				LOVing Update
			    Tuesday, October 18th, 1994

Today's episode finds us with 3 HILLARIOUS storylines, I laughed, and
laughed and laughed today!:

The Exorcist with Curtis, Gilbert and Dante
The Elevator with Tess, Buck, Jeremy and Gilbert
The Exhausted Husband	with Ava and Alex

[The Exorcist]

Replay of Gilbert sitting at Jeremy's desk at the Agency while he takes a
call from the Real Estate Agency. He's not paying any attention to her
until she mentions that Tess is viewing an old abandonded warehouse at
5th and Main. He abrubtly hangs up on her and grabs his coat to rush
over to the warehouse where he has Jeremy stashed ... when Curtis enters
the office wearing a big jacket and carrying a bag. Gilbert throws up
his hands in disgust and demands to know why Curtis is there, saying he's
in a hurry and has to leave. Curtis whips out a gun, points it at
Gilbert and tells him ... You're not going anywhere (levels the gun at
Gilbert), I'm going to save your soul ....

Gilbert laughs at first and stops laughing once he realizes the gun
pointed at him is loaded. Curtis is shaking with determination. Gilbert
mutters that dealing with a crazed lunatic is the last thing he wanted to
do. Curtis explains that he believs Dante has taken over Jeremy's soul
and that he is going to perform and excorcism! Gilbert does this
hillarious act to play along with Curtis. He says he's so happy that
someone has realized what's going on, that it's so hard to live with two
people inside you. He grabs his own throat and starts talking in two
voices ... Curtis help me ... Stop it! We have lots of work to do ..
Curtis, hurry ... No we have to go now ... Meanwhile Curtis is fumbling
with his bag and takes out a bible, a bottle of holy water and another
book as Gilbert keeps acting possessed and Curtis keeps the gun pointed
at him. Curtis tries to open the book to the right page, Gilbert edges
closer to him, picks up the holy water, puts it down, Curtis takes his
attention from Gilbert to frantically turn pages in the book. Gilbert
seizes the oppurtunity and wrestles Curtis to the floor where he takes
the gun! He slaps Curtis and shouts ... I am not Dante! I am Jill ...
Jeremy! ... He stands up and drags a dazed and freightened Curtis up with
him. Gilbert yells at Curtis, pushes him around, and leaves to rush to
the warehouse.

Alone in the office, Curtis turns to the door and we see Dante slowly
materialize. At first Curtis is thrilled, thinking his excorcism worked!
But Dante laughs and says he was never inside Jeremy! Why, he's real.
And he's here to stay with Curtis. He chants ... Pussycat ... Curtis's
eyes are about to pop from his head, when Dante extends his hand inviting
Curtis to touch him to prove that he's real. Curtis slowly reaches out
and takes hold of Dante' arm. Dante grabs Curtis's hand and won't let it
go as Curtis tries to pull free. The camera pans to Curtis's panicked
face, then pulls back to show us Curtis, alone in the office, but with
his arm stretched out as if still in an invisible Dante's grip ....

[The Elevator]

At the abandonded warehouse where Gilbert has Jeremy imprisoned ...
Replay of Monday with Buck and Tess in the elevator where he's telling
her how beautiful she is, and they start to kiss. Shot of Jeremy lying
on the floor asleep. The elevator starts to move and Tess is happy that
they can get on with the location scouting. But Buck has other ideas.
They start going at it hot and heavy. Upstairs, Jeremy awakens when he
hears the elevator. He realizes that Gilbert always uses the stairs so
it must be someone else! He joyously starts to holler ... HELP!

Meanwhile in the elevator, Buck jams the elevator and the alarm bell
starts to ring! Effectively covering up Jeremy's cries for help.
The duo in the elevator start their love dance while I'm thinking of
the song "Love in an Elevator" and laughing! While they're ripping each
other's clothes off and grappling to the floor for some exciting (dusty)
sex, Jeremy is still upstairs screaming his head off. Tess tries to
turn off the alarm bell (which is really loud and piercing, but evidently
not too distracting :) ), but Buck remembers the thunder at Beldon Pond
and tells her it's just them making the noise.

Jeremy has now made his voice hoarse yelling for so long, and the sated
elevator adventurers sit up and start pulling their clothes back in
place. Both have smirks on their faces. Jeremy's still yelling. Buck
starts the elevator again which turns of the bell, but makes the elevator
motor kick in which once again blocks Jeremy's yelps for help. They're
on their way down instead of up to view the premises. Buck imperiously
tells Tess that they're leaving because he's not letting her get this
particular warehouse because he doesn't like the thought of her being in
this part of town alone. Tess doesn't mind this protectiveness and they
leave, leaving Jeremy *still* screaming upstairs.

Jeremy cries NO once he realizes that rescue (probably the first of many)
has eluded him and he sinks to the floor. Moments later we hear
footsteps coming up the stairs. Jeremy is ecstatic as he thinks his
rescuers have returned and starts screaming again. No such luck,
Jeremy's spirits are crushed as Gilbert enters laughing. He taunts
Jeremy and tells him that it was TESS who was so close, Jeremy looks
skyward and whispers brokenly, Tess ... Gilbert tells him that Tess was
looking for warehouse space and the Real Estate agent sent her here.
Gilbert thinks he should buy the place to get it off the market so no
more unwanted people come snooping around. Gilbert leaves telling Jeremy
no parties while he's gone ...

Buck takes Tess back to Kate's. They sit on the porch and talk. Tess
tries to keep it light, Buck says he doesn't regret what happened, she
doesn't either. Buck tells her she deserves someone who can commit but
that he's too messed up to be that someone. She soothes him and tells
him that it's ok, she thinks he's wonderful. They kiss and he leaves.
She walks to the porch railing and watches him leave and says quietly ...
Soon, very soon ...

[The Exhausted Husband]

Alex comes down the stairs at Kate's as Ava rushes in. She wonders where
the kids are (Kate just put them to bed) and why Alex called her. He
tells her that he has to work so she *has* to watch the kids. He's going
on a stake out with Charles. Ava is furious about him risking danger at
a stake out. Alex says too bad. They argue, she accuses him of breaking
his promise about no more dangerous work to get back at her for spending
so much time at Burnell's. He says that's ridiculous, it's just his job.
They're short handed at the station and this is something he *has* to do
and that he's *going* to do. He tells her he loves her, but she doesn't
understand why he's doing it. Because it's his job, period. He tells he
that he's been doing everything for the kids and now it's her turn! He
tells her she can't have everything! As he's walking out the door she
wants to know WHY she can't? ... Alex leaves shaking his head ...

[One year ago today]

Sorry, no one year ago, I was on vacation for my birthday - which is
Friday. I'm still wondering it that's going to be Steffi's birthday,
too? It'll be back next week ...

That's it for Tuesday!
