Subject: LOV: Update for Monday, August 8, 1994
Status: R

Now, Debbie is your normal Monday updater. She is busy, so I stepped
in and I'm gonna go today's (Debbie said she'd go Wednesday's...we'll
see). I appologgize in advance. This update is gonna be sketchy, cause
I'm trying to eat lunch. See, usually, I eat before the show comes on,
and I give my full attention to LOVING. But, today, the boss called a
short noon meeting (silly me, I figured 5 minutes), 29 minutes later,
my lunch is cold, and my blood is boiling. So, excuse me while I munch
and type. Okay, you don't care about that, you want the update...so
here it is:

In the darkroom, Casey and Ally are kissing. He stops and appologizes,
and tells her if a picture is in the solution too long....kiss kiss.

Isabelle sighs that they're finally all gone. Isabelle tells Clay that
if they can recreate the Depression, maybe they can get Cabot
back. Clay agrees, if father wants to live 60 years in the past, let's
give it to him.

Cooper tells Alex that he knows something major is up.

Cooper tells Alex he had a little chat with Isabelle. They're pretty
tight, and he can usually talk to her, but she shut him down
completely. Alex says so he thinks she knows. Yeah, Cooper says, but
what can he do? Nothing, Alex says. Did she mention why she came back?
he asks. She said she missed the family, Cooper says, so he came back
without telling anyone. No way, Alex says, she always tells the
servants so they can get ready. Cooper is impressed that Alex knows
the family so well.

Ally and Casey are still kissing. Ally reminds him he was suppose to
have the photos ready by now. They're drying, he says. They get hotter
and heavier. Ally mentions protection. They don't need it, Casey
says. They want to have a baby. They TALKED aobut it. Doesn't she want
to have one? Yes, but...kiss kiss. She says WAIT! She's not sure she's
ready to have another baby. They just got married, Ally says. Kiss
kiss. Casey says he wants to have a baby. Ally isn't so sure they're
ready. Casey kisses her and tells her let's make a baby.

Deborah comes in and asks why does Cabot want to go back 60 years?
he's been having memory lapses, Clay says. Isabelle says she doesn't
want to discuss it any more. Oh course you don't Deborah syas, you
must feel sooooooo guilty. I DO NOT FEEL GUILTY! Isabelle says. I love
my husband, no matter what his mental state. Clay tells Deborah that
they have a plan, but it involves Burnelle's and her.

Isabelle is signing to an old song, remembering. Alex comes in. She
greets him warmly. He appologizes for coming so late. It's never late
for him. She asks about Ava and the kids. He tells her Ava is in New
York with Dinah Lee, and the kids are camped out at Kate's. He thanks
her for the wedding gift. She says that Ava is not her favorite, but
if she makes him happy. Oh, she does, Alex says. Isabelle tells Alex,
subtly, that he was her favorite son.

Clay tells Deborah that Cabot's mind has slipped to the Depression.
Gwyn is working on a Lady Alden campaign, and he expects Cabot to be
drawn to it. Clay expects to be the first to nap Cabot when he comes
out of the shadows. But, what's in it for her? Deborah coos.

Casey kisses her and says she may be pregnant. Maybe not, Ally says.
They kiss some more. The phone rings. It's a job. He has to leave for
a job for the PI. The money is really good. Ally says he told her he
thought the PI was a jerk. He can't pick and choose his jobs. Look, if
he works this hard now, what will he do if they have another baby?
Ally asks. He kisses her and tells her to get dressed, he'll walk her
to the car. She sighs.

Clay tells Deborah that she gets what she's wanted...power, money.
He'll share that with her? Deborah asks. Well, as long as his father
is out there, he may as well have NOTHING. Well, if she works with
them, she can ask him that question herself. They clink glasses.

The PI asks Casey if he'll have trouble with this job. He was kinda
upset about the last job. Cassy says if he pays like he said, he'll
handle it.

Cooper comes over for the pictures. He wonders where Casey is since it
is after midnight. On a job, she sighs. Is there anything wrong
between the two of them? Cooepr asks. Nothing that a million dollars
wouldn't fix, she says. She tells him she needs time. He looks at the
pictures. He tells her that Alex says they need names and stuff, but
this is all bills, numbers. Is this all the pictures? Yeah, she thinks
so. The music indicates the photo of Cabot is not there.

Isabelle and Alex are talking. Isabelle tells him that he saved
Curtis' life - she will always remember that. Alex hears the music and
remembers that it was her and Cabot's song. He says it must have been
lonely in Palm Beach without Cabot. He appologizes and says he MUST
ask her some questions. No, she says, it is late, and she really must
get some rest. He'll let himself out, won't he? Sure, he says. She
leaves. Oh, Isabelle, he sighs, what is it you don't want me to know?
