Well, next week, I'm on vacation, so Debbie will get to pay me back
for all my tag-team recoveries.

Lenox says if Deborah is looking for Mr. Alden...I know damn well
where her is, she screams. Clay tells Steffi he is sorry. Why? She
says, It was wonderful! Oh, yes, Clay says, with a ton of guilt. Look,
Steffi says, while we're alone, tell me what's going on.

Cooper comes to Kate's. Tess meets him on the porch and tells Cooper
she didn't think he was interested in her anymore. He knows he stood
her up last night. She's upset. Does he think he can just waltz over
here for a little afternoon delight? she asks. No, he says, but since
she mentioned it. No! She's done waiting, Tess says, NEVER AGAIN!

Angie is having a violent alergic reaction to the medication.

Janie is upset. Frankie tells her that Angie will be okay. Right,
Charles? Frankie prompts. The doctor comes out and tells them that
it's a reaction to the medication. Well, Charles snaps, why did he
give it to her? She needs it to live, the doctor says. Well, as long
as this doesn't happen again, Charles says. There's no guarantee, the
doctor says. Frankie goes in to see Angie. She thinks Frankie is
Jessie. She says Frankie is getting into trouble and she wishes he
would talk to their son. She's so tired. She just wants to be with
Jessie. No, Mom, don't die, Frankie says.

Clay says she doen't know the power she has over him. Her? It was so
hard to stay away. She never wanted him to, Steffi says. He knows and
that was what made it hard. She tells him she is so happy. It won't
last, he says. Don't leave me, Steffi begs. He won't - but she will,
once she finds out the kind of man he is. She will never leave
him. She stresses that it doesn't matter, she loves him. Even if he
killed a man, he had his reasons, and she'll stand by him. She's not
going anywhere. Get dressed, he says. Where are we going? We're not
going anywhere. He's done. He's been using her, doesn't she get it?
You're scaring me, Steffi says. Clay laughs. He thought she could give
him something, but he was wrong. He can't even carry on an intelligent
conversation with her. That's not true! Steffi creams. Whatever made
her think he could love her? Clay says. Steffi is walking around in a
sheet. She gathers up her clothes and runs out.

Tess tells Cooper she is not in the mood for a story. She just doesn't
want to hear it. Tess says that she should have never used those
words. What words? Cooper asks. Tess says the easiest way to lose
someone is to tell them you love them. Cooper says that he
loves...that she loves him. So, what was it, was it something she
said, something she did....is there someone else? Yeah, Cooper says,
I guess there is.

There's someone else? What's her name? Tess asks. It's not one person,
Cooper says. How many women is he seeing? Tess asks. None, he says,
well, just her. It's his family. She understands, but she is not
happy. He asks for a time frame - how long is she gonna be mad? As
long as she feels like it! Tess says, warming. Cooper appologizes and
offers to let her go upstairs and spank him. Cooper says he needs her,
especially now. She says she needs someone who loves her. He wants
to, he says. Really? Yes. They kiss. Tess leaves the front door open
as they head upstairs.

Deborah sees Steffi and asks if she enjoyed herself. She was taking a
bath. Don't lie, she says. Clay thinks his world is falling apart, and
maybe it is, but he's taking Steffi with him, Deborah says. Steffi wants
to help. Deborah says she can't. THEN YOU HELP HIM! YOUR HIS WIFE!
Steffi screams. She plans on it, but she is worried about Steffi, her
only child. Yeah, right, Steffi says. Deborah tells her that the end
is near, Stefifi should get out! Steffi leaves (to head straint to
Kate's, I assume).

Frankie comes out and tells them Angie thought he was Jessie. Who's
Jessie? Janie asks. Frankie's dead father, Charles tells him. Frankie
tells them Angie wanted to be with Jessie and then she closed her
eyes. Charles asks the doctor what's up. Delusions are common as a
side effect of the medicine. Frankie wants to see her again. The
doctor wants 15 minutes with her first.

In Angie's room, the doctor says the counter medicine is working.
Angie recognizes Charles. The doctor needs her permission to continue
the medicine. She feels sick. That's one of the side effects of the
counter medicine. She wants off the medicines. There may never be a
match, she says.

Janie takes Frankie to the street of an abandoned building. This is
where she slept the first night. Scary? Frankie says. Yeah, but it's
not like "There's someone out there". It's more like "There's no one
out there." It's so quiet, and it's like everyone has gone. Then she
realized that there are people out there, at a party, and she wasn't
invited. So, she crashes the party. She throws a rock at the windows.
She gets Frankie to throw one. They get into it.

Steffi rings the bell at Kate's (why, the door was open :-)). She
rambles on to Tess that she wants out of Corinth, like Paris. New York
is too close. She says he was using her, he hurt her, she thought he
didn't care but he's the only one who did care. Clay? Tess asks. No,
Cooper, Steffi says. Tess, confised (she's not the only one) says
she'll set it up, why doesn't she go to the studio, and she'll make
some phone calls here. Steffi leaves. Cooper comes down and is upset
that Steffi wants to leave. Tess asks if there is a reason Steffi should
stay in Corinth.

Deborah tells Clay that she told the office he wouldn't be coming
in. How nice, have a drink, he offers. No, she says. Where is Steffi?
Clay asks. Why, want to have some more fun? Deborah says. No, he
didn't want to, he had to, Clay says. They talk about HIM and what it
means. Clay tells her that the board will send him straight to hell. If
he goes, he says sarcastically kissing her forehead, he's not
traveling alone. Deborah jerks away from him.
