LOVING Speedy-Update for Friday, June 23:

Today's episode also featured *two* Noelle Beck (ex-Trisha) Oil of Olay
commercials. :-)

STORYLINE: TWO VISITORS FOR CASEY
 (location: cemetary)
* Ally and Kate enter, Ally carrying flowers. She hands half of them
to Kate, telling her to say 'hi' to Louie. She walks over to Casey's
 grave.
* Kate "tells" Louie that Ally is way too young for this. She says she
isn't even used to it yet and that she misses him so much. We pan to
Ally, sitting alongside a fresh grave with a plain cross instead of a
headstone. She says she found his journal, and we hear Casey's voice.
"I'm the guy who screwed up his life so badly that he had to live
apart from Ally." She says she is here now.
* She continues to hear Casey's voice reading from the journal, an essay
about Ally's smile. She cries. Casey's voice stops. Ally says she
doesn't feel much like smiling these days. "I walk around like this
zombie." After continuing (and crying some more), Kate walks up.
She comforts her. Ally says she will smile for him, but not right now.
 Slowly, they leave.
* Danny is at Casey's grave. He says he is there to apologize. He says
it could have easily been him. He says he owes him for taking that
bullet. "That's why I'm going to take care of Ally for you. Watch
out for her. It's the least I could do, right? [...] Rest in peace,
 Bowman." Danny leaves.

STORYLINE: JACOB DIES (?)
 (starting location: Jacob's hospital room)
* Jacob is playing a keyboard while laying in his bed. An intern comes
into the room and asks what he is playing. "Angie's song."
[In Angie's office.]
Angie enters and sees a pile of messages on her desk. Her secretary
brings in more, saying he is persistent. She apologizes for giving
him her home phone number. [Um, didn't he already have it?] Angie
says that if he wants to talk, they'll talk. She leaves to do so.
* [In Jacob's room.]
Angie enters. Jacob asks why she hung up on him. She tells him to
never call her again. He says there are things she really needs to
talk about. She says she doesn't want to talk about it. He asks why.
She mentions Pine Valley. "Oh, that." He admits "boning up" on her.
She lectures him -- "What you did is beyond despicable." She accuses
him of using what she had for Jesse, not just her love, but the pain
and the grief, against her. "I am sorry. I am so truly sorry." He
says he would never hurt her for all the world. "No, but you *were*
willing to do it for revenge, weren't you?"
* Jacob gets up out of bed. Angie orders him back in bed. He says he
came to Corinth at first to get even with Charles. He says he went
over the edge when his family was destroyed. She asks if that gave
him the right to get back at her and Frankie. He says he wasn't
thinking about right or wrong. She says he had no right to try to get
back at Charles; he was helping him. "I DIDN'T KNOW THAT AT THE TIME!"
He says he was wrong about a lot of things. She says he's right, he
was. He says except for one thing: that he loves her. Angie says he
doesn't know what the word means. He says that's not true and she
knows that, and if she searches deep enough, she would find some of
that love for her. Angie says he is a liar and starts to leave.
Jacob says he isn't the only one, and she stops. He challenges her
to tell him that she doesn't have feelings for him.
* Angie says she does have feelings for him: contempt and pity. He
says that is a beginning... She says she is angry, both at him and at
herself. She almost threw everything away for him. Charles is twice
the man Jacob is, and she is going to marry him. She wants him out of
her life forever. He says she doesn't know what she is saying. She
says she knows exactly what she is saying, maybe he just needs to
listen. He asks what about what she said when he was dying. "As far
as I'm concerned, you *are* dead." She leaves, leaving Jacob stunned.

STORYLINE: HEY, TONY, MAKE MY DAY
 (location: Wilder agency)
* Once again, it is a press zoo at the agency. Frankie is trying to
chase everyone out. Tess screams that she is going to call the cops,
and everyone leaves. Once they do, Tess goes to Stephanie and says
that she is sorry; this was all her fault.
* Tess drags Stephanie into her office to explain things to her. Bree
and Frankie enter. Bree is mad that he stood her up. Frankie explains
that he was held at gunpoint. "That's not good enough." He asks what
he can do to make it up to her. Bree smiles...
[In Tess' office.]
Tess says (again) that she is sorry for letting "those losers" from the
tabloid into the office. She had thought their being there would tend
to diffuse the situation. The press has picked it up and made up some
headlines like "The Wilder Agency Gets Wilder." Bree knocks on the
door and announces a call from Tad Martin from Pine Valley. She says,
enthusiastically, that she will take the call. Stephy and Bree leave.
[In the reception area.]
Tony tells Stephanie that she most likely knows the stalker, whoever it
is. He asks Bree if she lives alone. No, she lives with a roommate.
Why? "Oh, no reason, just making conversation." He mentions that she
wants to be a model. Bree stands up and asks if he is accusing her of
 being the stalker.
* Stephy drags Tony away and tells him she's sure that Bree is not the
stalker. She was there when her dress got shredded. Tony says that's
exactly why he thinks she could be the stalker. Tess comes out and
asks Tony to come into her office.
[In Tess' office.]
Tess suggests to Tony that he lay off Bree. She says Stephy could flee
to Paris. Tony says he thought that was where Tess wanted her to be.
Tess says she changed her mind after hearing about that note, and that
she should stay there with him and her.
[In the reception area.]
Stephy tells Bree not to worry about Tony. Bree says she would never,
ever hurt her. Stephy says she knows. She asks Bree if she wants to
help her plan a surprise for "my friend Tony." "Name it." "Did you
 ever see ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ?"
[In Tess' office.]
Tess says she has a meeting with a producer at WJKM-TV. Tony asks if
 she thinks that is such a good idea.  She tells him to watch Stephy;
she'll handle the press. She leaves.
[In the reception area.]
Bree and Stephy are going to the bathroom. Sarcastically, they ask Tony
if he wants to guard the door. Once they are gone, Frankie asks Tony
if he has a problem with Bree. "Maybe I do, maybe I don't." He says
that if he has a problem with Bree, he has a problem with Frankie.
They turn around to see "Bree" walking out the door. Of course, we
see that it isn't Bree, it is Stephanie in Bree's clothes.
* Tony says it is nice that he is watching after his woman. Frankie
says to leave her out of this. Tony says this isn't personal, it is
only business. He says he is going to ask her some questions when she
gets back. Frankie says she's right over there. Bree enters and sits
down at the reception desk. Tony asks what is going on, he saw her
leave not two minutes ago. Bree says he _must_ have mistaken someone
else for her. Tony says, "You didn't...?" Bree smiles. Tony runs out
 the door.
[At Stephanie's hotel room. (And with only a two-minute head start.
 Wow!)]
Stephanie enters. "Ah. Alone at last!" She takes off Bree's jacket
and starts to get comfortable. Then...we see a shot from the closet
 of a gloved hand...
