				LOVing Update
			    Tuesday, October 24th, 1994

Today's episode finds us with 3 storylines:

Hot Shot with Ally and Casey
She's Shot with Curtis, Gwyn and Gilbert
Shot Down? with Buck, Tess and Stacey

[Hot Shot]

Replay of Monday's scene of Ally finding Casey at the bar/restaurant. He
tells her he's buzzed, but when she kisses him she realizes that he
hasn't been drinking. She demands to know how he's buzzed if he's not
drinking. But Casey talks his way out of it saying he never said he'd
been drinking, and he's buzzed from ... her! Her backbone disappears and
she buys the lie, becomes all sweet and pliable, kisses him and
apologizes for sounding like a nagging wife!

Mike and the boys come back in, saying they couldn't get into Chaos!
because the bouncer they knew wasn't working. Casey says they're going
home, but Ally convinces him to stay so they can both have some fun since
Cooper has Tyler. Ally tries to fit it with the group, they mention some
group of which Ally is a fan, and the group lightens up and accepts her.
Later as they're sitting there, Ally starts to yawn. They tease her and
she laughs, and goes to the bathroom to splash some cold water on her
face.

Meanwhile only Casey and Mike are left at the table. Casey decides to
take Ally home after realizing she was up at 6am with Tyler. He takes
out money to cover the tab with Mike ... Here's a few bucks, we only had
a couple of sodas ... Uh, aren't you forgetting another tab? .. Yeah,
right. The food, $20 should cover it ... No Casey, you're forgetting
about the stuff ... what? You want me to pay for that? ... Uh huh ...
uh, how much ... $100 ought to cover it ... $100! I don't have that kind
of cash on me ... Did you think this stuff was for free? Maybe the first
time, but ... Casey doesn't have the money on him but promises to get it
to Mike the next day. Ally returns and Casey takes her home.

[She's Shot]

Replay of Curtis in Jeremy's house pointing the gun wildly around the
house at the phantom Dante. Gwyn enters. Curtis thinks she's Dante and
points the gun on her. Gwyn tries to reason with Curtis then realizes
that he doesn't even know who she is. She tries to remind him of things
only she as his mother would know about his childhood. Curtis wonders
how Dante knows these things, but concludes it's just another trick from
Dante. Gwyn slowly enters the house and tries to approach Curtis, all
the while persuading him to drop the gun. Curtis is shaking with emotion
and won't do it. He vows to stop Dante this time. Gwyn cries that she's
not Dante. Gilbert enters the doorway and makes a running leap towards
Gwyn, just as Curtis pulls the trigger. Gwyn is knocked backwards by the
force of the blow into Gilbert's arms, and she and Gilbert fall to the
floor, Gwyn passing out and Gilbert looking horrified.

Curtis laughs, relieved that he's finally gotten rid of his enemy.

Gilbert screams at Curtis ... IT WAS YOUR MOTHER! ... Curtis comes out of
his lunatic haze and realizes what he's done. Gilbert starts mouth to
mouth on Gwyn trying to revive her. He tells Curtis she is alive, no
thanks to him!, and orders Curtis to call 911. Curtis complies then
flees the scene. Gilbert is left alone with Gwyn and is almost crying as
he tries to keep her from slipping off to oblivion, all the while telling
her he's so sorry, it's all his fault ...

[Shot Down?]

Tess and Buck are finally having the grilled steak dinner together at the
Tides. They're just about to start eating when the phone rings. It's
Stacey and she's looking for Trucker. Sorry, Trucker and Dinah Lee are
in NY visiting Hannah. Buck finally gets her to admit that she called
because her dishwasher broke and there's water everywhere. Buck (the
Galant) tells her he'll be right over. So much for dinner with Tess.
Tess says she understands, that she'll eat without him since she's
starved, and Buck (the Dense) rushes off to save Stacey. Tess curses and
pushes her food around the plate as she sits alone at the Tides.

At Stacey's, Buck fixes the dishwasher and makes Stacey a cup of her
favorite tea to boot. JJ is spending the night somewhere, and Heather is
in bed. The two old lovers share a tender moment. Stacey breaks down
and asks Buck why he left her. He says he was always trying to be
someone he's not when he was with her. She said he didn't have to be.
She tells him she still loves him! They share a passionate kiss as Tess
is lurking outside in the shadows watching. Buck breaks away, Stacey
wants to continue. Buck hesitates and somehow mentions Janie. Stacey
realizes he needs forgiveness. She tells him she forgives him, and
kisses him again. But Buck (the not so Dense now) breaks it off and
walks out the door. Of course Tess doesn't see this part, cause she
split after the first kiss and avowal of love.

Tess is now back at the Tides and Curtis comes in. He's frantically
looking for Buck. He's muttering about making at least one thing right.
Tess tells him that Buck's not there. Curtis is agitated and Tess gets
him to confide in her. Curtis confesses to tampering with the plane! He
is almost incoherent but Tess figures out that Curtis did something to
the plane so it wasn't Buck's fault that Janie died! Tess convinces
Curtis not to tell anyone else about this. After all he's done enough to
Dinah Lee, and he doesn't need to lay this on her too. So Curtis leaves
(never having told her he just shot his mother). Now Tess is delighted
because *she* can give Buck the forgiveness he needs, and Stacey can't!
The scene ends with her contemplating this fact and awaiting Buck's
return ...

[One year ago ...]

The infamous fishing trip between Buck and Stacey where she
out-outdoorsman's him. But she realizes her blunder, acts scared of a
spider and they make love in the middle of the afternoon in the woods.
Casey and Ally have split up, and Cooper moves in for the spoils.
Smartly, he lets Ally make the moves and they decide to take it slow, but
together! We find out that some mystery man is stalking Clay and Clay's
family.

Sorry this is so late!
