doesn't know. She demands to know. He tells her
the carriage house.

Meanwhile, Cooper asks Deborah if it's better now that the dress is
off. No, she says, she can't believe the cleaners used the soap she's
allergic to). Cooper is offering his shirt to Deborah. He takes it
off, as Steffi comes in the door (so, Cooper is shirtlesas, Deborah is
dressless...not a good thing to see for someone who just saw a picture
of them two making love.)

Deborah says good thing she is here. They are happy to see
here. Steffi is upset. Deborah tells her that this is not what it
looks like. Cooper tells Deborah to go to the house; he'll handle
this. Cooper tells her that the secret phone calls and the meetings
were for the secret birthday party. Steffi says, oh, yeah, the party
(sob sob). Cooper tells her about the dress and the detergent and the
locked door, which Steffi says was NOT locked; it was wide open,
actually. Steffi cries and Cooper tells her that the idea of the two
of them (Cooper and Deborah) is ridiculous; he can't stand her mother.
Steffi says it wouldn't be the first time she's taken something from
her. Steffi says she saw the photos! Clay was bringing them to
Cooper. Cooper says Clay set this all up! Cooper tells her that he
loves her, there is no one else, surely she understands that. Steffi
says she doesn't understand anything anymore. She runs out.

Ava says she does NOT love him, she loves Alex. Finally she says,
WAIT! If you're not Jeremy, what did you do to him! JillBear says he's
sorry, he never meant for this to happen, and he knocks Ava out.

Alex rounds up the kids, telling them they're going home. Will Mommy
be there? Sandy asks. Alex says yes, no, he's not sure. He calls Ava's
office, and leaves a message on the machine, while trying to get the
kids dressed and ready to go. He says he's sorry they fought, he wants
to not talk about it, put her coat on (talkign to Sandy about Alexis),
and make sure she has shoes (to Sandy), and he just wants to put his
arms around her and hold her (to Ava's machine).

Ally tells Casey that she is not in the partying mood. Casey asks if
Alex and Ava had another fight. Ally says yeah, and it's a bad one.
Casey says it won't last, people in love always make up. Frankie and
some people come over and say that Steffi was already here and she was
not happy. Clay comes in and says the party is over. Cooper comes over
and he fights Clay. People pull Clay and Cooper apart. Cooepr tells
Clay he'll pay for this. (ed. note: there's one threat)

Deborah sees Steffi and stops her and asks if Cooper explained. Steffi
says yeah, he tried. Something about detergent and a locked door.
Deborah says it's all true. Deborah tells Steffi that she is not
getting it on with Cooper. Steffi says this is not the first time that
her mother has taken her boyfriend. Deborah says Cooper is half her
age. Steffi says there is PROOF. PHOTOS! Deborah says there can't be,
nothing ever happened. Steffi says Clay gave her the pictures. Deborah
tells Steffi that Clay set this all up! Steffi says she is not angry
with her mother, she actually feels nothing for her. Steffi says she
knows Clay did this; he took something that was special to her and
turned it into nothing. She'll hate him forever for this. (ed. note,
motive two and three)
