Full Debbie details: she had a baby boy. Dalton Edward Minett was
born Monday, July 3 at 10:24pm. He was 6lbs 12 ozs and 20 1/2 inches
long. Debbie had a c-section, but she and the baby are fine. She says
he looks just like Lindsey. She should be back to work in 8 weeks
(well, 7 weeks and 5 days...but who's counting? :-)).

I'm doing the Wednesday update for the next two weeks, so let's get
to the latest happenings in Corinth.

Ally gets into her car. A hand covers her mouth. It's Danny. He
thought he'd pay her a visit this time.

Frankie is dressed for the agency party. Angie begs off. Bree tells
her she'd be the hotest one there. Angie tells him to marry her.
Frankie says things could be worked out there. Angie and Charles says
they've got this dreary engagement planned for tomorrow. Charles says
they could put it off..Dream on, groom, Angie says. Frankie and Bree
leave. How long do you think they'll be gone? Hours, Angie says. Time
for a long one....yeah, Angie says.

JJ asks Stacey why she's dressed up. She has a surprise to give Tess.
He thought she hated her. Well, after all the surprises Tess has
given her, Stacey figured it was time to give her one.

At the Agency, Tony tells Tess this party is a bad idea. Tess says
they need the publicity for Buck's commercial. Tony says for someone
who is supposed to be worried about her prime model, she's not acting
worried. Steffi comes out and Tess says she looks great. Good, Steffi
says, she worked on the look, and maybe her secret admirer will be
here tonight.

Danny tells Ally to promise to keep quiet before he'll remove his
hand. She promises. What do you want? she asks. Did she think that
she could put a bullet in his favorite painting and not get his
attention? She should have put one through him, she says. He wants to
know why she didn't.

Charles tells Angie how to set up the kareoke machine. She sings
"Rescue Me". They laugh.

Tess says no secret admirer is gonna get near her while they have
Tony around. How long is that gonna be? Steffi sighs, she can see
it...the old folks home, and Rambo is memorizing a word a day, and
when he gets to the Z's, they'll have a party for him. Steffi
mentions the free publicity for the agency. Tess says she can't think
that Tess is happy about this. Richard (the reporter) comes over and
Tony intercepts him. Tess tells Tony it's okay, Richard is there to
cover the party. Tony says he's not here to cover the party, he's
here to cover Steffi...he's hoping the stalker makes an attempt so he
can get it all on tape. Tess appologizes to Richard. Steffi says
that's the worst that will happen tonight. Tess sees Stacey. Nope, it
just took second place, Tess says to herself. Stacey is all bubbly.
Tess says she's surprised to see her. Well, Stacey says, she did
write the copy for the commercial. Tess says, yes, but it had to be
rewritten 4 times. Practice, practice, practice, Stacey coos. What's
she up to? Tess asks. Nothing, that's her thing, Stacey says as she
waltzes off.

Danny takes Ally's purse, just to be safe. No gun. What did she do to
it? She threw it into the river. Why didn't she shoot him? She's not
that kind of person; now get out. Is she sure she didn't feel
something for him? No! Get out. He says he understands she wanted to
feel what he felt the night Casey died. Well, he felt what she felt
that night. Get out of the car! He's not the scum that she thinks
that he is. GET OUT! He gets out. Can he says two words? What? she
asks. I'm sorry. Please, Ally?

Angie and Charles crack up at the end of the story. Encore! Charles
says. No, if she sings one more note, she won't be able to say 'I
do'! Intermission, he says. She tells him it's his turn, or no
wedding. She starts the machine. Charles says he doesn't know that
one. She says so do it a capella. he sings "My Girl". They laugh.

Frankie and Bree leave the party after telling Steffi she looks
beautiful. Clay comes over and tells her she looks wonderful. Steffi
tells him that what with the breakup and the stalker... Clay says he
didn't know. Which part? She and Cooper broke up? Yup, he's the
breaker, she's the breakee. Deborah comes over and says how dare he
be there after what his cousin did to Steffi. Steffi tells her to
take her cheerign up somewhere else. Meanwhile, Curtis says hello to
Stacey. She tells him to take the diamond bracelet back. He says he
thinks that she'd need cheering up. Well, if she did, the bracelet is
not the way to do it. She asks if he understands. Yeah, he says.
Curtis walks off. Stacey is on the phone saying to make sure it's
delivered by 10. Tess asks what she's doing here. Well, Stacey
smiles, she's there for the free food. Tess isn't buying it. She's
there to bury the hatchet. Tess says knowing her, Stacey will
probably aim for her head.

Danny doesn't expect them to be best pals, can't they just have a
truce? Ally, crying, says okay. Danny puts out his hand and says
thanks. She shakes it. Danny says it means a lot to him. He leaves.
She wipes her hand, and looks disgusted.

Angie and Charles are singing "I Will Always Love You". Angie says
thank you for the wonderful present. For their first anniversay, he's
gonna buy her the Apollo, so she and Aretha can wow them. He says she
could be a star. She says right now, she feels like a star, and the
moon, and the sun. They kiss.

Steffi tells Richard that the latest thing the stalker has done was
put suggestive poetry in her fortune cookies. Clay remembers reading
the fortunes on Tess' computer (and I noticed that it was ROses are
red...with the R and O capatilized). He approaches Tess and hints
that he knows about the fortune cookies. Stacey tells Joselyn that
she shouldn't have too much trouble here, she's only renting. Stacey
asks if she does wills. Any lawyer can, but with kids, she'd expect
that she'd have one. She does, but she wants to cut someone out.
Joselyn suggest tall dark and handsome. Yeah, Stacey says, she'll
call her. Tony and Steffi argue. Tony thinks she's too carefree. Tony
says she's about to be a mother. Tess gets the party's attention.
Buck hasn't arrived yet, but Tess introduces her star model, Steffi.
Tess says they may have heard that Steffi was leaving, but that's
wrong. She'll be available for future booking. The crowd is pleased
at the news. Curtis says since he's taking the bracelet back, can he
have a drink instead? No, Stacey says, she's leaving now. Tess comes
over, leaving so soon? Well, yes, Stacey coos, you know how it is
when you have kids. Oh, that's right, you don't have kids, Stacey
says. Well, it's like when you have a love life...Oh, Tess coos, you
don't have one. Stacey says there is a man looking for you. She
points him out. A delivery man comes over and Tess gets a hat box.
The card says "Who stinks now?" Huh? Tess opens the box and screams.
It's a skunk. Stacey is trying not to laugh. Tess looks like she's
trying not to cry. She's glaring at Stacey.
