Subject: Loving Update for June 28, l995

At the agency, Tess is talking to Richard on the phone about Steffy and
the Stalker. She hangs up and turns to find Clay standing there holding a
black garter belt.
Clay: "Thought you might want this back."

Ding, Dong! Stacy's come to see Curtis, to talk to him about what
happened at the Rodeo Bar. Curtis apologizes again. She's there to defend
Buck.
Stacy: "Curtis, Buck has put his heart and soul into that business. He's
not going to give it up without a fight!"
Curtis: "Well, then, he's going to get a fight."
She says she's going to help Buck anyway she can. (Here we go again!)
Curtis though she'd be upset with Buck for the way he treated her.

Angie is checking Jacob's heart with her stethoscope. He's still trying
to explain himself, why he did what he did. She says she's done talking
and after the exam she's through treating him. It seems the only way he
can rectify the situation is by leaving. She starts to put his chart away
but he takes her left hand and sees the engagement ring.

Stacy tells Curtis that Buck was upset, he's an independent guy and wants
to solve his own problems. He's just showing concern for a friend but she
doesn't want to discuss her relationship with Buck with him. Curtis is
determined to get the bar back because he built it from scratch and it's
part of his life. Gwen comes home and overhears the last of the
conversation. Curtis decides to leave. Gwen asks Stacy if he's okay.

Tess takes the belt and thanks Clay. He thanks her for a memorable
evening and has a proposition for her. It's about money! He tells her
she'd be so rich she'd have to hire someone to spend her money.
Tess: " What's the catch?"
He wants to buy out the agency!!

Jacob: "So, you accepted a "ring" from him?"
Angie: "Yes, since I'm going to marry him and maybe now you'll believe me."
Jacob: "Set a date?"
Ang: " Well as you're not going to be invited to the wedding I don't
think you need to worry about that.
Jacob: "Hmmm, you haven't set a date."
Ang: "SOON! Look I don't know how to make this any clearer. I don't want
you in my life, Jacob. I want you gone, I want you to leave me alone!"
Jacob: "Just what is it exactly, you're afraid of Angie?"
Ang: " Look, please, please, just don't go there. I am too tired, I
really don't have the energy."
Jacob: "You are the most stubborn woman I have ever met!"
Ang: "..or maybe you're just wrong, did you ever think of that? I'm going
to sign release papers if you need to arrange for transportation.."
Jacob: "Buck's coming to pick me up."
Ang: Fine, bye."
She opens the door and there's Buck with a wheelchair. After Angie
leaves, Buck feels the tension in the room. He tells JJ about Stacy
leaving him. Jacob reassures him he doesn't have a problem there. He
tells Buck he's thinking about moving on.

Angie 's in her office trying to dictate her findings about the patient.
She looks at her ring and has a flashback of when Jacob woke up and she
was checking his eyes.

Gwen is worried about Curtis and Stacy says he's fine. They get on the
subject of the bar and then G says maybe Clay was right about it being
too soon. She tells stac that Clay doesn't know that Curtis is out yet.
They talk about missing Trisha and then make plans to meet for dinner later.

Clay tells Tess AE wants the agency and she can still run the place as
always.
Tess: "I'm very flattered, but, you know what, I have to tell you
something. You don't have to buy out the agency to sleep with me, I'm a
sure thing."
They sit down to discuss business as Tess puts her legs on his lap while
he runs his hand up and down her thigh. (You would think they'd at least
close the blinds!) She tells him no, he can't have the agency. She
answers the phone and is told there is someone waiting for her. He says
he'll wait for her to return. After she leavesa he notices the computer
screen with the fortunes on it. Tess goes out and finds Curtis waiting
for her. She's stunned.

Jacob is shoving stuff in his bag. Buck wonders why he's leaving Jacob
says there's nothing keeping him in Corinth as Angie comes back into the
room.

Tess is surprised to see Curtis and tells him his father's in her office.
He doesn't want to see him. She asks the receptionist to give them a
little privacy. Curtis has come to ask Tess to do an ad campaign for the
Rodeo Bar. She reminds him that he doesn't own it anymore. He tells her
of his plans and she turns him down. He then shows her a cashiers' check
for ten thousand dollars and tells her about the fight between Stacy and
Buck. Tess is just tickled and then Clay comes out and finds Curtis
there. Curtis jokes about escaping and tells him Gwen signed him out.
Tess tells them to go into her office to discuss the matter. Clay is
worried about him and Curtis reassures him he's fine and then hugs his dad.

Angie tells Jacob his release is signed and gives him some prescriptions.
She also made an appointment with Dr. Hall and asks if there are any
questions. Coldly she says bye and leaves. Buck says, "She's the reason
you're leaving town, isn't she?" He tells Buck to mind his own business.
Buck leaves to get the truck. Jacob gets his keyboard and sits in the
wheelchair to wait for the nurse.

Angie's back in her office. She looks like she's ready to cry....
