LOVING Mini-Update for Thursday, July 27:

Deborah tries to kill Clay with a statue, but Curtis stops her because
he wants her to get in line. Deborah warns Clay to stay away from
Stephanie. She is escorted out by Lenox, then Curtis gives Clay the
brandy to apologize for their misunderstanding at Tout Le Monde. Curtis
then agrees to "go along" with Clay's alibi, but not to go back into
Dunellen. Clay says he was only "looking out" for him, and Curtis says
that maybe he *should* _look out_ for him, if he is as crazy as he
thinks he is. He says he was a terrible parent; Clay claims he did
the best he could. Curtis says he doesn't want him as a father. Clay
says they're stuck with each other. Curtis says he will find a way to
"un-stick" them. Meanwhile, Deborah is in her hotel room, stabbing and
threatening a Clay doll.

Stephanie finds out that Danny was hired by Tess and is not pleased.
Tess tells Stephanie that she had been pregnant when she was her age
and she "did the reasonable thing." Danny tells Tess that he charged
his suit on her credit line as a "down payment" for her alibi. Tess
says she'll take it out of his first paycheck. No, says Danny, he has
picked up a few "wild cards" since their last visit. He tells her what
he heard through the door about her having dinner with a hit man.
Richard annoys Stephanie some more. Jocelyn notices Danny's new suit
and asks Tess what happened; she says it is not her day. Jocelyn gives
Tess the new contract. Tess says she will need some privacy with Clay
to close the deal. Richard tells someone on the phone that he is going
to stay in Corinth a little while longer; it's his kind of town.

Stacey's ghost appears to Buck (barely clothed!). She says she has
come back for him. She says she will always love him, but it is time.
"No!" "Say good bye now." He begs her not to go, but she fades out.
He wakes from his dream. "Stacey...Stacey..."
