At breakfast, Sandy tells Alex to tell her that it's his turn to have
the prize. Alex says it's his turn. Ava, coming in from the kitchen,
says no it's not, he had it last time. Alex tells Sandy that it's her
turn. They run off. Alex asks her what's wrong. Is that bacon I smell?
Tony asks, poping up from the couch. What's he doing here? Ava is cool
to him. Alex says remember he told her that his new partner needed a
place to say. She cooly tells him she'll go make him breakfast. Tony
tells Alex that she wants him dead, doesn't she?

Angie tells Charles that last night was wonderful. He promises more
like that. Frankie and Bree come in and she thanks them for letting
Frankie stay the night at her house. Frankie says he slept on the
couch. Really. Charles says he didn't say anything. Frankie says
really. Angie says they didn't say anything...yet. Frankie and Bree go
upstairs. Angie asks Charles...no way! Charles says.

At the Biastro, Neil brings Steffi breakfast. She's not hungry, she
says. He's only the cook, he says, leaving the food. Deborah is
upset that Clay did not leave them anything in the will, what with the
kid and all. Steffi says it's no big deal. Deborah says she knows how
hard it is to raise a kid without money and a husband. Steffi remarks
that her mother is not shook up about Clay's death. Deborah says there
is a silver lining to this...she hopes. She was, after all, almost
kinda like his widow. Steffi says Clay hated her, she blackmailed him
into marrying her, and it wasn't even a legal marriage. Deborah poo
poos that and leaves. Richard is right there.

Angie says she was just gonna say that her mother is coming into town.
Good, Charles says, maybe *she* can talk to Frankie. Charles says that
he can talk a madman out of his gun, he can talk to criminals without
fear...but a boy...no, a man in heat, and he's mumb. They talk about
safe sex and how, once you get stared, it's easy, at that age, to
think you're invunerable. Charles agrees to talk to Frankie about it.

Richard sits down with Steffi and asks about Tess. Steffi sasy he is
digging. He's just curious, he says.

Alex tells Tony that Ava's mood has nothing to do with him. It's
something he did. Alex calls the station. Alexis comes in and asks
Alex to brush her hair. He says he's on the phone, can she wait 5
minutes? She holds out the brush to Tony. He brushes it as she sings
"Ittsy Bitsy Spider." Alex remarks that he's good at that hair
brushing. He comes from a big family, he says. They talk about Curtis
and the murders. Ava comes in and asks her if she's ready for Day
Camp. Yeah, but she hopes that she doesn't get murdered there. Why
would she say that? Ava asks. Lots of people are dead, Alexis says.
Ava sends her off to get ready. Tony leaves to get breakfast. Alex
says "Alone at last."

Tess tells Curtis that he's the next suspect. They talked to her and
cleared her, and Buck is cleared. So, Curtis says, blame it on the guy
from the loney bin? Curtis says from where he stood, it looked like a
heart attack. From where he stood? Tess says, was he there? Curtis
says he wanted to talk to Clay, but he was busy...You were watching us
make love? Well, he didn't mean to...Tess says this looks bad, he told
the police that he didn't know anything about the death. She tells him
that if the police found out, they'd lock him up, and somepalce a lot
worse than Dunellen.

Charles says he's not scared of Frankie, it's just that seeing the two
of them reminds him of what it was like. Hot, hot, hot. Angie says
yeah, she remembers her and Jessie...sorry. It's okay, Charles says,
she tells him about her love and listening to what her mother told
her. Charles says that he remembers back them, and he was sooooo in
love, and he doesn't think that if anyone told him he would have paid
attention. Angie says he'll never know, cause no one cared enough to
talk to him (ed. note: ouch). Charles says he'll talk to Frankie.
Upstairs, Frankie is kissing Bree, who's telling him to get dressed,
his mother is downstairs. The acoustics are terrible, he says. She
thanks him for being there for her mother last night. She appologizes
for lying about her family. Bree cuddles, but Frankie pulls away. He
says he knows things have gotten better between them, but it has
nothing to do with her mother. Remember when he said he thought he
might be falling in love with her? Yes, she says, kissing him. Well,
he was wrong. She's crestfallen. He *knows* he's in love with her.
They kiss.

At the Biastro, Tony comes in and gives Richard a hard time. What,
Richard says, does he have connections with the police department?
Yes, he does, he says, as he shows Richard his badge.

Ava sends the kids to camp, then turns on Alex for bring the graphic
details of the murders home, not to mention his partner. He thought
Alexis was reading her book. Ava is upset that Tony is staying with
them. This has nothing to do with Tony, Alex says. What's it really
about? What does he think it's about? she asks. Joselyn, he suggests.
Joselyn? Not specifically, it's about the fact that a woman kissed
*her* husband.

*commercial break*
Here's another LOVING commercial...you've felt the trouble (power puff
falls), savored it (brandy glass shattering)...can it elude the senses
(the strange faucet)?
*end commercial break*

Charles tells Frankie that his mother is gonna dine with her mother
tonight. He suggests they get a pizza and eat together. Frankie says
Bree is working late, so sure. Good. In the kitchen, Bree thanks
Angie. She was just doing her job, Angie says. Bree says Jacob is
being such a terrific person. Bree is bubbling over about all that
Jacob is doing for someone he just met (ed. note: wanna bet he's
Bree's father?) Angie agrees, reluctantly. Charles' look is
not happy.

Richard says he's not bothering the lady. Steffi agrees. There,
richard says, no law broken. Tony tells Richard that if he does
anything to hurt her, he'll answer to him. Richard wants a quote on
the murder investigation. Tony tells him to get lost.

Alex says it wasn't a kiss, it was a peck. No other woman is suppose
to be "pecking" her husband. Ava says it's not about Joselyn. She
knows that something is happening in this town, even Alexis feels it
and Ava's scared to death. She wants to get away for a vacation.Alex
agrees, but says he can't do that right now. She hopes he solves it
before it breaks them apart.

At Tess' place, she talks to Curtis some more and tells him to watch
his back. That explains the phone call, he says. What call? she asks.
Charles called and he wants to talk to him and his mother about Clay's
death. Tess hugs him and tells him she'll be available whenever he
wants to talk. They go back a long way, she says. He leaves. Tess goes
to the table, and takes the tape out of the machine. Sorry, Curtis,
but better you than me, she says.
