Kristy, the new Thursday updater, is not able to do today's update. Since I
talked her into volunteering, I told her I would be more than happy to fill in
for her today...it was either that or have her say she couldn't be the
updater...anything but that :-)

At the hospital, after the meeting, Loraine tells Jacob that it took all she had
to stay there and not flee during the first speech. Jacob shows her the
fingernail marks she left on his arm. She appologizes for doing that to him.
Angie sees them and is not happy.

At Pins, Kate give Charles and Frankie menus. Frankie says this will have to be
short, Bree has the night off and he's taking her to a movie. She'll have to
wait, this can't, Charles says.

At Stacey's house, JJ tells Buck how he got there. Buck picks up the phone to
call his grandmother. No, JJ says, she'll just want him to go back to Florida.
Buck thinks that's a good idea. No, JJ says, he's not going back until he finds
out who killed his mother.

In the jail cell, Curtis is talking to himself in the third person. He wants to
sue Tony for pretending to be a friend, or something, but first he has to get
out of here. Gwyn comes to talk to him, She brought Jeremy to help. What, Curtis
says, help him go back to the Looney Bin? No thanks.

Loraine says hi to Dr. Hubbard. Angie, please. She tells them that she was just
talking to Buck. They found JJ. Jacob says that's great. Where did they find
him? Well, JJ found Buck, Angie says. He's up here? Jacob asks. Yes, she says.
Angie asks how the meeting went. Loraine mentions how hard it was and Jacob
makes a joke about better that than drinking. Angie chides him. Loraine says she
learned at the meeting to be honest about her problem. Pat comes over and
Loraine says she can't be Angie's mother. Pat likes her already. Jacob takes
Loraine someplace "less public". Pat notices Angie's expression.

Gwyn says Jeremy is here to help. This is not about Stacey's and his father's
deaths. Not yet, Curtis says, but give them time. Curtis starts ranting about
suing the police department. Jeremy yells at him to SHUT UP!

Frankie says he thinks that his desert will be a slice of the birds and the
bees...he's about 10 years to late! Charles tells him that he knows Bree and
Frankie have been spending a few nights together. Frankie says and he wants it
to stop? Charles says no, that's wrong. Kate comes over and tells Charles that
the station called. She points him to a private phone. He leaves the table to
call the station. Jacob and Loraine come in. Loraine asks where Bree is. She's
alone, Frankie sighs. Frankie says that he and Charles are "bonding". He invites
them to join him. She wants to join Frankie, Jacob sasy that she is all his
tonight.

Buck is on the phone with Rose. He tells her JJ is fine, but he'd like to spend
some time with him. He hangs up the phone. JJ gives Buck some money. He says he
wants to pay his way. He has some baseball cards, too. Buck remembers one that
he gave JJ a couple of years ago. JJ remembers when he was learing a dance
(polka) from Buck, and Stacey came in and laughed. JJ wishes that she'd
walk in now. Buck says he wishes that too. They hug.

Jeremy says is Cutis so wrapped up in himself that he can't see what other
people are going through? Curtis yells that these bars are nothing to what he's
been through. When he was locked up like a circus freak, he lost his sister,
then the minute he's out, he lost the love of his life, and yeah, his father.
Now, his mother has turned against him, too? Gwyn looks like she's gonna cry.

In Angie's office, Pat knows that something is bothering Angie. Angie admits
that when she first saw Jacob, she had feelings for him, but she realized that
she was seeing Jessie. Pat says it looks like she still has feelings for him.
No, he's nothing like Jessie. that was what she wanted, but now that she has
Charles, she doesn't want that. Pat appologizes, and says she didn't know she
was so upset. I'M NOT UPSET! Angie screams.

Loraine is a good bowler. She was thinking of taking it up professionally. What
happened? Jacob asks. Bree came along. No father to help? Jacob asks. Jacob! she
says. Charles comes back to Frankie and appologizes. Frankie says no problem. He
tells Charles that Jacob and Loraine came over, if he wants to eat with them.
Charles says this is personal. Charles says this doesn't have to do with sex,
but with responsibility.

Frankie says he understands about being responsibile. But, he adds, Bree and he
have it covered, no pun intended. Charles says they have to be careful,
sometimes common sense is the next to come off after the clothes. Sometimes,
Charles adds, when people have been in a long-term relationship, they get lax
about the protection. Frankie says that he doesn't want kids now, and he will
take precautions. Charles says that it's not just about kids, it's about safe
sex, AIDS, and other things. Charles loves him, and he wants him to be around
for a long time. Frankie is impressed and promises to keep himself protected.
Charles says good enough for him. Now, Charles laughs, go find Bree and have a
good time. Keep this up, Frankie says, and he'll have to call him, Dad. Don't
threaten him, Charle laughs. Meanwhile, Loraine gets a strike. She tells Jacob
that he doesn't have to babysit her. Isn't she having fun? he asks, doesn't it
look like he's having fun? Well, yeah, she coos. Then let's get on with the
date, Jacob says. This isn't a date, she says...a date involves dinner. Ta da!
Jacob says, this place has the best burgers in town. No, she wants to have him
for dinner. He's kinda tough, he laughs. She has tenderizer, she says with a
smile. They admit this is a date.

Pat says it's okay if Angie and Jacob have a mutual attraction. No, Angie says,
it's not okay, she can't believe what she put Charles through over Jacob. Pat
says just be true to yourself and things will work out. Does she always have to
be so right? Angie asks. No, Pat says, she's not gonna tough that one. Pat tells
her to finish up here in teh office, and met her in the cafeteria, she wants
some herbal tea. Thanks, Mom. Pat leaves. Angie remembers Jacob saying he may
have lied to the world, but he never lied to himself, she's the only one that
lied to herself. Back in her office, Angie says she's *not* lying.

JJ says his grandmother treats him like a kid. Well? Buck says. He's past that,
JJ says. When his father died, he felt like he had to become a man. Buck
remembers JJ's mom said she could always count on him. Buck asks how Heather
feels, she lost her mother, then her brother ran away. He says he told Heather
before he left, and she's all for it, she wants to get the guy who killed their
mother, too. It'll all work out, JJ says.

Gwyn says that if they get Curtis out, it's on the condition that he get help at
Dunellen. No way, Curtis says. It's not like he has to readmit himself, Gwyn
says, it'll be on an outpatient basis. Jeremy adds, that was the original
condition of his release. Gwyn says he'll have to make a schedule and stick to
it now. In fact, she made an appointment for tomorrow with the doctor. So,
Curtis says, taking over where Dad left off? And we know where he is now, Curtis
sneers. Close up on Gwyn's face, trying to look not terrified (and losing).

(I noticed yesterday that the commerical changed...it's *definately* a gas
faucet...)
