Gwyn, dressed in black, is looking at a picture of the family, Jeremy
comes in, The memorial is at 4, she says. She hopes that he can make it.
It will be simple, she says. He doesn't know how she does it. Meanwhile,
in the den, Isabelle is upset that she went to the charrity ball instead
of staying home, maybe Clay would have told her somthing was wrong.
Curtis says that it wasn't her fault. Curtis wonders what's taking the
police so long...it was a natural death. No, Cabot says, there was
nothing natural about his son's death.

At the agency, Tess is shredding documents. Tony comes in and asks what
that is. Tess says it's a paper shredder. No, what are those papers
she's shredding? Just papers, she says. Papers that she doesn't want the
cops to see, and she knows that they'll be all over her office soon.
Tony asks if Clay died of a heart attack, why is she so sure the cops
will be all over her office? He did die of a heart attack, didn't he?
Tony asks.

At the Biastro, Deborah asks Neil if he beleives in the power of
positive thinking. Of course, he syas. What about the power of negative
thinking? Deborah asks Neil if he can keep a secret. Sure. She thinks
she killed Clay.

At the police station, Alex says the piece of picture they found is the
same paper as the one from Stacey's house. Charles asks if the coroner
is done yet. No, they have a few things to check out still. Is Alex
thinking what he's thinking? Alex says yeah, he thinks they have another
murder on their hands.

Tess says of course he died of a heart attack. His last words to her
were "Oh, Tess, Oh, Tess". Tess assk if he has any idea what it's like
to be naked lying under a dead man. Tony looks at her weird. Guess not,
Tess says. Tony wants to know if Clay died of a heart attack, what is
she so worried about? Tess says there are too many coincidences...the
night of Stacey's murder, she was in a public bar, talking to a man
about how much it would cost to oft her. Then there is the buying of an
alibi (Danny), the stalking for publicity bit, and then Clay was
blackmailing her with it to buy her agency...Tony tells her to tell the
cops everything.

Cabot says that there is nothing natural about parents outliving their
children. Cabot is talking about how they wasted so much time. Cabot
says they were just starting to get along. Gwyn says that Clay learned
his lesson. Curtis laughs. Isabelle wonders what's so funny. Seems that
Clay didn't learn his lesson after all, Curtis says. Cabot did the same
to Clay that Clay was doing to Curtis. Jeremy tells Curtis that this is
not the time. Curtis gets upset and leaves. Steffi comes in. She tells
the family that she is so sorry. She cared about Clay. He cared about
her, too. She wonders if Cooper is coming back. No, he can't make it,
Cabot says. Isabelle says that she had such hopes for her...for the
family. They hug. Steffi says there is still hope, she has something to
tell them.

Alex holds up the piece of picture...this is the guy's calling card. The
guy that killed Stacey killed Clay. Oh, Charles says, now we know the
gender, too? Alex says he was using "guy" as a general term...Charles
tells him to leave an open mind. If they can prove that those are the
same picture, then he'll listen. Alex says he'll have them test the
pieces once they get back the brandy tests. Charles says, "Brandy
tests?" Alex says he had a hunch, since he saw Curtis with a
gift-wrapped package of brandy for his father. Charles asks if he's
talked to Tess. Here's a gal, Charles says, in bed, with a contract,
signed that gives her a quarter million and if Clay dies, she keeps the
agency, too. Alex sasy he doesn't buy it. Charles says he agrees, it's
too obvious, like the brandy. The doctor comes in and tells Alex that
his instinct about the brandy was right.

Steffi says she can't stay long. What's her good news? Isabelle asks.
Steffi says that she and Cooper broke up, but something wonderful came
out of the relationship. She's pregnant. Steffi says she didn't want to
make a major announcement, but she thought it would please Isabelle. Oh
it does, she says. They hug again. Meanwhile, Gwyn can't beleive that
he's dead. Jeremy says that Curtis is mad at him for wanting to keep him
in Duneelen. Gwyn says she knows she should talk to him, but she can't
right now. Jeremy goes off to talk to Curtis again. Ally comes in and
tells Gwyn that she knows how she feels. Gwyn says she knows she does,
this must be hard on her. Ally stiffles a tear, saying that she wasn't
going to do this. Gwyn tells her to do whatever it takes to get through
this. Ally says that people say it gets easier, but this is not getting
easier. She cries. She appologizes, saying she wanted to help, but this
is not helping. Gwyn says she appreciates being with her. It feels good
not to have to pretend that she's holding it all together. They hug and
cry together.

The doctor says that there was a hole in the cork, like from a needle.
Alex knows all about the brandy, where it was bought, how rare it is,
how much it cost...he says he did his research. The report comes in.
Yup, the brandy was laced, the doctor says, handing them the report.
Wait, Alex says, this is heart medicine. The doctor says in small doses,
it can save a life, but in larger doses, it can kill. It's hard to
detect, unless you're specifically looking for it. Whoever did that, is
very clever. The doctor leaves. Alex looks at Charles and says,
clever...and crazy!

Deborah tells Neil about the voodoo doll. She got it in Jamaca. She
knows she did it. She talked to the man who sold it to her, Bob. Neil
says, a Jamacian named Bob? She says he told her how to use it, how to
place the needles. She wanted him dead (Neil says, Bob?) No, Clay...she
stabbed his doll in the heart. Neil doesn't think she did it. Deborah
asks if she'll be arrested. In Jamaca, maybe. She's getting hyper. She's
never killed anyone before. Oh NO!She screams. What? Neil asks. She'll
got to Hell! Neil says, oh, please. She knows, Deborah says, she'll
appologize! She's off to the funeral home.

Tess is deleting files from the computer. Tony tells her to relax. If
the cops don't find her, the man in the white coats will. Tony tells her
to tell the cops everything. She says no thanks, gray is not her color,
and that's the color of prison outfits. There, she's done, the only
thing the cops will find will be her tax return! Tess leaves, Steffi
comes in. She is surprised that Tony is still here in town. She asks if
someone gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. She tells him to tell her
about his family. This is uncle? Tony asks. Like his father and
organized crime, Steffi says.

Deborah is talking to the coffin. She knows they never talked, and this
is not the idea circumstances. Why is she doing this? She hated
him...didn't she? Why couldn't he have loved her...just a little bit.

Curtis hangs up the phone. It was Ava, she sends her symphanty he tells
his grandfather. He says he hopes Curtis told her they appreciate it. Of
course, Curtis says, a little upset. Curtis tells Cabot that Ava said
that Alex spent the night at the station. Curtis can't believe that the
cops are snoopong around, they even took the $125 bottle of brandy.
Cabot blows up. His father just died, and he's worried about the police
and a bottle? Curtis screams that his father died and a piece of him
went with him. Curtis storms off. Everyone looks shocked.

At the station, Charles and Alex talk about motive (Clay wanted Curtis
back in Dunellen, they had a public fight about it) and opportunity
(Curtis had the bottle) Charles asks what about Tess, she was there when
Clay died. Why not her? She is now a wealthy woman, Charles adds. WAIT!
Alex says, why do they have to assume it's one or the other...it could
be both, working together. It wouldn't be the first time, Alex says.

---------------
During the show was the next promo. The powder puff drops (Now that
Stacey is gone) and then the brandy glass drops and breaks (and Clay is
gone), here's the next clue (it's a faucet...gold colored and one of
those one valve ones that taper to a cone-like shape) and then they say
something about the senses. We've done touch (or is the sented powder
smell) and taste...)
