Deb and Debbie again (enough said? :-))

Dinah Lee and Christopher are playing. Trucker tells him to go
upstairs and get ready for bed. Christopher tells Dinah Lee that he
loves her. She loves him too. he goes updtairs. Trucker puts on a song
and asks if she remembers it. She remembers dancing, she says. Well,
Trucker says, she danced, he stepped on her toes a lot. She is upset,
since there are so many things that she'll have to learn to do again.
Trucker tells her she will learn.

Alex wants to know what is up. Ava says why? Alex says that she is
tooooooo loving. Ava tells him he's cute. He says he's a grown man,
he's not cute (sorry, ALEX, editorial comment - you ARE cute). Ava
tells Alex that JillBear wants to work CLOSELY with her for his
investment. Yeah, so? Alex asks. You're not upset? Ava asks.

Casey comes home (it's late). What's wrong? Ally asks. I was FIRED!
Casey says. He went to the office, and no one was there, but the light
was on in JillBear's office. Does he think JillBear doesn't want to
talk to him? Ally asks.

Ava asks, it doesn't bother him that they'll be working side-by-side?
Well, if anything was going to happen, it would have happened when
they were a couple. Alex is all for them combining resources to save
Brunelle's. Ava and Alex kiss, and get into it. Alex suggests that
they take it inside, before the neighbors call the cops.

Trucker tells Dinah Lee that she'll get better. There is a knock on
the door. It's Alex and Ava. Ava is bubbling over about taking a ride
in the convertable. Dinah Lee wants to go, Trucker tells her it's
late. Ava and Dinah Lee leave, after Alex warns Ava not to get a
speeding ticket. Ava calls her Thelma, Dinah Lee calls her
Louise. Outside, Ava tells her she finally got it right, things are
going to be okay. Inside, Alex makes small talk.

Casey is upset. Ally offers condolences, Casey blows up on her, she's
just offering cliches! He appologizes. He is taking this out on
her. He should have know he couldn't handle all this: a job, a
marriage, a child. He lost their only source of income! They have
BILLS! He mentions (screaming) how it would be okay if it was only his
life that was ruined, but he's taking Ally and Tyler with him,
too. Ally tells him he is blowing this out of proportion - he has
TEMPORARILY lost his job. Oh GOD! Casey says, he is sounding like his
FATHER!

Trucker tells Alex that it's late for them to joyride. Alex says it's
not that late, they're not joyriding, and it'll do good for Dinah Lee
to get out of the house. Yeah, yeah, Trucker says. It used to be so
easy to talk to her, but now he hears everything he says, and it
sounds so...awkward? Alex suggests. Yeah, Trucker says. Alex tells him
that he had the same problem when Ava was in the hospital. It'll make
her stronger. They'll get through this, Alex says.

Ava says she's glad that Dinah Lee came out. Dinah Lee forces out,
"But don't puuuuuuuuttttt the moves onnnnnnn meeeee." They both laugh.
They talk about how hard it is to talk to Trucker. Ava tells her it
will get easier with time. Time! Dinah Lee sighs. They talk about
spending time like old times, top down - wind in the hair. Okay, Ava
laughs, not EXACTLY like old times...Dinah Lee says that she feels
like she's letting Trucker down. He needs a woman. Ava says has she
looked in the mirror lately? She feels like a little girl! Dinah Lee
says.

Ally says he is not like his father! Casey says that his father let
little things bother him, he could never hold a job, he let it get to
him, and he's dead. Ally says he is not like his father, he is
responsible. She points out the house, and all the things he's done to
it. He has a good life, doesn't he think? Yes, Casey says. They
kiss. He also cares for Tyler, like he was his own. Not many men would
do that. Casey says that he needed to hear that. He promises not to
turn into his father. Ally suggests he talk to someone. No, Casey
says. Ally suggests they go to bed. Casey tells her to go, he has
something to finish. she leaves. He calls Mike. He tells Mike that he
got fired. Mike can't beleive it. Want something for it? Mike
offers. No, he doesn't, Casey says. So why did he call? Mike asks. He
says he called about JillBear, he's on the warpath, so watch your
back. Oh, okay, Mike says. Casey stares at the dial tone.

Dinah Lee comes into the bedroom and Trucker tells her she looks so
beautiful. He says he should get to Chris' room. Why? She asks. He
just didn't think he should push things. She wants things to be like
they used to be. Trucker says it will, it'll just take..TIME, they say
in unision. Yeah, he's tired of hearing that, too. They need to get
some rest. Dinah Lee says she loves him. He loves her, too. She calls
after him and asks him to hold her. Oh course, he says.

In Dinah Lee's car, Ava tells Alex to stop reminising about the past
and think of the future. He tells her that his perspective is
different - in high school, he was in the drivers seat...now he's in
the passenger seat. Welcome to the 90s. They trade positions (while
staying in the car) and make a lot of noise doing it. Now what? Ava
says. Well, he could do the stretch thing. Too obvious, Ava says. How
about, Oh gee, honey, your door is unlocked. Kiss. Ohhhhhhhhhh, Ava
says, slick. They kiss some more.

Ally calls down, Casey you coming to bed? The music gets foreboding and
Casey glances in the mirror and sees a reflection of Giff. Casey says
"Dad?"
