Ally is taking pictures of Tyler. Steffi comes in. She says she tried
to get back for Stacey's memorial, but the plane was two hours late.
Ally fills Steffi in about the police thinking Buck did it. Steffi was
at a very sunny, very isolated place (ed. note: so how did she hear
about Stacey's murder? Clay was on an island that wasn't so isolated,
and he didn't know). Steffi tells Ally she brought her a present.
Steffi notices the bandage on Ally's arm. What happened? Steffi asks.
Ally says she seems to have developed a stalker problem of her own.

At a fancy restraunt/bar, after the memorial service (everyone is in
black), Tess (at the bar) asks for another drink. Clay and Gwyn come in
and sit at a table. Ah, my favorite robber baron and his ex-wife, Tess
says. She asks if they are still on for tomorrow night. He tells her to
call the office. She saunters off. Gwyn says she can't believe that she
had the nerve to show up at the memorial service. Gwyn wants to talk
about something else. Okay, Clay says, they'll just sit around and
watch as they come to arrest Curtis for the murder. Meanwhile, Angie,
Charles, Alex, and Ava come in and sit down at a table and get their
menus. Angie says that she's not hungry. Angie argues that Buck should
have been able to go to the service. Charles says he couldn't do that.
Angie says he could ahve taken him under custody, he needs to say
goodbye. She argues that Buck did not do it, she'd bet her life on it.
Curtis comes up and tells her that's a bet she'll lose.

In the jail, Jacob tells Buck that it was a shame they didn't allow him
to go to the service. He's a killer,Buck says, no telling how many
other people he'd kill if they let him out (ed. note: oh great, they'll
let him out before the rest of the murders...and then he'll be accused
of the others, too). So, Buck says, did Tess say anything that would
make the police believe that he didn't kill Stacey? Jacob remembers
talking to Tess about her talking to a guy at the bar about having
Stacey killed.

Someone's been stalking her? Steffi asks. Ally says Danny Roberts is
always around. She was at the Rodeo Bar and Danny was around and she
broke a wine bottle and she got hurt. Steffi wants to know why she was
at the bar. She was with friends. What friends? Steffi asks. Just some
friedns...Ally, changing the subject, shows her some pictures she took.
Steffi says they are good. Ally says that she uses Casey's camera, and
it's like he's guiding her. Steffi tells her to show them to Tess,
maybe she can get some freelance work. Steffi wants to know what Ally
si goign to do about Danny. Can she get a restraining order (ed. note:
Alex has one out on Danny, doesn't he?). Ally says they don't work...
Danny will mess up, his type always do, and she can wait. Steffi tells
Tyler that she brought him a present. Steffi's expression as she
interacts with Tyler prompts Ally to ask, what's wrong? Ally asks.
Stefif says she's pregnant.

Jacob tells Buck that Tess just gave him some information to check out.
What's the letter for? Jacob asks. It's for JJ and Heather, Buck says,
he knows that they'll hear that he was arrested for their mother's
murder. Jacob offers to go to Florida and deliver the letter, and to
disspell any rumors that they may have heard.

So, Angie says to Curtis, who made him a murder expert? He only sees
what everyone sees, Curtis says. Curtis leaves. He heads over to Clay.
Clay says he is worried that they will arrest Curtis. He has news for
them, Curtis says, they already arrested Buck. Clay says he knows about
that, but he doesn't believe that Buck killed Stacey. Clay lays it on
the line. He says Curtis was acting strangly before the murder, and he
has no alibi. No one saw him while he sat outside Dunellen. But, Clay
asks, well, he does now...Clay found someone that "saw" Curtis that
night. You bought a witness? Gwyn asks. Just jogged his memory, Clay
smiles. All he wants in return, Clay offers, as he holds out a paper
for Curtis, is for Curtis to readmit himself to Dunellen. Sort of a
preemptive strike. Back at the other table, Angie is disqusted at
Curtis' attitude. Angie gets up and leaves. Ava goes after her. Alex
tells Charles he *knows* Buck didn't do it. If he had a chance at
Curtis...if he could get him alone in a room for just a few
minutes, he could get him to admit it. Charles tells him it has to be
by the book. Why are you protecting him? Alex asks. He's just trying to
keep the department out of trouble. Alex says he sounds more like the
Police Chief now. Charles sighs and says, yeah, he does; are they sill
friends? Yes, but watch it, Alex says. If he thinks Curtis did it,
Charles says, he has to prove it. Alex says, okay, he will.

Ally is excited. When is she due? Not for a while. Steffi sighs. Isn't
she excited? Yes, Steffi says, with a total lack of enthusiasum, she
just hasn't gotten used to it yet. How does Cooper feel? Ally asks. She
hasn't told him; he came back to tell her he was in love with someone
else. Steffi is torn between having the baby and not having it. Is she
thinking about an abortion? Ally asks.

In the ladies' room of the fancy restraunt, Ava asks if Angie is okay.
No, she's not! Within hours of her best friend's memorial, they're
treating her like a slab of meat. Ava tells Angie that she knows how
she feels and she thinks that Charles and Alex are barking up the wrong
tree. If she was heading up the investigation, she would go after Tess,
she's a manipulating witch. There's a flush, and Tess (of course) comes
out. Tess says she may have hated Stacey, but at least up front about
her feelings about Stacey. Stacey knew exactly how Tess felt about her.
Well, Ava says, Tess knows exactly how she feels about her, too.

Outside, Curtis asks if Gwyn knew about the document (to readmit him to
Dunellen). No, she says, if she had, she never would have agreed to
dinner.Clay tells her she's so upstanding, it' ssickening. Curtis tells
Clay he'll fight this all the way. Clay says don't fight me, all he has
to do is call the right judge, and he's back there. Curtis dumps the
table on him, then grabs him. Gwyn tells him everyone is watching, and
this is not making things better. Charles and Alex are paying
attention. Curtis yells to Clay, who he has by the collar, that he
hopes he rots in Hell, and he hates him and he'll pay for this. Curtis
storms off.

Steffi said she did think about abortion, and she's even made an
appointment with a doctor. Ally says that she doesn't want to sway her
decision, and she had to make the same one, but even though she knew
how hard it would be, there wasn't a doubt in her mind. But, Ally
continues, she can't imagine her life without Tyler. Steffi says she
*has* made a decision, and if it's okay with her, boy or girl, she'd
like to name it Casey. They hug.

Tess makes a crack about Ava and Alex. Outside the ladies' room, Angie
tells Tess that they haven't had much to do with each other, but one
more crack and she'll forget she's a woman. Tess leaves tehm and goes
to the bar and takes a bottle and tells the bartender to put it on her
tab. Charles tells Alex that this is one more reason to go by the book.
At Clay's table, Gwyn says he's so stupid. Clay says it's just normal;
he lost Rick, he lost Trisha, and long ago, he lost her. He did
this because he's the only child he has left. Clay leaves, Gwyn looks
pensive.

At the agency, Tess comes in and Jacob is there. He figured that she'd
come back here. She's not in the mood, she says. He just left Buck,
Jacob says, and he's not in much of a mood. Did he tell Buck? Jacob
says that he told Buck that she gave her some leads to check out. Tess
says she did *not* kill Stacey. They'll find the person who did, she
says, and then Buck will be okay. Jacob says he's going to Florida, for
Buck, to see Stacey's kids. When he comes back in a few days, she had
better have figured out something. Jacob storms out. Tess looks
worried.

In the jail, Buck, looking at a picture of him and Stacey, is writing
his own memorial service to Stacey. He looks forward to meeting her
again, when the time comes, and to loving her forever. He says goodbye
to her.
