				LOVing Update
			    Tuesday, October 11th, 1994

Today's episode finds us with 4 storylines:

The Haunting with Curtis, Dante, Gwyn and Gilbert
The Boredom with Buck and Tess
The Suspicion with Dinah Lee, Trucker, Jeremy and Ava
The Chat with Alex, Kate and Ava

[The Haunting]

Curtis is alone in Gwyn's apartment when the doorbell rings. He answers
it and it's a guy dressed in a hospital uniform with a jacket over it.
Curtis is antsy and demands to see the records! The guy tells him how he
risked his job for the records but Curtis isn't impressed. Curtis grabs the
medical records of Jeremy Hunter and frantically searches them. There is
no trace of a brain tumor. The delivery guy makes a snide comment and
Curtis tells him to get lost, which he does after Curtis pays him and
tells him that he'll never use him again!

Curtis sits in the chair to ponder why Jeremy would say he had a brain
tumor, when he looks up and sees ... Dante! It's our old Dante, dressed
in black pants and a black turtleneck, looking as sinister as always.
And as always, he taunts Curtis. Curtis is shaking. Dante tells him
that he still has Curtis's cage and that while he's searched for another
pussycat none are like Curtis. Curtis yells at Dante telling him to
leave him alone! He wants to know why Dante is there? Dante tells him
because Curtis is troubled. Dante tells Curtis that Curtis is right,
nothing has taken possesion of Jeremy's brain ... but someone has taken
possesion of his soul! ... Curtis looks like he'll explode from emotion
at any moment, full of confusion and frieght, when Dante disappears.
*poof*, he's gone and Curtis is left staring off into space with a wild
look in his eyes.

Gwyn calls from the bedroom that she's almost ready to leave, and notices
his demeanor and questions him ... Curtis, you look like ... he calms
down, chuckles and replies ... what? like someone who's starving? C'mon
let's go get dinner ... She says she'll be another moment as he grabs his
jacket and heads for the door. As he opens it, guess who's standing
there? Gilbert! Curtis demands to know what the hell he's doing there?
Gwyn watches in dismay as Gilbert enters and Curtis verbally attacks him
about the brain tumor. Gilbert denies everything, Curtis insists that
Jeremy told him he had a brain tumor. Gwyn is looking extremely
concerned. Curtis stomps out to leave for dinner, telling Gwyn he'll
meet her there.

Alone now, Gilbert tries to comfort Gwyn. She can't understand why
Curtis would make something like this up. Gilbert tells her as he tries
to take her into a comforting embrace ... Gwynth, you know how much I
care about you and Curtis, but I think it's time that you consider
Instiutionalizing him ... Gwyn looks stricken as the scene fades ...

[The Boredom]

Buck and Tess are at Trucker's cabin. Buck doens't seem too thrilled to
be there. They spend the time with Tess picking up on these vibes, and
Buck trying to tell her everything's ok. After a ho-hum dinner attempt
they decide to return to Corinth. No wild passionate interlude here,
rather a boring one.

[The Suspicion]

Replay of yesterday's ending where Dinah Lee goes to get Jeremy's
painting out of the wrapper and the sketch of Jeremy and Gilbert as boys
falls to the floor, and Gilbert shouts ... Damn Him! ... when he sees it.
Ava grabs the drawing and admires it. Gilbert grabs it back saying he
hates it. Trucker wonders why he said "damn him" and Gilbert lies his
way out of it saying he was referring to the framing guy. He's
supposedly upset by the way the guy packaged the painting with the
drawing, fearing the painting would be smudged.

Ava makes a fuss over the drawing saying she likes it, Gilbert is frantic
saying it's not done and he doesn't like people looking at things of his
which he feels are inferior. Ava wants to keep the drawing, and frame
it. Gilbert grabs it and crumples it up, saying he will paint her
something if that's what she wants. Gilbert leads Dinah Lee over to the
table where he shows her "his" next painting, which is the second in
Jeremy's sequence of paintings that we know will spell HELP or something
when put together, and tells her to study it. She is watching him oddly.

Fashion note: Sorry guys, this new Dinah Lee just doesn't lend herself
to any fashion commentary! The BH made a comment that he was
mega-dissapointed with the replacement. She was wearing a skin tight red
turtleneck sweater with a print wrap around short skirt, but it was
nothing striking. Would it have been if the old Dinah Lee was wearing
it? Probably. This one's hair isn't even noticable, it was pulled back
in a ponytail so it didn't look quite as frizzy. I suppose I'll have to
leave it up to Steffi and maybe Ally to carry the fashion plates. Ava's
always dressed in suits with mini skirts, typically black to go with her
coloring. Gwyn? Nah, not since she's put on a few pounds. Possibly
Deborah. We'll have to wait and see ...

Ava and Jeremy leave. Dinah Lee tries to tell Trucker that she has an
uneasy feeling about Jeremy, that he's not the same. Trucker just thinks
that Dinah Lee is feeling pressured by Jeremy and changes the subject -
to them. He kisses her, and kisses her again and her thoughts are turned
to a different subject as the camera fades ...

[The Chat]

Kate and Alex are at the penthouse. Ava is supposed to be working late
and Kate has chipped in once again to make sure her grandkids and
son-in-law are fed. The kids have been tucked in, so are conveniently
out of sight.

They are chatting about Ava. Alex tells Kate that he's uneasy about
Jeremy. He confides his suspicions that Jeremy has changed somehow.
Kate chides him for being a jealous husband, telling him that they are in
a different phase of their relationship. The fiery honeymoon is over and
now they've settled into a calmer, well "routine". Alex says he can't
change that. Kate laughs ... Of course you can! ... How? .. Well now, if
I have to tell you that then you're not the son-in-law I thought you
were! It's time to mix things up a little bit Alex! ... Alex smiles as
he ponders that suggestion.

Ava breezes in wondering about the kids, and thanking Mama for feeding
them yet again. Kate asks how Dinah Lee was? Ava starts talking about
staying for the art therapy lesson, feels guilty when she mentions
Jeremy, but goes on to explain that Dinah Lee was sketching her! Kate
makes a hasty exit amidst Ava's pleas to stay. Kate smiles at Alex and
says she has to go and mix some things up ... Ava is confused but Alex is
smiling back at Kate.

As Kate leaves, Ava immediately starts explaining that nothing happened
with Jeremy, and that she's sorry about spending so much time away, but
she felt she should help her friend, blah, blah, blah ... when Alex tells
her to SHUT UP! She looks stunned for a moment, then Alex grabs her by
the waist and hoists her over his shoulder. He starts to carry her up
the stairs as she's still babbling away ... and he smacks her on the rear
and tells her to be quiet! ... No more babbling, but we hear them go up
the stairs, and the door to the bedroom slams shut! ...

[ONE YEAR AGO TODAY]

Shana is trying to escape the apartment and her enforced bedrest as an
ever watchful Leo won't let her risk going into premature labor. He
brings her knitting supplies (which she throws on the floor), books
(which follow the knitting stuff) and an electronic keyboard (which she
hurls at him). Angie calms her fears for the baby. Gwyn is pregnant with
Buck's baby and Clay and Stacey seem to be the only ones who know. Gwyn
tried to tell Buck about the baby, but told him about the Alden Enterprises
jet instead. When Buck and Stacey talk, she's talking about a baby and he's
talking about a jet, saying it's no big deal, and Stacey punches him in the
stomach! Gwyn tells Buck she's pregnant and he is silent in reaction.
Stacey daydreams that 15 years later she's still alone on the couch, when
Shana and Leo come over to invite her to Ava and Jeremy's 15th
anniversary! What a hoot.

That's it for Tuesday!
