ALLY'S
======
Steffi and Ally are cleaning up Ally's house. Steffi tells Ally she'll
clean up, why doesn't Ally go take a nap? Ally says she's not tired.
Steffi offers to make her something to eat, but Ally says she's not
hungry. Ally says she'll clean up the place herself, and Steffi shouldn't
worry about it, but what she'd really like is to go take a really long,
really hot shower. Steffi says she already took a shower, but Ally is
already gone upstairs. Steffi picks up the phone.

Ally comes down from the shower (her third). She says Steffi didn't
have to clean the place up. Steffi says she guesses it's the maternal
instinct kicking in. Ally says she doesn't have to stay, she's okay, but
Steffi says she doesn't mind doing a little handholding. Steffi says she's
not okay, she's taken three showers in the last hour. Ally says that's
because she can still smell Danny on her and it won't go away. Steffi
says she can't even imagine how it must feel. Ally says "what if I'm
pregnant? What if I have AIDS?" Steffi says the police will find Danny
and make him pay for this. Ally says how; there's nothing they can do
to him that will make up for what he did to Casey. "Casey?" Steffi
asks. "What about what he did to you? You don't blame yourself for
this whole thing, you can't blame yourself for what Danny Roberts did
to you." Ally says yes she can. Ally starts to tell Steffi something
(that Danny didn't really rape her?), when the doorbell rings. Ally
panicks, and says it's him. "Who?" Steffi asks. (Duh, Steffi...)

Steffi says it's okay, it's just Jeremy and Gwyn. Ally asks how she
knows, and Steffi says she called them (see below). Steffi says
she didn't ask them to come over; she was calling Gwyn to see if she
was okay because of Cabot and Isabelle, and they offered. Steffi says
she's sorry. Ally tells her to let them in. Steffi opens the door.
Jeremy tells Ally he's sorry, and Ally thanks him. Gwyn asks if she
can hug Ally, and she says yes. Jeremy and Steffi go out on the porch.
Ally says she doesn't want to talk about it and Gwyn says she under-
stands. Ally says she knows Gwyn does. She can't believe that Gwyn
is even here, with all that she's going through. Gwyn says who better
than a survivor like herself to tell Ally that she's not alone. Ally says
she's amazing; she's out talking to people, while Ally is sitting there
full of hate. Gwyn says that sounds about right, that's where she
should be. Ally says she's not going to be okay until Danny Roberts is
behind bars. Gwyn says "and you think that's going to end your pain?"
Ally says she doesn't know, but she's going to make sure he pays for
what he did to Casey. Gwyn asks "what he did to Casey? Ally, what
are you saying?" Ally says that he should have been in jail a long time
ago, and no one cared but me, so I... Gwyn says "you what? Ally, is
there something you want to tell me?"

Gwyn says Ally can talk to her. Ally says now that Casey is dead,
there's no point. Gwyn asks in what, and Ally says in anything. He
was her reason for everything, and now that he's gone... well, Gwyn
knows exactly how she feels. Gwyn says yes she does, but let's keep
this about you right now. Gwyn asks if there's something else? Ally
sounds like... well, something just doesn't feel right. Ally says that's
because nothing is, and she knows that now. Danny Roberts can be in
jail forever, but without Casey, nothing will ever be right again.
(I think Ally is beginning to regret this, big time.)

GWYN'S
======
Gwyn and Jeremy walk through the door, talking about Gwyn's
nightmare about Trisha trying to kill her. The phone rings; it's Steffi
(see above). She's calling to check on how Gwyn is holding up. She
asks if Jeremy is there; Gwyn says he is. Gwyn asks if she heard
about Ally. Steffi says yes, she's at Ally's place right now. Gwyn
asks how Ally is doing, and Steffi says not so well; she's putting up
a brave front, but she's taken two showers in the last half hour.
Gwyn says she's coming over there. Steffi says Gwyn doesn't need
to do that, she has too much on her mind. But Gwyn insists, saying
it'll take her mind off of her own problems. She hangs up and tells
Jeremy she's going to Ally's, but he says "you're not going anywhere."

Jeremy wants her to stop tending to everyone's needs but her own.
Gwyn wants to know what is wrong with wanting to take her mind off
of her own problems? Jeremy says she can't run away from it. Gwyn
says she is tired of it, tired of feeling helpless and hopeless, and she
doesn't want to run away from it; she wants to find out who did it.
She says it's not Trisha; the only reason she had that dream was
because Alex put the idea into her head. Jeremy says Alex was
doing his job. Gwyn says all she wants is for Alex to do his job and
find Trisha. Jeremy says he knows "well-connected" people in
Europe with sources the police don't have, and he made a few calls.
If Trisha left a trail, they'll find her.  Gwyn says she appreciates it;
Trisha is all she has left. Jeremy says that's not true; she has him.

ANGIE'S OFFICE
==============
Angie walks in the door, looking at a chart. Frankie comes in. Angie
is happy to see him; she was worried about him, since he didn't come
home last night. Angie asks where he stayed, and he says it doesn't
matter. She says of course it does. He says she needs to stop worrying
so much. Frankie says he's moving out; he'll be by later to pick up his
stuff.

Frankie doesn't know how Angie can stand Charles; he's a hypocrite.
He gave Frankie this big long lecture about safe sex, then he finds out
he got Lorraine pregnant and dumped her. Angie says for the last time,
Charles never knew Lorraine was pregnant. Frankie asks if she really
believes that, and Angie says she does. Angie says Charles feels awful,
and yes maybe he should have practiced safe sex, but Frankie has to
understand that it was a different era. Frankie whines that Bree won't
even see him now because of Charles. Angie says she's sorry about that,
she really is, but Frankie running around pointing fingers isn't going to
help. Angie says at times like this, you have to stick together as a family.
Frankie says that's what he's worried about; Charles had a family, and
he abandoned them. What makes Angie think he won't do the same to them?

Frankie doesn't want to talk about it anymore, okay? Angie says it isn't
okay, they have to talk things out, not walk away from problems. Frankie
says he splits. Frankie says Angie might want to realize that she made
a mistake; maybe he was wrong thinking Charles was the one over Jacob.
Angie says that wasn't his decision to make, and Jacob has told his share
of lies. Frankie says he didn't get his high school sweetheart pregnant then
dump her (how does Frankie know that?) and ruin one of the best things that
ever happened to Frankie (whiner). Angie says she's sorry, but Charles is
not to blame. Frankie says he is, and Frankie does blame him, and if Angie
thinks about it, she'll see that he's right.

CORINTH TOWERS
==============
Lorraine is working. She goes up to a door and knocks on it. No one
answers. She calls out "hello... you ordered towels?" She opens the
door with her pass key, muttering to herself; Jacob is lounging on the
bed, smiling at her. Lorraine doesn't look happy to see him.

Lorraine asks what Jacob is doing there. Jacob says since she wouldn't
return his phone calls, he had to get creative. She says "you rented
a room so you could talk to me." He said he wanted to rent a suite, but
this place is crazy expensive. Jacob invites her in, but Lorraine is very
cold, saying she has to work. Jacob says he was just worried about her,
and wondering how she's handling things. Lorraine says she hasn't had a
drink, if that's what he meant. Jacob says that's part of it... and Charles
is the other part. Lorraine says "quite a surprise, huh?" Jacob says it
floored him. Lorraine says you and everyone else, including herself. She
just thought if she worked real hard, it would put her back on an even
keel, but now she knows she could make beds from here to eternity, and
it wouldn't change anything. Jacob says change isn't always a bad thing,
and Lorraine says it isn't always a good thing, either. She says it doesn't
matter anyway. Jacob asks why that is, and she says that "before I was
going nowhere fast, and now I'm going somewhere else nowhere fast."
Jacob says that's not true, maybe this business with Charles has thrown
her off her rhythm, but that's no reason to give up. Lorraine says give
up what; look at my life, it's one long string of mistakes. Jacob says he
wouldn't know anything about that, since he's never made a mistake in
his life. Lorraine smiles. Jacob says that's so much better, and asks if
they can continue this over lunch. Lorraine says she's working, and
can't leave the building. Jacob says "who said anything about leaving the
building?" and rolls out a room service cart. Lorraine smiles again.

Jacob asks Lorraine to sit down. Lorraine says she's not in the mood
for a romantic lunch. Jacob says this isn't romance, this is friendship.
You know, you tell me your problems, I empathize and offer advice;
you know, friend stuff. Can she handle that? Lorraine says she wanted
to talk to him, but it isn't appropriate. Jacob asks what she means?
Lorraine asks if he wants to hear her feelings about another man?
Jacob says why not? Let's get it all into the open and go from there.
Lorraine says "I guess." Jacob says so, are you going to talk to me
or what?

Lorraine says on the one hand, she doesn't want to spoil things for
Angie and Charles; they just got married, and they seem very happy.
Jacob says yeah, whatever, and asks, on the other hand? Lorraine
says on the other hand, she's angry, at herself, at Charles, at life;
they are over there with everything, and she's over here with nothing.
Jacob says "so your options are?" Lorraine says go back to work or
get fired. Jacob asks "to be continued?" Lorraine says we'll see.
Jacob says she has to remember the saying from the meetings: "Let
go, let God:" things will work out the way they're supposed to. Lorraine
thanks Jacob; he says any time. Lorraine asks "what about you and me?"
Jacob says we are friends, which means no explanations necessary.
Lorraine says okay, and leaves. Jacob sits down, looking pensive.
Suddenly, he has a vision of Angie, sitting on the couch smiling at him.
He looks up at the sky (at Jesse?), and says "don't mess with me...
not like this!" Meanwhile, Angie is sitting in her office, frowning off
into space. (Curbhanger)

POLICE STATION
=============
Tony is being mobbed by reporters, asking him questions. He asks if
they remember elementary school; they have to raise their hands.
One reporter raises his hand, and asks if it's true that the Corinth
Killer is only going after Aldens; Tony says that since he isn't the
Corinth Killer, he really couldn't say. Another asks him about the
killer's "calling card." He asks what she means, and she says she
heard a rumour that the killer leaves some sort of signature at each
scene. Tony stammers that he doesn't know who started that, but...
Richard comes over and says he heard that rumour too, but it isn't
true. But, he asks, is it true that the police believe the killer
to be a woman?

Alex is insisting that Charles put more people on the search for Danny.
Charles says he wants Roberts too, but he has a serial killer to catch.
Alex says he knows that, Cabot and Isabelle were like his own family,
but they have to find Roberts. Charles says he'll see if the mayor
will loan them some more, and walks off. Jocelyn comes in. Alex is
not happy to see her. She says she has proof that Danny didn't rape
Ally.

Alex says she has one minute. Jocelyn says she checked with every
cab company, and Ally didn't call any of them. Jocelyn says that
proves Ally lied. Alex says it doesn't; cab driver logs are not
exactly reliable, and besides he already checked that out. He says
it proves nothing, and tells Jocelyn to have a nice day. She says
she's not finished; Ally has been setting Danny up for weeks. Alex
says her time is up. Jocelyn says think about it: first Ally didn't
re-sign the restraining order, then they had a BBQ at Danny's, just
the two of them? Alex says where did she hear that? Let me guess,
from Danny. Jocelyn says she saw it with her own eyes. Then she
saw them having drinks together at Tess' party. Alex says she's
distorting the facts to help her brother. Jocelyn asks who he is,
Officer Objective?

Tony asks what he owes Richard for the smoke screen about the photo
fragments? Richard says what makes Tony think he didn't do it out
of the kindness of his heart? Tony says because he doesn't have one,
now what does he want? Richard says well, since he's asking...

Alex says the bottom line is that Jocelyn's brother is a known drug
dealer who got Casey killed. Jocelyn says Graham killed Casey, not
Danny. Alex says because Danny held him at gunpoint until Graham
got there. Jocelyn says that case was thrown out. Alex says because
of a technicality, and what happened? Danny gets out, and goes and
rapes Ally. Jocelyn says Ally made the whole damned thing up. Alex
tells her *not* to say that again. Jocelyn says all she wants Alex to
do is take off the APB. Alex says no. Jocelyn says Danny is scared,
and she doesn't know what he'll do if he's backed into a corner. Alex
asks how she knows Danny is scared? Jocelyn stammers a bit, then
comes up with "wouldn't you be?" Alex doesn't bite; he says she's
seen him, hasn't she.

Richard says two words: Neal Warren. Tony asks what about him.
Richard says you want to check up on him, but Charles won't let you,
right? Tony says Charles will "let" him, but they have about 600
other people to check on first. Richard says but that will take time,
right? Tony asks Richard what he knows about him. Richard says
nothing, but he can find out. Tony asks what that will cost him, his
firstborn? Richard says Tony already owes him his firstborn, but
he's having a two-for-one special.

Charles is trying to call Lorraine, but he gets the machine. He says
he doesn't want to talk to the machine, he wants to talk to her. She's
with Jacob (see above).

Jocelyn admits she talked to Danny the night it happened. He told her
everything. She says she begged him to turn himself in, but he was
too scared. Alex says "I wonder why." Jocelyn says because he was
set up; he was drunk, and Ally took him home and seduced him, they
had sex, then she kicked him out of her house, saying he'd pay for what
he did to Casey. Alex says "your brother belongs in prison." Jocelyn
says but he didn't do it. Alex says he belongs in prison. Jocelyn says
she gets it; it doesn't matter if he raped Ally, Alex just wants him behind
bars for what he did to Casey. Alex says he wants to see justice done.
Jocelyn asks if some cop shooting Danny is justice to him? Alex doesn't
say anything (but it looks as though that would be okay with him).

Richard says here's the deal; for the smoke screen, he gets an exclusive
when they catch the killer. And, he wants Tony to keep feeding him these
little "appetizers"; in fact, he wants a little snack right now, like the
suspect. Curtis and Tess are off the hook, and Tony hasn't given him
anything since the psychological profile Gwyn worked up. Tony says
he can't give him the name of the suspect, because he'll tell the world,
and the killer is on the next plane out. Richard says it could work to
their advantage; the killer might get nervous and make a wrong move.
Tony says he can't give him the name, but he'll give him enough to make
the killer nervous. Richard says okay; that, and the exclusive? Tony
says he has to clear it with the chief. Richard says get it in writing,
and he's got a deal.
===

That's it; thankfully no Bree today, but I'm really sick of this whole plot,
as if you couldn't tell! Frankie is a big whiner who needs to be slapped!
There, I'm done editorializing for the moment. See you next week!
