LOVING Mini-Update for Friday, August 19:

STORYLINE: IT'S TRANSPLANT TIME!
           (location: Angie's hospital room)
* Pat, Angie and Charles are all trying to talk Angie into having a
transfusion. She says the more transfusions she has, the more risk
is involved in a transplant. After Frankie tells her to take her
mother's advice, the doctor enters. Angie tells him that she is
ready for a transfusion, but the doctor says there has been a change
of plans; there won't be a transfusion today.
* The doctor says that it is *good* news -- they found her a bone marrow
match. While everyone else celebrates, she asks how complete a match
it is. The doctor says it matches on five of the six counts. She
asks who the donor is. The doctor says, "It's a local woman: Jamie
St. Clair." We pan across four very bewildered people...
* Angie can't believe it! Pat points out that this isn't even the
first time she is going to save Angie's life. Angie asks where she
is, and the doctor says they're having a hard time locating her.
Frankie says she is probably back at the diner, and goes to make a
phone call. The doctor says it is important that they start the
transplant as soon as possible. Frankie returns and says she didn't
go back to work after her deliveries that afternoon. Angie says she
is sure they'll find her soon. Frankie isn't so sure. Pat asks if
that is any way to talk about the woman who is going to save his mom's
life. Frankie admits that he is disappointed that it isn't going to
be him that saves her life. Angie says he *did*, though, by starting
 that campaign.
* None.

STORYLINE: FAUX JEREMY?
           (location: Jeremy's house)
* Gwyn reiterates the question: was someone there? She has noticed the
cigarette butt in the ashtray and, to the best of her knowledge, he
doesn't smoke. Jeremy laughs and tells her she knows him too well.
He says it must be his new cleaning lady. Suddenly, Jeremy grabs his
head and falls to the couch.
* She asks if everything is all right. He says that when Curtis leaves,
she can tend to his wounds. Curtis comes over to tell them that he is
leaving. Gwyn tries to stop him, but Jeremy says that Curtis must have
better things to do tonight. Curtis leaves. Gwyn reminds Jeremy that
they were going to talk to Curtis. Jeremy pleads "temporary amnesia"
and laughs it off. Gwyn says she will help him remember some things,
like their "special session in the bathtub." "How could I forget?
Let's go upstairs and do it again." She reminds him that the bathtub
in question is at the agency. He says the amnesia is more serious than
he thought. She says that it's time for some emergency precautions and
kisses him. He kisses her aggressively...
* None.
* Gwyn says they're wasting time on the couch; they need to go up to bed
right away. Jeremy says he may not be up to the challenge just yet.
"Oh, you poor thing. I'm sorry. Here I am, satisfying my own selfish
needs and, clearly, you need rest." Jeremy says he'll be his old self
in no time. Gwyn suggests that they go upstairs and she'll tell him a
bedtime story. "You go ahead. I'll turn the lights off." She goes
upstairs. Jeremy wipes the smile off his face. He goes to turn off
the light but, instead, turns on the patio light. Then, he guesses
again, and gets the right switch to turn off the lights. He surveys
the dark room, smiles, and climbs the stairs slowly.

STORYLINE: CASEY'S MANSION
(location: Casey and Ally's dream house)
* None.
* Casey comments that Cabot looks pretty good for a dead man. Ally
slaps him and tells him that isn't funny, and Cooper pipes up that it
is, however, true. Cooper has told them the whole story. Ally can't
believe Clay would do that. Casey wonders why he would take on the job
as a cook. Cooper tells them that he is only playing with "49 cards"
and Stephanie tells them about the Buddy alter-ego, where he thinks he
is in the past. Ally asks why he kept telling her that he is sorry.
Cooper says they'll never find out unless he gets some sleep and thanks
them for housing him. Casey says they'll have to call Kate and tell
her that they are staying there tonight, and that their romantic First
Night In Their New Home will be postponed. Cooper says that he really
appreciates it, that it means a lot to him. Casey answers that *Cabot*
means a lot to Cooper, so everything is OK. Cooper says that the work
on the house is going well. Casey takes Stephanie on the grand tour,
while Ally holds Cooper back to ask him when he and Stephanie are going
 to "start nesting."
* Cabot is still sleeping after the grand tour. Casey and Ally leave to
"check the lock." Stephanie asks what Cooper and Ally talked about.
He says that when people get married, they sometimes try to put ideas
into their friends' heads. She says that he probably can't *imagine*
living in a place like this. He says he can, if he were to share it
with the right person. They laugh it off. Cooper says he has never
shared; he used to steal the toys from the other children. He tries to
weasel out of it: "you know what they say about familiarity." She says
it might be kind of nice, though. "Yeah. Nice. I guess. With the
 right person."
[Outside.]
Casey is spying on them through the front door while he "works on the
lock." Ally says he is reading too much into that situation; Casey
says Cooper wouldn't be caught dead in any house with fewer than 20
rooms. Ally says she *loves* that house. Casey says this is just a
starter, and as soon as they can afford it, they're going to move
into a bigger place. Ally is surprised.
* Casey says he knows she doesn't believe him, but if he only takes on
a little more work... Ally says she'd love him if they had to live in
a telephone booth. She asks him to drop it, but he says, "no way,"
saying that she and Tyler deserve the best. They kiss.
[Inside.]
Cooper notes that Casey and Ally are happy, but this "whole marriage
thing" isn't what it is cracked up to be. Stephy says she agrees:
she can't imagine spending the rest of her life with *one person*.
They go outside. Cabot wakes up. "Who are they trying to kid?
Neither of them...believed a word..." Cabot falls back to sleep.

STORYLINE: WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD SNIPPED A FEW MORE WIRES?
           (starting location: Jeremy's house)
* Curtis is talking to Hannah on the phone. She tells him that Dinah
Lee isn't at her house; she is on her way back to Corinth with Buck.
[In the plane and at Trucker's house.]
Dinah Lee tells Trucker that she is coming home to him. She has some
news to tell him, and she must tell him in person. The plane starts
shaking, and Buck gets a concerned look on his face. DL asks him if
everything is OK, and he says that it is. "I love you." "I love you
too, sweetheart." They hang up the phone. We see a close-up of the
 cut wires.
* [At Jeremy's house.]
Hannah asks Curtis if he's OK and if anything is wrong. He says that
everything is fine and that Buck is a great pilot, that if anyone can
get DL back to Corinth safely, it's him.
[In the plane.]
DL thanks Buck for coming to get her, otherwise she would be in Hannah's
apartment, sitting there missing Trucker. Buck, while struggling with
the controls, tells her that sometimes other people know what you want
before you know yourself. DL says Trucker is the love of her life, and
now that they're having a family together, she can't imagine anything
more perfect. The plane shakes some more and DL asks Buck again if
something is wrong. We hear some "pretty bad ABC music" (a quote from
my wife) as Buck, wordlessly, tightens his grip on the controls.
* [At Trucker's house.]
Trucker is tidying things up a bit, preparing for Dinah Lee's arrival.
Stacey enters with Christopher. Chris thanks Stacey for bringing him
home, then goes upstairs. Stacey sees the engagement ring box. He
shows her the ring, and she says it is gorgeous. She says she is happy
for the two of them. He says he never thought he was going to find
someone after Trisha died, and he thinks this is really meant to be.
She says she's glad he is getting on with his life, and that the two
of them have found each other. He promises he isn't going to lose her
 again.
[In the plane.]
Janie (right after they talk about her in the hospital) pokes her head
into the cockpit and asks if everything is OK. Buck says that there is
an indicated engine failure, but everything appears to be fine. "We'll
be home before you know it." The plane shakes violently. Janie lets
 out a scream.
* [At a pay phone somewhere.]
Curtis asks if the AE jet has landed. The person he is speaking to asks
who is calling, and says he won't give any information out until he
finds out. Curtis slams the phone down.
[In the plane.]
Janie says she thought nothing was wrong. Buck asks her to go back and
strap herself into a seat. Janie says she won't go back there alone.
Dinah Lee says she'll go back with her, but Buck says he doesn't want
everyone moving around. Buck tells Janie to go *now*. She does. DL
asks Buck what she can do. "Pray." The plane levels out. DL and Buck
let out sighs of relief. Suddenly, the plane dives off the screen and
 we hear a crashing noise.
[At Trucker's house.]
Trucker stiffens and goes outside. Stacey follows. "Did you hear that?
Dinah Lee." Stacey says she didn't hear anything. Trucker says he
heard her voice; he heard her calling to him...
